Let's create a new generation of educated reptile keepers & animal enthusiasts by spreading the love!
Cracking up, every time the Blackthroats are featured they get a different name, Devo/WhipIt, The twins, now Huff and Puff!
Lol, love it, great upgrade!
Ah yes... many travels through the time tunnel will do that !
Right… it’s driving me crazy… they will always be Devo and Whippit to me! 😂
Put the tortoise shell in the outside enclosure, they seem to like it as a hide! ❤❤❤😊
You should paint the mesh Walls Black on all your cages. It will help you see into the cage better
Jerry's doing that, and it makes a lot of difference
Gorgeous enclosure. The Black Throats are looking happy and healthy, can't wait to see them settle in.
That cage went together so quickly and the stronger gauge makes sense. I love the view of their tube from the inside... it looks like a magical portal to another world... which it is ! Your place already looks like a Botanical Garden .... and it just gets better and better ! PS went to their site and left a Thank You note.
Thanks Sally!
Kenan mentioned a very few videos that "all the animals" especially the soon to be very robust Black throats, soon to be even larger croc monitors and for eventually for updated enclosures for the Amazon caimans and American alligators
@ATx5853 they had to re-home him after he bit Sophie and (I think) another family member. They had worked closely with a trainer but the dog was not a good fit for the family.
Always amazing projects going on at the camp! Love those cages, they have an amazing parrot cages too. Once I settle in one place for a while, I’d like to set one up for my African Grey Parrot!
I love when Kenan compels his lizards to do something.
And "compelling" a smart, well armed lizard is not an easy task !
Proud Daddy watches Puff going back through the door. 😊👍🏻
The outdoor enclosure is awesome!
I know... like seeing your child finally find their mouth with that spoon !
I love how chill Huff and Puff are starting to get with you. I love all the monitors, and love this new set up - you are a leader in husbandry.
Love the long ass videos. Don't know how u don't have millions of subscribers. Best enclosures on yt. Plus the knowledge you have makes it better to watch then any other youtuber. (Gator Chris 2nd) need a collab
Plus, cover the black of the tunnel. Heat in the summer will make that a oven.
Interesting observation ! Kenan may need to cover the outside of the tunnel to reflect light and heat.
All your animals are lucky to have a great caretaker like you
YES indeed !
Could you possibly use some universal rock around the outside of the tunnel? Or some bark or cork? Make it look like a fallen log they can pass through
Great idea!
Awesome idea
That new monitor lizard cage is so amazing. Your father in law and Matt are wonderful for helping. They already look like they love the outdoor extension. It is huge. I can't wait to see how it progresses with landscaping.
And we get to watch as Huff & Puff grow..... until they can't fit through the tunnel... then we play musical cages !
Now that’s how you handle cold spells !!!! If you could have indoor heated areas for every enclosure you would sleep alot better in the winter. I know it’s alot
What gorgeous lizards.
Looks amazing!! I might get one of those enclosures for my cat's patio with a connected tube like that as well!
Go for it!
Lmao! I got the Poltergeist reference! I’m a movie buff. Well done Kenan! Their enclosure is bad a*s!!! Just gorgeous!🦎❤️🦎
Huff n Puff are absolutely perfect names
Great job!! Huff & Puff will love it!!
You’ve got a great indoor-outdoor living space for those beasts! 😻
You go,daddy o 😂😂😂😂 teach your reptile kids 😂😂😂
I keep coming back and watching the build from the beginning. So encouraging... just what I needed today ! That moment when Huff finds the first quail egg, it was magical. He is learning that this new environment is a very good place ... and well worth exploring ! I Also Loved the singing illusion to the old "Rawhide ISong "........... "Rolli'n, Rolli'n, Roll'in.... keep them doggies movin" .....
You should totally continue the rocks around Cayman Creek and have a set of natural stone steps to "step" up into the enclosures. It would complete the naturalistic and botanical look.
Yes... the entire Kamp is becoming one beautiful, interconnected exhibit !
Awesome, you should take a roller brush and paint the outside black, it will make the wire disappear from the outside, making visibility from the outside clearer
Huff and Puff thats good names for them, i love the new cage, it turned out really nice youll be able to see a lot more of there natural behaviours
Wow you always seem to amaze me. You leave me amazed with your last projects and then you go and make an even better one.❤❤❤❤❤👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you!
