What a wonderful video of my husband, Seth, getting to meet the brother he never knew he had, and Barry meeting his son. I am so glad this moment was captured in such a beautiful way. Looking forward to getting to meet Clinton in the future. Thank you for creating this opportunity BYU TV ❤
Don’t discount the birthdads. I was adopted and had only really thought of finding my birth mother. She wasn’t very interested but my birth father! He was awesome. We had so much in common and found we really looked at things the same way. He passed at a young age and I really miss him. I’m so glad we had all the experiences we did.
You are so right. I met both my birth parents finding my dad 10 days before my mother. I had a good relationship with him until he passed away. But my birth mother, we no longer talk although she is alive and kicking, and lives close to me me
His father being a father in the first few seconds after meeting him. ‘Just breathe son’ every time he called him son it was like he had done that all Clinton’s life. I am so happy for him. What a beautiful family to be in. Now he has two. All the very best to everyone. His mother made a loving decision to give birth to him so he could know his family.
The way he was just stuck & stared when Barry said he was his Dad. 😩😭 They look SO much alike, I love how they welcomed him & instantly bonded. Who just randomly has a guitar pick on them?! Hahaha! 🥰
Having adopted our son as a newborn (now 31) we really got a front seat to nature vs nurture. People really are prewired genetically and as parents we get the privilege to influence our kids. I am thrilled for this biological family’s finding each other. It really does help an adoptive person fill in the holes. Unfortunately, not all reconnections are as amiable and successful as was the case for my son, which breaks my heart for him. The story isn’t done being written and hope remains.
I am so sorry. I am adopted and found my birth family. It’s not all roses. I pray your son can get some resolution with his birth family. And I also pray that he can feel at peace with whatever happens. ❤❤❤
I hope they always keep the loving adoptive parents in mind. I have 3 adopted daughters. They are all married and happy. 2 of them stay in touch. The youngest is much loved by her new family, but it's heartbreaking to never hear her voice. (I know she's ok, through her biological grandmother)
I hope and pray 🙏🏽 that she will recognize you as her mother. I was adopted and I found my family. My adoptive parents were already deceased, however, I never gave up my adopted family. We all welcomed my birth family into the family. I would never not talk to my adoptive parents after finding my birth family. ❤🙏🏽
I had the privilege of being with my Dad my whole life!!! I have never taken one moment for granted! I lost him last year. I’m broken! I love that this family is now united!!!
When they started jamming together...gosh...they really played the strings of my heart...music is one of the most powerful forces there is,and combined with the absolute greatest power...love...i mean...no wonder they both say,God is good
Seth and Clinton look like paternal twins. The embrace when Seth said I’m your brother. That was the moment he (Clinton) knew “everything is going to be ok.” Seth's family and circle of love just grew. So magnificent and thank you for sharing
It took 25 years to find my dad. I was able to share the last 8 years of his life with him. He died due to complications of Parkinson's. I helped get him into a nursing home just down the road from where I lived so I could visit him during his last few years. So grateful for the stories, pictures, and memories we made together. I'm even more happy that I secretly recorded our conversations together. Now I can listen to his stories whenever I'd like.
Adoption is a loving option IF the child gets adopted and IF the adoptive parents are not neglectful and/or abusive, none of which is guaranteed. So, what about the kids who are never adopted and have miserable lives? Do they deserve to suffer through a life without being loved? How many kids have you adopted? How much time do you spend volunteering at an orphanage? How much $ do you donate to help raise those unwanted children? Neither an embryo nor a fetus have consciousness and they feel nothing if a pregnancy is ended. An unwanted child feels that 24/7/365 so perhaps adoption is more self-serving than it is altruistic.
@@PS.LynchArt science states otherwise. They DO feel pain and at a very young gestational age... even before most women discover they are pregnant. Every form of abortion is torture... either burning to death or being dismembered alive. You seriously need to learn about what you are supporting.
Not to mention that there is a long list of people waiting to adopt that never get a chance. Where we live, there is a 5+ year waiting list. Most children here are not available for adoption and stuck in foster care due to government bs.
@4:17 you can see the relief in the sons face when the dad said "I did not know about you". Years and years worth of questions about why he was abandoned, just got answered ❤
He's a wonderful son, sweet tall boy and how he honoured God that is awesome 👍,there is so much love and joy inside that young man, God bless you and your new family

I love that his brother brought out the guitars to help him bond more with his dad. That`s a supportive brother right there!
He looks so much like his dad!
lots of similarities!
Dad's twin
The strong, chiseled nose profile sealed it for me. I think his brother probably saw that as well when they met outside for the first time.
Resembles his father 😮
He does! He is a carbon copy of his father! It is uncanny. genetics is amazing.
A guitar pick in your pocket, and a guitar pick in your dad's pocket. And just like that, they knew. 💙
Such a touching moment
Yes 😭💖💖💖

But was it the same gauge pick? :)

He looks exactly like his father ❤
That’s what I was gonna say too
Carbon copy. Even his body build.

I was adopted too. Met my birth Father several years ago. He is gone now, but I'm so glad I met him.
May your dads Rest In Peace, I wish you joy and happiness for the rest of your lives with your loved ones
Thank you for saying that. You were your father’s daughter ❤️
Same situation, always wanted to meet my birth mom but did not. Met my birth dad, was a great experience.

Fact all children like this great young man deserve life
