My Venetian Gold GRISTLE 90 is an absolute treasure. Many of you know that. I will admit, though, that many of my respected colleagues seem to like the *bluer* hues, in both of Greg's Signature models. So be it, friends. In any case, these are amazing instruments! 🔥🙏🏻🔥
Wildwood is spectacular to deal with, great and responsive and I will purchase again from them without thinking. It is rare to find such good people. My experience with Reverend is however another thing. Absolute refusal to accommodate me with something simple with a new purchase. Luckily I could purchase the Gristlemaster I needed used eventually, but Reverend wasted years of my time being completely dismissive, evasive and unaccommodating. Wont buy from them or put in a good word for them, ever again.
@@mrmelon708 Standoffish, then ignores further correspondence regarding the request. Awful. To their credit Reverend is one of the few american guitar companies who do not ransack their customers, but they have no clue how to deal with customers. Very much "my way or the high way approach". They lost my business, no turning back. I did get the gristlemaster I needed second hand though after a couple of years waiting. Enormous guitar, one of the best telecasters I owned. Greg sure knows what is needed for a good guitar. Wildwood sure know what they are doing also, and have to do special runs to fill the lackey holes left by the Reverend CS and product development it seems. This is my LAST Reverend guitar I will buy. Paoletti, Kiesel and ESP always at least listens and dont just abandon you and always gives a plausible reason, so I went that direction for gigging guitars. My huge initial interest due to Greg's great effort regarding Reverend was completely destroyed once I had to deal with the indifferent Clergy and their altar boys at "Reverend"
@@mrmelon708 My long detailed reply to you was seemingly blocked by youtube as it is most likely "too negative", and rightly so. I am not going to rewrite all that as it just disappeared. For the record, Wildwood is spectacular, so is Greg, so is the price/quality of Reverend guitars, but the Reverend Customer Service is down right appalling and they lost me forever. The Gristelmaster is the LAST Reverend guitar I will buy. I will stick to Paoletti/Kiesel/ESP for gigging. They know how to deal with customers.

Could you elaborate on your experience?

How about a rosewood fingerboard for the Gristlemaster?
Greg prefers maple.
Descending lick four bars long. Miles would love it.
Good lord there’s two of them…
fat and flavor... the name of my new band
I have a spare kidney that I'm willing to exchange for a Gristle 90...... Any takers???
Yep. Greg sure can't play. That other guy sucks too!
