    I normally race in VR with the Valve Index but I'm thinking of getting a ultrawide monitor and eye-tracking.

    Wont track your eyes when mounted on the top of your screen, only your head. Also, once you calibrate on the bottom and then move it to the top, the calibration gets out of wack. When you look left or right, it rolls and adds pitch up and down. Its super annoying to turn your head and have the screen move up as well. The tobii is not useful for sim racing. I can only see it being used properly on the bottom of your screen. There is a reason they say only compatible on the bottom. Not sure if you got sent your tobii and are pushing the product. If you need an honest opinion for sim racing I can give one.

    I use my C5 and a 25 dollar webcam. And the webcam works better. I think part of the problem is that my screen is a 48-inch c1, and the tobii Eye isn't meant for that. I use it for star citizen only. So, for me, it was kinda a waste of money.

    Hi, the is any adapter in order to mount tobii on top of my LG TV? LG OLED TVs are very thin and bezel less . Thank you

    Wait, can this be mounted on top of the monitor? I keep seeing that it can't.

      Yeah man, all you have to do is calibrate it on the bottom and mount it on top and use the adjustable angle to point it down twords you! works great for head tracking! Won't track your eyes but It sure works well!

    Can you share your screenshot directions to make it work? When it's above I understand that before you did orientation from the bottom of the screen, how do you run it with ACC?

    • @simfin
      @simfin  Рік тому +2

      Yes, so first you calibrate it at the bottom, with the tobi software. Then once it's all set you mount the angle mount that the tobi comes with on top and point it down. From there, you mount the tobi on top, I use track no ir and downloaded the plugins to work with tobi. Then you open tracknoir and make sure it's tracking. After that you run ACC and change the in game Camera

    Do you know if this will work with the Tobii 4c in iracing ?

    • @simfin
      @simfin  Рік тому

      Yes this should work about the same, if you purchase facetrack NoIR and download the tobii plugins, under tracker source select Tobii4C and then in I racing graphic settings under display menu make sure to enable SPS(VR)

    does it work with Burnout Paradise Remastered and/or any FPS?

    • @simfin
      @simfin  2 роки тому

      I'll have to check that out for burn out paradise and it works on some fps games like Hunt Call of the wild, you can use tobi Ghost on all games to track your eyes if you end up mourning it on the bottom but you won't get tracking on all games
