From Whitney Green, a one-trip train will terminate at Greenslade, Benton, & Newry. From Ashlan Park, destinations are Connolly, Newry, & *Newry Harbour.* Back to the board for the next trains, there are long lines of words for the destination for many trains, which are separated into two words. The only destination that has a long enough name for that orange blip is *Newry Harbour,* and since trains from Greenslade don’t go to Newry Harbour, it has to be Ashlan Park. I took a lot of effort for this so yeesh
If this is a station upgrade for 1.9, that means the update should be coming out within the next few weeks (hopefully). But actually, I don't think it is Ashlan Park because I can only see one word on the signs.
Does it feel wrong if I say I hope this could be James Street extension? We can't see where the end of the tracks are and for all we know it could be buffers. AND on the arrivals/departures shows a LLLLOOOOONNNNGGGGG name, ya know how at SC, trains terminating at the terminating platforms sometimes get an '(Arrival)' thing next to them, this could be one of them.

I highly doubt that its Ashlan Park. Also, the tallest building in Connolly would be the colourful houses that was 3 stories high and would either not be seen or some would be able to be seen.

I'd doubt theyd remove the sea from connolly as it was recently added. It cant be looking towards benton as no bridge or city. That's why I think it is probably an upgraded version of James Street. Seeing as it is a new line, they would also probably put new cantenary.
but... ashlan park did get a small update in 1.8 (it was the new ramp) So i beleive it may be a new waterline extention supposingly branching off after faraday road and i think it is that because you know the 3 platforms at FR ik that one is from the depot but it just makes some sence.

not to be rude but i doubt it is ashlan park yes there is a curve in the background but we can see that to one side of the curve is hills with houses, unlike connolly where that side of the curve as a small area with boats, and since the connolly area was upgraded in 1.8, i doubt it would be upgraded again also the hills in the far background of the sneak peek are similar to those that can be seen far away from james street currently

It's not Ashlan Park, It's Airport West. 1. There appears to be a curve in the track in the distance (as shown by the positioning of the houses), this is where it joins with the Connolly line. 2. Those hills in the distance are next to Ashlan Park. 3. The station is in a trench, like Airport West is. 4. Ashlan Park doesn't need an upgrade for the station itself, it already looks relatively modern. If I am correct, then it looks like Ashlan Park will also be getting a scenery upgrade, at the least.
No it is Ashland Park, if Airport West was open you would see the Airlink tracks, as the Airlink tracks pass over Waterline not far from there. Also there would be an Airport in the distance and if it was an airport station there will be no need for a town.
@@YorksLancsTransportHub The AL tracks are to the east of Airport West (so away from where the camera is facing, as it is pointed towards Benton/Ashlan Park). Also Airport West already serves what looks like a small town and is a distance from the airport...in my opinion it should be renamed.

Yes ashlan Park needs an update but the platform format is perfect and should stay the same
I highly doubt that its Ashlan Park.
My reasoning:
