I just got my first ever pile of loot from BBTS and I'm now wishing I had started using this feature years ago.

Yeah I don’t understand it myself Deano, people getting all pissy about the European packaging. I mean the mini comic has pictures, but no dialogue. Me personally I collect the figures, not the comics. But even if I did, I still wouldn’t make a big deal about it, it still has great artwork… you sound like me, because of space, most of my origins and masterverse are in Rubbermaid totes in ziplock bags 😂😂. Appreciate the video my friend, you and Mrs. AT8 have a great weekend brother!
I wouldn't mind eventually getting an oversized, hardback Dark Horse compilation of the Origins mini-comics, like they did with the Vintage ones.
@@Beedo_Sookcool I agree. I have the one for vintage comics and it's great! Instead of collecting all those individually, I have all of them in one book on the shelf. I'm glad dark horse came out with it.
@@Subzero271978 It's a fantastic volume! It's so dang heavy, I have to put it on a pillow on my chest if I'm reading it in bed, or it bruises my sternum. Besides being able to read the mini-comics I missed out on as a kid, the fact that they're quadrupled in size means I'm always seeing little details that I couldn't make out on the originals.

I use the Pile Of Loot if I'm buying several things in the same sitting or Pre-Ordering knowing other items will be available for Pre-Order within a certain span of time. Also will add on if I've already started a Pile and new items come to my attention. But if I'm getting something on BBTS that's already(or soon available) & there's nothing else on the horizon I'm more likely to *Ship Now/Ship When Available*.

I always use pile of loot to save money on shipping and to try and avoid situations where something else comes in right after you've asked to have your order shipped out to you. It takes a long time for them to ship things out, but it makes sense if you're trying to save money, especially given that their prices are usually higher.

If one can be patient, the BBTS Box of Loot is a great method. I've used it since I got back into collecting figures in 2018, and I've been very pleased with it. The 200X He Man and Skeletor are from the early 2000's cartoon. Those two are nods to that series. Looking forward to the Leech and Mantenna figures too. I missed out on them when I was a kid.
I've had that Pile of Loot timing happen to me a few times. I got cranky about it the first time, now its just amusing.
I couldn't believe it. The Obi-Wan figure was sitting in the pile for a few weeks while I waited for the others to arrive, and then BAM, the second I release the pile, the others get there. Typical!!!!..LOL

I live in Canada and buying from bbts is great I can hold items for months and build up enough of them to save on shipping. It cost more for shipping to Canada but how does bbts get away with only charging $4 ??? That's insane
I honestly have no idea because for me to send the same package in the opposite direction, it would cost at least $25.
Yeah man that’s a good idea, although I think I’d get really impatient knowing I have all that stuff piling up and want it immediately lol.
But the scheme itself makes a lot of sense, and that deluxe Leach looks awesome, I had no idea that guy was coming 👌

LOL. If I were someone who could take frequent flights, I would definitely do that series as it doesn't appear to have been done before.

I use the Pyle of loot timer. I don't ship until the day prior of cancelation on the timer. Definitely worth it. I've gotten GIANT GINERMOUS BOXES

I've ordered from BBTS for years. Their $4 shipping is excellent. It does take a week or more usually for me to receive my shipment over here in Michigan, but I still think it's worth it.

I didn't use the pile of loot option when I first started purchasing from BBTS but use it now. I can confirm that BBTS items take forever to ship once you release them but I guess we really can't complain as the shoo is so cheep.

I live in Illinois. I think they have the bbts wearhouse near my state. It used to be faster for shipping. Now it seems get to me little slower.

Yeah, BBTS is great! Been using them for almost 20 years, now, and their customer service is exemplary. Overseas shipping & customs can really rack up the costs, though.
Does anyone else remember when there used to be "surface-mail" options for shipping things internationally? Sure, it would be conveyed by truck and ship, and it'd take twice as long to get to you, but it would actually cost MUCH less, sometimes less than half of what the airmail cost was.
And now, all package carriers everywhere FORCE you to take the much more expensive airmail or express mail options. I know waiting two months for packages was agony, but I'd probably be tens of thousands of quid richer today, if surface mail were still an option.
I wish that was still an option. Shipping to South Africa via airmail is BRUTAL.
I have been buy from big bad toys for a long time instead of getting the $4 flat shipping I usually pay 10 and I get it in less than a week. And yes they are outstanding in packaging and everything

I have used the Pile Of Loot option a couple of times. It makes even more sense for me to do that because I live in the UK and shipping is EXPENSIVE!
I'm a bit jealous you have your Leech and Snout spout already, as I'm still waiting for my pre-orders to come in. I'm most looking forward to getting Leech, Mantenna and Whiplash. I can't wait (even though I keep my MOTU on the cards)!

I just ordered in BBTS; this is my first time selecting the pile of loot option. All I ordered were pre-order toys, it is a different month they will arrive in their shop? I wish they will sent it to me until all my figures arrived in their shop.
You have 90 days to ship your pile of loot so you can let the preorders pile up in there as they become available.
Love the Pile of Loot, though airmail shipping to South Africa is hella expensive especially with our exchange rate having gone to shiters the last while back. I'm really jealous of your $4 flat rate.

I used to get a lot of stuff sent to England, and the shipping (and sometimes customs charges) can really add up, the larger the shipment.
Still, it's usually either pay the fees or miss out, because it's nigh-impossible to get complete runs of anything outside the USA -- and sometimes WITHIN the USA, too.

I've just bought Mantenna in the UK and it looks the same as yours, so maybe that is a European version. I don't know what the complains are about.

Great video. But I've never actually bought anything from BBTS. Is it a good store to buy from?
It's fantastic and the $4 shipping can't be beat. They are a little slow to get things, but I've never had them cancel a preorder on me and I've received everything in first class condition because they package it all extremely well.
People are quite rightly annoyed about the "european" packaging because the comic inside is all but pointless. Why the devil they decided to remove all the text is beyond me. It's the comic that's the problem. When the figure shows up on a multi-language card it means you literally can't read the comic.
Serious question.....do people really care about the comics? For me, it's all about the figures.
