My best friend just constantly watches random got scenes without having seen the show as she has no way to watch unless she comes to my place and she spoiled that something about Dany in the very last episode of S8. I would have cried my guts out for Jon if I hadn’t known this, and I would have cried even more when he came back. It just happened for me, but it makes me sad that I won’t be able to cry when that bit about Dany happens simply because it won’t be a surprise anymore.
Celestial Death96 just finnished it. I really do not understand. I don’t even understand why I was crying for one and a half hours straight on the last episode. I was literally crying the whole fucking episode and I have no idea why. Apart from that bit about Dany. I guess it was just because I won’t have anything to watch in the future.

Yep. After season 5, the quality began to slowly suffer. Season 6 was formidable, Season 7 was just okay, and Season 8 was a failure for the most part. A lot of people will say it's because they got ahead of the books, which is definitely part of it. However, I think if they would've just had the normal amount of episodes for the last two seasons they could've wrapped it up much better. It was an amazing show overall, but it could've been legendary.
@@oldcat7 yeah, when they cut down on the number of episodes it feels rushed. Dorne and Highgarden were taken out too quickly, for instance. It should have been more of a large-scale war with them on Dany's side. And season 8 was obviously even more rushed.

I find it so great that Alliser doesn't participate in Jon's killing in the books. Jon is not killed by his enemies, but by the people who he thought he could trust.
Also, Bowen Marsh an co have way better reasons to kill Jon than the guys in the show where they were just some racists towards the wildlings.

I've been wondering how Steven manages to never cry on this show, but today I figured out! His tears ducts just leave through his hands instead of his eyes, that is the most logical explanation to why he started to have sweaty hands when Jon died.
Get back on the horse, guys. Honestly. Throw yourselves into season 6 ASAP and you'll remember the other stories going on, with other characters, and you'll feel better for it.

No other tv shows in the world can get this kind of reaction from audience ever.
When I watched this heartbroken reaction, I instantly had a flashback about Steven telling, while wathching the second episode of season 1: "I'm so curious how Jon Snow become this super iconic character"... and now they morn his death like he was almost an actual person! It's really amazing and fascinating how much a tv show can bring so many emotions and so much attachment! On a more personal note, when I finished to read this chapter (basically the end of the last book), I had to read the last scene again because I couldn't believe it. But, since what happened to Ned in the first season/book, I was ready for anything. The only thing I can add is just keep watching because it's the kind of show that's so much more than one character (even a beloved one)!

Nikki shows our devastated sadness, and Steve shows our fury. You two are perfect for this.

True story, Oberyn Martell became my favorite character after his little talk with Tyrion. And then of course in the next episode he gets his head smashed in like a melon. Lol

I was one of the people who had to wait a year to find out if Jon Snow was actually dead. It wasn't that bad. We had time to dry our tears, gather our thoughts, create theories and wager bets. It was fun. The series was caught up to the books at this point, so no spoilers existed on the internet. We were free to research the lore and hear theories. It was something people (strangers included) could really bond over. A third of the people thought he was still alive. A third thought he was dead but would be resurrected. A third thought he was dead and out of the story for good. Rumors came out that Kit Harington was spotted at a GOT filming location. People went crazy. Then Kit announced that he was indeed in Season 6 but only as a corpse. Every interviewer was trying to get more information from cast members. Body language experts were giving their opinions. Then Season 6 came out and all was finally revealed. Those were some good times.

The first time I saw Jon Snow die I was in shock... I thought for sure the fanbase would riot and the ratings would drop. But they didn't. Watching Nikki cry brought back the same tears I shed when I first saw this. Yeah it was brutal and confusing. Steven I appreciate you being a rock buddy. It didn’t drop mainly cause they killed off Jon snow in episode 10 and everyone knows episode 9 is where you kill your main characters and keep them dead. Jon’s death ended on a cliffhanger so fans had hope he would be back.

On the night this episode aired, there was a disturbance in the Force as millions of people shouted "WHAT THE FUCK!!!" at the same moment. It really, really sucks right now but there is so much more to the story.

I read the books a couple of years before series 5 came out and when I read that final scene I threw the book across the room in disgust and grief. And the most frustrating thing is that the book fans are still waiting for GRRMs conclusion to all of this today!

