Wow that is amazing. I’m starting med surg in one week. I’m going to pick up my books next week, print the syllabus and get a head start. All these months, I’ve never read the objectives. I would just jump head first into the chapter. I strongly believe that made it difficult for me. I’m going to use your tips on objectives and also your two column notes. The columns look amazing!
Wow thank you so much for this! I’m staring my Bach in nursing in 3 weeks time and I was so lost with how I’m going to organise all my units. Thank you again!
Thank U for this vid❤. Its really helpful for me. I am about to start my nursing school as an int' student. Ur vids guide me through my journey. Thanks a lottt..
HELLO:) this video is really helpful for my future study and I like the background music that you put in. Then, do you always write some comments on the good notes with your lecture, and then make some your own notes to summarise on the google docs again?
It depends, some subjects don’t need very thorough notes so I won’t spend too much time on them. I’ve also started using Notion to organise my notes. I’m hoping to do a new video about it soon 😊
Hey love the video definitely inspired me for my nursing notes! where did you get the plain orange dividers from and yellow ones? i’ve been looking everywhere
Does it take you longer time to take the notes and organize them? Do you find enough hours to study while having well organized notes? Sorry! I am just asking cuz sometimes it takes me very long to takes notes and i get tired and then stop in taking notes but just rely on printing the slides and having lots of paper.
That’s such a good question! Overall I think if writing up beautiful notes becomes a chore then it’s not worth it. It’s all about efficient study. For me I found I became pretty quick at writing up notes in this way, but for other people I’m sure it won’t be. Printing the slides and writing directly on them is also a very good way to take notes too! You do whatever you do best!
Hi, I'm just about to go into my 2 semester first year and was looking for a better way to take notes as first semester I fell behind. As I have dyslexia and a visual learner I think your way may help. I am transferring to take notes on my laptop and iPad and have good notes 5 too. Do you use good notes just for lectures and slides, then google doc to put your notes together?
I try to only read the stuff that I need to. Often there are parts of chapters that I’ve already understood from the lecture, so in those cases I will skip ahead to something that I have identified that I don’t fully understand and go from there. Also, I’d highly encourage you looking at the end of chapter questions, even before you read a chapter. I find it helps me figure out what I don’t know :)

Hi! Do you bring your big folder to uni ? Like for reviewing before an exam. Thank you :)
Yes, sometimes I will! But usually just the content that I want to study, so that I don’t have to carry everything
Super helpful!
Do you ever hand write your notes?

Thx for that video. It helps. How do you read through a med surg book? There is so much, in so little time.
