From playing multiple sessions of WHF I've come to the conclusion that the solution to most scenarios is to kill everybody in the village, burn it to the ground (after lootage), and then sift through the ashes to make sure you got everybody and everything.

This is a sign from Sigmar or RNGsus. I was playing in Mordheim a very tough battle with my witch hunter warband in which my leader, a hero and 3 henchmen got dusted and all got full recoveries.

I always find it kinda funny how you can kill the EF priest that gives you the corpse burning quest by just giving him a quick blast of Igni and then proceed to massacre his guards despite him saying you have no chance against the 3 of em. Like dude ima instakill you as soon as the convo ends then slice up your guards like they’re made of straw...

I have a question. Let's say there is a situation where both Witch Hunter Templar and Warrior Priest of the Silver Hammer find themselves in the situation where both found out marks of Chaos corruption. But not necessarly come eye to eye when it comes to dealing with the matter. Where Witch Hunter wants to burn entire village and Warrior Priest who by the word of Sigmar is one who protects those from the Chaos wants to go with more humane approach. Witch Hunter wants to go with Purification, and Warrior Priest wants to go with Salvation.
What is such situation leads to outright disagreement? Both "Gentlemen" have backing of the Church. Which ultimately has the higher authority? Which one of them has the higher standing within the hierarchy of the Church? Which one has to give way to the other?
I ask this question simply because I have always had difficulty with seeing difference between Warrior Priests of the Silver Hammer and Templar Witch Hunters. Both are sworn to destroy the great evil of Chaos and more. They may have different methods and resources. But both organizations aim for the same goal.
They probably look at it on a case by case basis. The Sigmarite priests would try and look at those who can be saved and devote them to salvation, either by becoming flagellants or being forced to do daily penance. But when the person in question has gone too far with no hope of salvation, they call upon the Templar Witch Hunters to deal justice.
Kinda like a good cop, bad cop of Warhammer. Either that, or the Sigmar priests are meant to keep the unaffected people in line, while the Templars work on investigating the more corrupt people.
This question can be seen in many things, when does my right to x get stopped by your right to y? As said its probably a case by case basis

A small correction, Arch.
The Ar-Ulric had two votes for the Emperor. The Grand Theogonist still has the most, though.
It's why the Ulricans are the closest rivals of the Sigmarite far as political power goes. There were Emperors who were Ulricans back in the day. I think Manfred Ratslayer who saved the Empire from the Skaven was Ulrican, though in his case he was elected as Emperor by default because he saved the Empire. Same thing happened with Magnus the Pious too.
I thought the ulricans had only one, where the grand theogonist and his 2 arch lectors had 1 each. Evening out at 3 for sigmar, 1 for ulric.
And yeah there were ulrican emperors like the otillian emperors (though those were contested as emperors)

In your example scenerio, I imagine the Witchhunter would charge the whole village for allowing such a statue to remain. If they were true followers of Sigmar they wouldnt allow such a thing to stand.

I really want more info on the Blood Dragons. Yes, I want to write a fan fic about a Blood Dragon warrior who works as a mercenary for the Dark Elves. The intention being to earn the blood of one of their enslaved dragons as payment, no matter how long it takes. After all, he'd have eternity...
One of my favourite WHFRP campaigns had my players caught between a Solkan witch hunter and a Malal one (posing as a follower of Sigmar). All three groups trying to solve what was happening in Marienburg and the surrounding areas.
in my 2nd campaign of warhammer fantasy rp our squad of 8 players (plus one skaven player which had been SOMEHOW hiding that he is a skaven) go into the sewers. the skaven player finds a bunch of skaven assassins and convinces them to ambush us from behind at the first encounter. later we tried to kill the cultists we were there to kill, then the skaven player poison bombed literally all 8 of us with one bomb as the cultists attacked. I was one of 3 survivors and it was actually one of the fate points spent that summoned 3 witch hunters that heard about us going into the sewers and knew we were fucking retarded. they killed the cultists and the skaven and saved the 3 of us but they couldnt save the campaign. it was the last session of that campaign. i called the moment 8 man collateral autism. i still have a screenshot of this moment. my friends are dumb lol. witch hunters ftw though!
