It's not the team. Just 3 pieces of the team. That is what is so great about this line up. It doesn't have to the same guys every game being clutch. Acuna, Riley, and Olson will get it going, just in time for someone else to have a bit of a cold spell. And the pitching has really come through to make it a little easier to get through this small stretch.
If the Braves are winning via small ball rather than long ball...I'll take that any day as long as they're winning. The power will come as the season progresses...unless MLB has done something to the baseballs without telling anybody. For some reason the baseballs didn't seem like they were carrying over the weekend and they were hit pretty good...maybe it's just me though. Any ETA on when Sean Murphy is coming back?
@@peteryoung5147 My point exactly. In past years, the Astros were “hitters who had power” but our guys seem to be “power guys who K a lot.” Yes, I’m being unfair but these guys are our big guns.
Mark my words Olson and Riley are not having the same level of success as Acuna. The fact that yall keep trying to hold the situations as similar is CRAZY. Aquiah is still performing amazing just not to his standards. Olson and Riley are bad at the moment. simply that
You would think pro ball players would adjust to different pitching in box but something is going on with laziness and bad coaching plus dealing with the same issues that have effected the Braves if it’s not pitching it’s hitting and player trades same old problems START BY GETTING ALEX OUT OF THE OFFICE AND COACHING STAFF OUT THE DOOR! Bad decisions and no support on the mound for struggling pitchers is bad enough but players like kelenic over Duvall versus teams where Duvall done well kelenic was used and done zero on the field or moving runners over when your down runs ,living with hopes of the LONGBALL to drive in runs with a changed heavier ball does not help with the problems..bad baseball by the coaching and GM Alex ANTHOPOLOUS,he needs to go!

Arcia is pretty cold lately, too
Every team goes through a slump to open up the season the team will be fine
They look like the Atlanta Hawks, Falcons and United. They also look like the team that played Philadelphia Phillies in 2022 and 2023.

Small ball is slump proof, maybe this is a point of emphasis to try to play different to prep for the playoffs this year.

If it's after All Star break, then you can worry. Right now... not so much.
Riley and Olson are automatic outs this season. They’ll be fine. They’re proven big leaguers
