Hi, everyone! I was the speedrunner of this segment! I’ll try not to make this comment too long, but it’s been over a month two since that Tuesday morning, yet the feeling of experiencing getting to be in the runner’s seat on the GDQ stage is absolutely still with me to this day. Thank you so, so much to those who stayed up to see the original stream, those at the event who were with me, plus those who are watching the VOD! While I hope to do it again, I will never let myself take this moment for granted. And, of course, I have much respect for the late FuriousPaul of the CV community, to who I chiefly dedicated this run to. Just a few things! For one, the PB I got beats my 2021 PB from RNG-A-Thon, an online event well before Jupiter, Ucci, Agent, Bobbeigh, and Rayquaza chipped into the run. But, actually, my studying the current strategies cut down on my fastest time way more unrecorded. It’s just that I had two part-time jobs to juggle that I wasn’t confidently able to stream before leaving for Minneapolis. In the end, what I got on camera was almost me losing the PB opportunity to those unexpected mid-run deaths, but that’s just how it goes! It’s a funny story, and one I still appreciate, even when I inevitably beat this personal record. I’ll eventually do a personal commentary on the run, to be determined, and Leon and I will be trying to submit this game to the Soaring Speediest, hosted by SoaringSloth, who was on the back couch. Godspeed, everyone. I hope to see you around on this funny little thing we call the internet.
I catched a bit of your run when I was midsleeping because work and I just watched it for real, you totally have a talent at speedrunning but also big talent in being entertaining ! One of my fav run for now ! Congrats on your PB Tempest ! :)
