Finally, I received my new kayak - Old Town AutoPilot 136. In this video, I took it out on the water for the first time. Believe my words or not, this platform is so versatile and a blast to fish from. I couldn't be more excited to fish out of this boat!

Great vid. SOLD!
Awesome yak
Glad to see you back, enjoy your video’s are very informative. Congratulations on the new kayak.
You sold me. I gonna get one. Glad to see you back doing videos again.
It's so hard not to sound like I'm trying to sell you this kayak. It's just such a refined platform and it works so well. Let me know if you'd like to try it out! (If you're in MI)
Awesome!
So excited man. Having a motor is lights out!
You were on Newburgh lLake on the inflatable kayak video I remember it. And back again with this rig. Very happy to see you back again. I’m a fan...
Yes sir! Always good to be back where I started my kayak fishing addiction. It's very convenient to come out here since it's so close. Appreciate you sticking around and following my journey!
Kayak Outbreak yes agree, so close that and Phoenix
Man I love my Pro angler 12 360 but this idea is really cool!
If you get a chance to try one, definitely do it. Having a motor that works so well just changes everything
Grease up that rod ‘giggity’
When did you leave native? Was it specifically so you could in this boat? It's a sweet setup, love to native modify that motor for their propel cavity
I left Native a while ago. Sold my old kayak over winter to invest into camera gear. I'm trying to work on some content creation for outdoors and fishing brands, and I'm still doing a little tournament fishing.
Awesome videos man!! Been watching a lot. I’m so town between the 120 and 136. Storage and transportation is not an issue. I have 2 boys 3 and 5 and was leaning towards the 136 so I could put them in front of me and take them pan fishing from time to time. I wish I could find somewhere local that has demos to go compare. Do you enjoy having the extra deck space? Not to big is it? Thanks for your feedback and tight lines!
Definitely go for the 136 for extra leg room. I keep a dry bag in front of me for dry storage,so I like the extra room. You can even try adding one seat out back and a little cooler in front of you to use as a seat.
120 you will be tight on room. I think its a simple decision for you! Good luck.
@@KayakOutbreak I have to ask one more question if I may. How is it paddling without a motor. Sometimes me and the wife like paddling down the Canal by our house. Will it ware me out any more vs a 120? Lastly it definitely looks more stable than the 120 for trolling docks while standing. You’re able to stand more sideways and not worry about tripping your self up. Thanks again for helping me make the best decision possible. I truly do think you have the best videos out there on this boat!
I've never been in a 120, so I haven't tried paddling in. I think you will have similar results paddling them both. The weight difference is not that big, and 136 still has a sharper bow. Honestly, I think the 136 is like .1-.2mph faster. They're not fun to paddle, but very manageable. Any large kayak, especially those designed for pedal drives, won't be efficient paddling kayaks.
In short, you will be just fine paddling it once in a while.
Again, I've yet to try the 120, but from what I've been reading and seeing online the 136 is noticeably more stable. I can definitely stand sideways without much thinking about it. Even turning around 180⁰ is no problem. 120 would be little more tippy and turning around would take more caution. Its not bad, but definitely less.
Hope this helps! Keep asking anything that comes to mind. I'm happy to help.
@@KayakOutbreak I actually do have one more. Since I’m pretty sure I’m going with the 136. What batteries are you running and what kind of times do you get?
Awesome yak bro!!! What did you do with your Titan 12?
Sold it over winter
question.... does the motor seem loose in the mount, like does it move around in waves or is steering at low speeds a little difficult because motor drifts?
My motor seems solid so far. The waves or current doesn't seem to affect it. Theres a wave slap effect that some rudders experience, but that doesn't seem to affect the motor. The motor starts vibrating once it gets tangled in a lot of weeds, but that's about it. It's solid!
I just got mine, waiting on the same battery for mine, did you receive it yet?
Got mine long time ago. Its perfect!
Wich is better the 136 or the 120 for freshwater ponds or lakes ?
I have not tried the 120, nor have I seen it in person, but from my understanding the main difference of choosing the 136 will be slight top speed increase, better offshore performance, a bit more stability and little more deck space. Both are extremely maneuverable.
If you think you don't need those benefits, you will not go wrong with 120.
Do you think I should go with the 120 or the 136
Extra deck space is a one of the biggest differences. If you have the space for it and the length doesn't bother you, then I don't see any other reasons to choose 120. Weight difference is minimal. I do believe 136 is tiny bit quicker. Both will be super maneuverable.
Maybe if you are roof topping, then 120 would be a bit easier.
But these should be the main points you should consider. Hope it helps!
@@KayakOutbreak okay yeah I'm still deciding which one I'll go with. So far I'm between those two kayak. I do know that the 120 I can put it in the roof of my cat. But with the 136 I might need a something
Can you roof top a 136
@@edgars00789 I'm sure you could, just need to know your limits and the limits of your roof rack. The weight difference isn't big, but when you're always putting the kayak on the roof it might make a difference. Jusr think it through and hopefully you'll make the right decision
@@KayakOutbreak okay thank you