@@KampKenan Yo 🐕🦺🙌🤠 have you about making a secondary enclosure just for the female black throat or(cause that one you can "enter-lock" and inside have half gravel mesh, with the underground wiring under it,and on their side make it medium soft dirt and under it the wiring. That way the female can learn to dig unless you want to just again same concept 💡🙌 build another enclosure than build a huge laybox fill it medium soft dirt) and only let her in if she's been digging around cause if let her in before she's ready shell go in and dig in all up and not lay anything ..
They will love it. I love it!
"That's hurtin.... for certain" is my quote of the day!
Get some vines growing on the fence where the entrance tunnel is , more rock's with passages to crawl through and a big water feature for them to enjoy and it's a five star living enclosure for them
Kenan, there appeared to be a space between the two log ramp that gets more narrow as they slide down toward the ground. We had an overhead shot, a perspective that you may not have had. Check that space and make sure a toe or limb can't get caught as they slide down. I wouldn't want them to get stuck while you're off doing something else and possibly cause necrosis. You might need to fill that gap in with some foam or something.
"Kenan Harken 😅🤣😂🤠
*They are getting CPU Acclimated* "
One bonus of that cage is that there are enough openings to allow in wild critters for the 2 monitors to feed on/hunt or, at the very least, add a bit of extra enrichment.
Beautiful new cage for two awesome reptiles
Shout out to having amazing inlaws. 👏 ❤
That cage is awesome Kenan!!
It's nice to see the monitor lizards getting a easter egg hunt haha!
Yes... Kenan knows the tastes of his children !
Hope you make an even cooler enclosure for the Argus monitor
You need to name them
!! And that female really likes you, you can tell She doesn’t make noises or try to smack her tail at ya
Could chuck some air plants on the outside of the cages. That would look pretty cool.
That indoor outdoor cage reminds me of the cages Frank Retes built.
Looks great!! but if I could make a suggestion… you should consider painting the silver metal wire black to see through it easier.
Beautiful enclosure! A big piece of drift wood would look really good in that back corner.😮😊❤
Awesome set up for the black throats!
not sure if you thought about it but you should build a support brace for the bottom middle of that tube. that will prevent sagging and if branches hit it the connections won't loosen up.
Could definitely add a few things to that enclosure like some branches and that, maybe another rock cave
Wow, that’s your best enclosure so far.
Slinky has the best I think but this is second best easily.
Good idea could be to get some tree bark to dress the tunnel in so it looks like a fallen hollowed out log connecting the 2 rooms.
Need some shelves up high since he loves that shelf inside he has. Somewhere he can survey his domain. More rock caves as well where he can keep cool on the ground during the summer, as inside will be too hot. Will be exciting to see how it fills in. Well done, I am sure you feel great for them! They are living the life!
thanks for sharing sir kenan.
My pleasure
They have gotten so big. Thanks to Kates dad for helping build their summer home. Great job Kenan.
Awesome enclosure build! I've been waiting for this since you mentioned it a couple of weeks ago. Thank you for taking me along!
That boy is spicy 🌶️ 😂 and perfect names Huff and Puff
Glad to hear you mention adding small drain holes in the pass through tunnel, first thing I thought of when I saw that. Also, I would widen that ramp so they may pass by each other without having to walk over each other. May make it more enticing for them. Good to see it coming along!
It looks fantastic.
Looks Awesome!!! Those monitors have it made
Love the longer videos.
Have you ever looked into pervious concrete for the floors ? You could still use metal screen on the bottom but water would drain through the concrete
The new enclosure is awesome! It will look better in time when you get the plants started and growing!!
Hey your going to find out that corrugated tube will be a lot better when you put drainage holes in it. When they poop 💩 in it you’ll be able to wash it out and not have a mess. My advice on the space between the two structures is to plant your bamboo. Once grown in will hide both structures but also give the appearance of a escape route. Or even the cactus that you feed your animals with. Just my opinion. Love the cages. Oh one more idea place a camera at the opening that you’re able to view from your house. Quick glance to see when cold outside they went in or not.
Slinky motion pictures presents 42 minutes of awesome content at the kamp 👍🏼💯🖖🏼
Slinks is becoming a movie mogul
😂Puff grabs the egg and backs up. Huff & Puff -- babies are HR, Puffen, and Stuff.
Yeah mate that heavy gauge wire looks excellent and definitely the best possible stuff that you could have used. The whole build is awesome and escape proof and probably secure from thieves unless they're super determined which you couldn't stop anyway. That's very unlikely anyway, not a second time.
This is just a beautiful enclosure. You definitely owe your father in law dinner!
That heavier wire looks great! It's going to last twice as long also. Enclosure looks magnificent!! Great job guys! Huff and Puff are the perfect names for those two❤❤
Custom Cages, you guys are number one!!
