The HART machine was a limited time only product. It is discontinued for now, but if they get enough positive remarks with it, they will probably bring it back. I was told that by a HART Rep.
Man, I REALLY appreciate all your videos! I’ve been doing car washing for the past 2 summers. Getting into shampooing and detailing now and your videos have guided me along the way! Thank you!
Vacmaster all the way as low budget $ entry level equipment you can save profits to buy pro equip. Locally in my area its used internally by 3rd party driver companies who deliver daily using leased Amazon vans. They use this weekly to vacuum interiors and once a month to refresh shampoo the cloth driver/passenger seats.
I enjoy my Vacmaster . I bought mine like a year ago for 150$ off of ebay and I was lucky enough to find another one at the swap meet for 45$ still in the box. The only thing i wish was different is the handle. It's a bit big to get into tight areas in the car. Other then that it's great, especially if you don't want to drop a ton of money on an carpet extractor. Well worth the money imo
Dude you should Frankenstein the better parts of each onto one another. If they have the same motor but the hose and cord is longer on the vac master, put that hose and cord on the smaller more portable Hart vacuum. Then you've got more reach, additional accessories for the hart, and still plenty of room for a recovery tank. I think a lot of the gripe people have with the Hart unit is the huge handle becomes a big inflexible part of it once you've got it hooked up and ready to rock. Also you should take a look into the grand falls pressure washer from Giraffe Tools when you get a chance. Super elegant wall mount unit and the specs look great if they're correct.
Just caught this well done video ( great info by the way). As of today ( April 20, 2024), the Hart is available at Walmart online for $179 and the Vac Master on Amazon is going for $152
Great review. I have the VacMaster and i used it for a year now. Great quality and value. Only negative is the head (smaller one) is still difficult to maneuver in tight areas.
I came across the Hart unit and was about to purchase it last week when it popped up that it was out of stock. I left it on my cart for a future purchase when it disappeared out of my cart. In doing a search to find out what happened to it, I came across this one. Wasn't sure about it and its $30 price difference but after watching your review, I see it's basically the same unit. Going to call Hart tomorrow and find out if theirs is coming back. If they say no, I'm going with this unit.
Bro I like all your videos they been really helpful to me. I’ve detailing cars for about a year and that extractor could make my work easier, and it’s always an investment can’t have enough tools 😂😂😂

I have been using a central machinery steamer paired with a sterling wet vac extractor and customers love it. However the sterling extractor was never meant to do that and it's not very mobile so I just bought a vacmaster.
I contacted Hart directly, and they said that shampoo extractor was discontinued and it was a Walmart only item. Seems like poor marketing. Why only make something for sale at Walmart? Crazy. Thanks for this video . 👍🏼👍🏼
First thing that came to mind on the big attachment is that the squeegee blade and the brush the tight one is for whichever one your using and the loose slot is just to store the second attachment. Just a thought.
I think you could be right, and depending on what that squeegee is made of, and the amount of force you can put down on the extractor head, it could make for a pretty potent unit. If you've never seen any rug or carpet cleaning videos you should check some out and feast your eyes on the amounts of filthy water they push out with the Teflon brooms/squeegees
I got the vacmaster for Christmas from my girlfriend last year. Walmart in hart brand completely copied it totally down to the T only problem is I paid $189 well she paid $189 they gave it to me for a gift it is the exact same copy the only problem I wish they would make the handle the extractor Part smaller
Great video. They discontinued the hart and the vac master you have in the video. Vac master now has a newer model similar to this one in video but they changed the buttons on the hose to operate on the side of hose, they changed the way the hose looks and they changed the extractor tool to look similar to the brissle handheld. Has a brush on it which I hate so much.
Another great comparison , really helps make a decision. Maybe you could consider doing a video , where you answer some of the questions that are in the comments of your many videos.
Hey anyone know what size or where I can buy the drain cap for this wet/dry vac? Kiddo lost it last he used it. I have looked everywhere but nowhere to be found. Thanks
So one thing I don't really see in any reviews... I'm thinking of getting one of these, but would like to get rid of my big bulky shopvac. How is this at picking up leaves, sawdust, and other debri off the garage floor? Basically being used as a shop vac, versus an extractor? Mine would be used as a shopvac most of the time, while also being used to clean our cars interiors, and likely brought into the house occasionally for those spills and stains.
IMJOSHV what extractor do you use for your business? You said MYTEE but which one and if I were going to just start out with a MYTEE which one would you recommend?
I just ordered this one , compared to what I was using the Bissell spot clean pro , hopefully this will be 10x better. Got it of amazon with the 23$ insurance for 3 years so if it breaks they can exchange it.
There are very few true manufacturers. The entire globe is a bunch of people rebranding. That goes for all the Gucci chemicals everyone is paying a premium for. Yea some companies recipes varies ever -so-slightly but 90% of it is the same stuff from the same factories in China. Lived in Thailand for 10 years was a buyer in China for 6 for Americans, Canadians and Australians. Its a handful of cities with some plants and they make everything for the planet.
Question: With the Vac Master and Hart being so much alike, can the Vac Master tools fit the Hart machine? I like the long water cord on the carpet Vac Master tool and I was wondering if I bought the tool would it fit and work on my Hart machine?
Would it be possible to remove the hose from vacmaster get a new hose as well as a mytee head to make the extractor with a pull trigger instead of the buttons ?
I just bought one of these and the spray wand is weak at best, does not come out as good as the one you have. the sprayer nozzle i have is not shaped like yours. I wonder if they make differnt spray nozzles.
The vacmaster failed on it's 2nd use, the water wouldn't shoot out no matter what I did so it went back. Ordered a Bissell spot clean pro hopefully I have better luck with this one.

Hey Josh. For a home DIY guy I am leaning toward the extractor mod you showed that just goes on a wet dry vac. Thanks for the review, Just wondering how is the build quality, I do see ppl are complain about the sides of the plastic tank, the plastic sidewalls are far FAR too thin
I used one of these in my detailing business last summer, and I do not recommend this machine at all. Aside from the obviously terrible extractor head, everything is plastic, making it prone to breaking. The plastic panel that holds the buttons on the head pops off and breaks very easily, leaving the board exposed, leading it to falling out, you losing the battery, or getting debris in the switch. Next, the retainer that holds the sprayer in place near the nozzle is also plastic, so it breaks off easily and won’t spray where you want it. Also, the water line that travels from the pump to the hose is so brittle that within 2 weeks of use it developed several holes and leaks from the hose touching the ground. Speaking of that pump, it’s garbage. The water pump went out on me after 2 months, and I meticulously maintained it and switched the filters often as well. Dumped after every single use too. For how many issues this machine has and how cumbersome it is to use, I would have rather just made a DIY extractor from a Ridgid shop vac, bought a bissell, or saved up for maybe an AquaPro (which I have now)
