- Steering off-road can be a challenge, especially if your front axle has a locker. Thankfully, there's an easy fix for your steering woes. Check out how we transform our 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon's steering system with PSC Motorsports Big Bore XD cylinder-assist JK steering system.
Awesome video! It was cool to see you in a video Ali. I’ve been reading your articles for a long time. Looks like a cool place to wheel as well!
Thank you!
Thanks! That was mostly filmed at a place called The Flats here in North Carolina.
Definitely gonna be doing this down the line!
Full turning at low speeds left to right (or vice versa) Like in a parking lot. Does the steering get heavy on you? Thanks for the video!!
It's super easy to steer at low speeds on or off the pavement.
Does the return to centre still function the same?
Thanks for posting this
I recently saw a install on a wrangler JL. He installed it in his garage.
Wait, does this get rid of the steering stabilizer?
Do you still need a damper if you install that?
No. It's not necessary with the ram.
God bless you jaime
Looks like the tie Rod bracket is flexing or loose.
Not sure what you are seeing. We've run this setup for over three years now without an issue.
Hi amigo ,watt tire side you Ronning
It's a 37x12.50R17 Nitto Ridge Grappler
I just put hydro assist on my jeep i see no diferent what so ever. hwy still the same steering feeling im very disappointed!😠😠😠
That's odd. It's very much so night and difference for us. The highway feel shouldn't be extremely different as too sensitive of steering at highway speeds could be incredibly dangerous. Ours feels somewhat like a heavy duty steering stabilizer on the road. It's very tight and on-center. We can literally turn our wheel with a single finger with the front end full locked off-road. Without knowing anything about your rig, it's hard to say what other factors you could be dealing with.
Do you have any air in the lines?