Love, Love, Love ❤️ the New Cage ❕️👍💯😁
Love this Kenan! Can’t wait till you get more plants and branches in there make it pop some more maybe even a water dish big enough for them to soak in outside!
That's the plan!
HR Puffnstuff; who's your friend when things get rough? Yep, I remember it - I think that was the show with Jimmy and the magic flute (and Witchy Poo). I like Huff and Puff for the dragons' names!
HR Puffenstuff! Love it. Liking Huffa and Puff to.
Absolutely love the cage 😍 ❤😊
Im so excited for this set up and how it'll change over time! such a cool design! I love your builds, you give your animals the best life! Nice job!!
Look amazing can’t wait to see the plants go in it’s a shame that you can’t take the door in the tube off just for the summer and spring to make it easier but now I see it is working fine as I’m typing he went through the door so assume I’m so happy now.❤❤
Excellent job kenan I absolutely love it!
I said when you got them name them huff and puff..or ruff nut and tuff nut from how to train your dragon...or granite and marble..and this enclosure is what I had said to do for butter cup..but enclose it, bring the outside to her..lol nice build...❤
You should plant some grapevines or kiwi vines you can train look cool and provide treats for your turtles
Awesome cage, super build well done!
If it was me I would make the ramp to the far long end of the cage now it is totally divided into two. It will be a pain in the ass to move in the cage. It will give you so much more real estate inside! You can even put something for you to sit on and be with them even more.
They will also feel more secure to not fall off having the cage wire to hold on.
Awesome build!
Black throats are so gentle with eggs 😂
You could cover the pipe with a universal rock tree trunk.
Love your animals Sir more so when it's Black throats day😂🙏🏿.. I really like watching them Black throats and wow that cage is just awesome.
Greetings from Africa Kenya
😊🖤👋🏿
That is a awesome enclosure. Thanks to Kates dad for the help. The monitors are going to love this when it is done.
it's great! build some high selves for them.
You made a awesome enclosure for your black throats great job Kenan
Love huff and puff😂😂😂
A little bit of floor rots out under the soil line? "FREEDOM!"
A wide open door ro an outside area? "Hm. I dunno. How... what?"
Can't wait for them to get bigger. They'll only get friendlier. I love how you give your animals their best possible life
Thank you for the cool video Kenan!! Hope everything is going well!! It's always good to see you!! Stay safe and have a nice day!!🙂
You to Sean!
Thank you!!
How incredibly cool!!! ❤❤
I still think that the lizard with the more tapered head is a female. She needs to be Puff, as in Powderpuff. Your Aquascape pond is looking so clear. Thank you Custom Cages for being such an awesome Kamp supporter! Kenan, I'm just a few years older than you are, and I love all of your pop culture references.
Love it!
been waiting to see this for ages
Maybe a support in the middle of the connecting tube might not be an issue now but possibly when the lizards are full size
Awesome to see the cage finished and the lizards learning and exploring!
I dig the indoor/outdoor option. I’m considering something similar for some lizards.
great cage, great video
Hey I just had a thought, what if we put some pebbles in that tube so its not so slip and slidey for them 🤔 those suncatchers just pop right up! 🤗💜🦖
Top Notch! As always ❤
Thank you! Cheers!
Oh this made my day, I whole long episode on the Balckthroats!! Welcome home Huff and Puff 🖤🖤
Hey Kennon! 👋 checking out your new video and I’m digging those new cages man. I love the tubes. It’s a great idea. cages are solid cool man great job 👍🏻
Ken’s like with the kids come on just go outside and play instead it’s lizards. I love it keep up the good work stay motivated and keep loving reptiles my friend and friends.❤
Thats such an awesome setup!! That's literal goals for sure someday!! Very happy for you and the critters!!
Side note tho, that white DE powder you had on your boots can actually be pretty unhealthy for any animals that come across it so be careful. It's made with a few things but the big dangerous ingredients are Asbestos and fiber glass. So definitely make sure it's cleaned off before going around critters to help prevent any issues. I only know because it's what's used in DE pool filters and I'm a pool tech that handles it everyday. Just a heads up, I love your channel and can't wait to watch it grow even bigger!!!
I'm not sure that it's the same make u😮p but they do also make DE for home use as an insect/ant repellant/pesticide. Maybe that's what Kenan had on his shoes.
@@Riceball01 That's true. Maybe they don't have the same ingredients, definitely something I'd check before the next use tho. But very good point!
Wrapping the corrugated freedom bridge with bamboo would look cool without adding a ton of weight.
I love the cage so much I’m going to get one myself great great job 👏
