I wasn't able to donate during the run so yeah, Haunted Castle, my favorite Castlevania where Simon Belmont ate too much wedding cake and now need to find a bathroom in Dracula's Castle
Extra note about Haunted Castle's availability: It's not only in the Arcade Archives as a standalone thing, but there's also the Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection, which considering that, the Castlevania Anniversary and Castlevania Advance Collections routinely go on sale for like 4 bucks, you're better off getting that as a value deal. Buuuuuuuut the Arcade Archive version shown here has some extra quality of life stuff not in that collection like more screen size options. You can't go wrong either way, even if you're...kinda going wrong in the first place by playing Haunted Castle instead of merely enjoying the art and music.
I definitely considered the Konami Arcade collection, but it's unfortunately region locked, so I'd only be able to play the much harder US version. I'm playing the Euro version here.
Couching this run was such a treat, and all of the work that LRock put into this run really payed off on the big stage. It was an honor to be part of such a stacked couch for such a talented runner. If you want more mind-blowing 1CC (one credit clear) arcade runs, give him a follow at www.twitch.tv/lrock617
I absolutely respect the commitment to The Greatest American Hero theme song. Please know that it was heard and recognized, if not in the auditorium itself.
For people wondering why this game has a reputation for being mean, I want to add something that wasn't said. This is an arcade hard game that does not have lives. So any death is a Game Over that requires putting quarters in the machine.
What a horrible night to have stomach problems
Living with IBS is certainly a curse
Simon Quest cursed of being constipation lol !
What a horrible night to have eaten Church's
Underrated comment😂
I really enjoyed this run of Simons Quest for a restroom. The commentary had me rollin'!
“What does that do?”
“Good Question”
“Does that hurt you?”
“Good Question”
what an amazing run/commentary, everything just complemented each thing perfectly, wonderful!
That's the smoothest run and presentation I've seen in a long while. Absolutely fantastic!
"Speaking of questions, how about some donations?" lol
I played this at a pizza shop in Virginia Beach when I was like 10 this is unlocking a lot of good memories for me thank you :)

Couldn’t watch live but I’m glad this was posted on UA-cam! Heck yeah it’s LRock!
I would consider myself proficient at classic castlevania but this game cooks me like bbq chicken

Killer run and killer commentary/couch. Nice stuff :D
This great has several of my favorite Castlevania tracks.
This is one of my favourite runs this year. Everyone having fun, great banter with the couch, and absolutely owning an evil game!
Whenever you see Bobbeigh, you know it's going to be a good time
Thanks to GDQ I learn about so many weird small titles with great runners and couches!

To further this, you have a limited number of Credits you can apply, and Credits can also be spent on HEALING instead
This game is incredibly tough. Cool to see a run of it.
Haha, this rules - Engaging and laugh-out-loud funny commentary! Rad run! 🏰🚽
Siempre se disfruta un run de Castlevania
One of the hardest game ever
Now I'm hoping to see Haunted Castle Revisited in the next GDQ
I definitely would have thrown the controller at the bridge sequence
"good question" lol
nice ^^
The game is also on Xbox!
