To be honest, vegetables can be tasty any way they are cooked, unless you overcook them, of course; certainly, this is not the healthiest, it's a treat. However, it's one way to make your children have vegetables, especially broccoli and cauliflower. The memory of the smell of overboiled cauliflower or broccoli my mother used to make still haunts me, and I wasn't a fan of either when I was younger.

This is some weird fried veg. Not tempura. At least that’s not how we made it in Japan!

This is the weirdest tempura recipe ever ..... Veggies are tasty by themselves in my opinion, without the need "to make it more tasty"..... Also why sugar when it is usually a savoury item? That liquid was more of a sugar syrup instead of a brine 🤔