I want to compliment Steven on his editing skills. Noticed a while ago how balanced your videos are. Sometimes you will include only a second of the footage and leave the audio so that we can still hear how the scene plays out and see your reaction. And also you often cut out all pauses in a dialogue. We can see more footage, but it still falls under the fair use policy. It's the small things, but it's so cool you pay attention to them. I think you're doing an amazing job and we all appreciate that.

But yes, the editing is amazingly done. Because of those little things like cutting out the pauses in a character's dialogue makes a big difference, let's us see the most amount of footage possible. I never walk away from your videos feeling like you left a scene out. Bravo!!
Yeah, Steven's probably the best editor out there -- certainly the best of those currently watching this show. These videos are always a treat to watch, and not just because Steven and Nikki are just awesome personalities.

Everything important is included and that makes these reaction videos a great way for all of us to rewatch. Well, the reason why Drogon brought her to the Dothraki Sea is because to him that’s his home. It’s where he was born. That’s where he’s been hanging around for so long not being in Meereen.

Steven was pretty shocked too i knew this will Tare Nikki apart I also knew Steven wouldn't tear up because I think the strongest feelings at this scene is Anger and shock so I feel him alot too ! He was bummed all day even at the mods group so yeh this took a toll on them both , but they are strong enough to handle it , & am certain they will really enjoy season 6 as the story goes up to a whole new level !

When I was watching the reaction and Nikki started to cry, I was laughing so hard, I, started to cry😂😂 I went through the same heartbreaking process because John is one of my favorite character but seeing someone else reacting how I did, just made me laugh and smile because I remember how devastating it was. G.O.T really love to play with the audience's emotions. When they're done we'll probably need therapist😏

I've had to wait every year since season 2. The final moments of this season truly broke me. The days after were the hardest, I just wanted another episode to tell me everything was okay.

After Jon Snow died I legit went into a borderline depression for about 6 weeks. It affected my lifestyle, eating habits, sleep schedule, ect.
Once season 6 started, I was eventually able to get past Jon’s death, because the story just continued to be so damn addicting. And now his watch is ended.

It is a shame I did not get to meet her then, I would have asked about Arya, she is my favorite since episode 2. I was really worried about her.
I almost quit the show after this episode but the whole GOT community grieved together and made it to Season 6 look, the story continues and lots of episodes left.
Me to, and the i saw that scene with Melisandre from season 4 and read that passage from the book and started suspecting.
I mean, did you people really think it was a coincidence that the one person who can bring people back from the dead (Melisandre) happened to be in the same vicinity as Jon Snow? It clouded my judgment, and after so many important deaths i thought that is it, goodbye Jon. Totally forgot about that Thoros of Myr business before. After that i went on youtube and i saw some theories, that i didn't know before, and i saw this scene that i forget, and started to wonder 🤔, you know that business from the books, she looked at the flames, wanted the glimpses of Azor Ahai, and she only saw "Snow"...

My first was the Red wedding!!! I don’t watch it ever again! I do a rewatch of GoT videos but a huge except the RED wedding and the viserion part.

This is the way the last book Martin wrote in the series ended with Jon being murdered. So book readers knew it was coming. At this point in the show book readers were finally in the same boat as people who only watched the show. Know one knew what would happen next because Martin hadn't written it. All everyone knew was Jon was just murdered in front of us & we had to wait a year to see the next episode. You guys are lucky I tell ya.. Love you guys & your emotional investment in the show. I loved Jon Snoooh.

I think Nikki and Steven are still in shock about Jon Snow. So this lesser point is likely not on their mind. When she hears that 1/2 the men, with all their horses, had abandon camp in the night, she goes instantly from confident and cocky, to devastated, humbled, and crushed. Hubris of her power and faith and in her visions just got a huge gut check. She rethought her vision, and realizes she done fk'd up. lol Does that mean Stannis was never the "Chosen one" or the "Prince who was Promised"? All we know for certain is Melesandra knows Stannis will not win against the Boltons, and is completely in shock and lost. She has nowhere to go, but Castle Black... perhaps head to the Shadow Tower and out to sea back to Essos. Who knows.
