That Cooper is a fish magnet! 😊 I’m surprised that you didn’t pick up a golden with those tuffies. Great video and tell Cooper he did a great job reeling in those fish!
Have you fished these cliffs recently? I have watched many of your videos. I’m going to try there and I am going to try to throw as close to the cliffs as I can from the bank next to the boat ramp.
Here’s another video that lays out what I use for my Trout set up. Catch more trout with this technique (Watauga River) ua-cam.com/video/Awq7zVaAbkU/v-deo.html
Hey Paul, Wataga lake gets up to 250 feet deep at its deepest. That’s where the state record was caught. I caught some lake trout out of Wilbur Lake which is directly below Watauga Lake and has frigid water running through it 24 seven year round. Basically Lake Trout can only live on the far east side of Tennessee where the mountains and cold water are located
Feel free to message me when you get into town. My wife is super close to having a baby so no promises but I’ll definitely make an effort to come say hi and see if we can hang out.
Love it!!! I love Wilbur Lake it’s so peaceful up there!!! Nice video again!!
Thanks Daniel, I always love going to Wilbur.
Gah! So fun!! Love Coop’s commentary!
Yeah, you never know what he’s gonna say
Thank you for having so much fishing. Just started fishing in the Tri Cities area.

Yeah, he is a great fishing buddy. I’ll let him know you said that.
More Cooper -> Less Buckets. Love it!
Buckets I shall return. Hopefully one day with Jr buckets.
Cooper has more catches than Bulger
Cooper clearly has the most natural talent no doubt. Buckets just trying to shift the narrative from his recent poor showing.
@@falcon060289 You may be onto something there
Cooper is the best fishing buddy! Gotta watch out for those dinosaurs while you are fishing😃
Agreed. He has the best commentary!
especially flying dinosaurs

Thank you!
I didn't know Wilbur had lake trout
Yeah, they have weaseled their way in and have a solid population now.
They have any smallmouth in this lake? I got invited to go fish this lake next week with a friend.
No, just brown trout, rainbow trout, and Lake Trout. Too cold for bass
@@MichaelKaal-TriFisher Good to know. Thank you
Lake trout down in Tenn? How deep is that body of water- I thought lake trout was a northern fish?

Can you explain to the fishing illiterate (me) what down rigging means?
Down rigging is where you drop your line down below the boat with some kind of weight.
Michael I am going to be at the campground camping for a week starting on wednesday. Would like to get together to fish.
