Tolkien made it very clear what orcs wore.😂😂😂 In many many ways. From corrupted elfs and evil summoning magic to dead organic matter in the ground. But never 9-5 job with a housewife. 😂😂

Not true, he specified in his letters that Moria had fields and workers just like any civilization on the world. This scene is retarded, but don't misquote the man on orcs, it was something he continuously rethought and revised.

Did you read the appendixes ? It is stated clearly that they “ procreate in the same manner as the children of Eru” aka elves and men.

If everyone is a character, person, not a monster, there are no creatures to defeat and fight with.

I’m probably overthinking it, but I think I understand what’s going on here with the orcs showing a softer side at the moment. The orcs are under no one’s control right now. They follow Adar willingly. They followed Morgoth as their creator, but also because he had immense power. Morgoth didn’t need to worry about their obedience-he was too powerful. Sauron, on the other hand, isn’t as powerful, and in the show, he knows of their betrayal. To keep the orcs in line, he ensnares their minds, as they are truly extensions of his will. That is how he keeps them under control.
Adar is leading the orcs into a trap when they get to Eregion, just as the last of the rings are forged. Sauron's power will be amplified by the rings, and he will ensnare the minds of the orcs, turning them against Adar and robbing them of their free will. This will allow us to see the small parts of humanity in the orc family, which will make the tragedy even greater.
These are just my thoughts, though. I should mention all my knowledge is secondhand from UA-camrs.

Perspectives. Shadow of war is reviled concerning shelob. No one mourned the guardsmen after Tallon wrecked the story.

Rule number 1: ignore the Jackson films.
In this case, the show didn't contradict the book. In fact, I'll give the show some credit for including Orc-women, Orc-babies and trying to paint Orcs as not completely evil.

Why? The whole point of the Orcs is that they are corrupted beings. The films were very true to how they were portrayed in the books while this is not. You do not give credit for being less accurate.

Orcs in Tolkien are completely evil.
They do not have private lives.
They do not have a culture.
They do not have friends or families.
      They do not follow causes.
They’re just evil and they follow evil. That’s it.

How the fuck by reading the books thinks that orcs could be not totally evil ? ffs. Even in The Hobbit, orcs can only kill, eat people and destroy anything beautiful.
If you want to put some dissonance between good and evil, you already have the perfect race to talk about that, human kind.
Orcs are by nature corrupted by evil. This is absolute woke shit trying to convince you that they can be such emotionnal and normal creatures. What's next, a troll with a Nobel price ?

Okay sure, let’s ignore Jackson’s masterpiece for this abomination. 😂

@@defenstrator4660 Well, Tolkien wrote in letters that Orcs were "naturally evil" but then he added "I would not say they are irredeemable, that would be too far" then he added that even if Melkor created them, Eru allowed them to exist, so there's that.
I mean, Peter Jackson's movies painted them as "naturally evil" or as "irredeemable"? I would say the latter. And this show is paiting them how? Maybe going too much on the redeemable part?
I would say that no one has really treated this complex subject as it deserves. Not even Tolkien, to tell the truth (yes, there are missed spots in Tolkine literature, even he acknowledged that). He never wrote anything that would really adress the "naturally evil but somehow maybe redeemable" that he had in his mind".
