FILM DESCRIPTION:
FBI agent Matt Graver calls on mysterious operative Alejandro Gillick when Mexican drug cartels start to smuggle terrorists across the U.S. border. The war escalates even further when Alejandro kidnaps a top kingpin's daughter to deliberately increase the tensions. When the young girl is seen as collateral damage, the two men will determine her fate as they question everything that they are fighting for.

I love the way he casually gets out of the truck, does a subtle 180 and then gets into position to open fire. You can tell they went through legit weapons training to get the action scenes to look good.
Only unrealistic part is that he doesn’t keep looking down his site after he fires on the cops. You would def want to keep your rifle on target after initiating a firefight

Sloperator Medic well you always see humvees driving somewhere in the middle east and they have no good roads so it will be bumpy. See there was some good roads there.

Depends if the wheels are actually balanced, but I've had them up to 80mph. As far as even going that fast, those might have the 4l80e transmissions vs the 3l80, which will certainly help. They don't appear to be the 6.5 turbo though.
Especially USMC hummers, I think they are the originals from the civil war.
Jeffrey Donovan's character here, Steve Forsing, is gotta be my favorite character here. Dude's wearing thick black plastic glasses, looking like an accountant or salesman, yet just as badass as Del Toro and Brolin.
Exactly my thoughts...Donovan,Brolin and Del toro all look perfect with gun in their hands..

Serious question for a minute. If the cops and military were set loose on the gangbangers in places like Chicago for even a week, what would the crime rate look like? I'm talking free rules of engagement.
It would look like a warzone because no fight is ever clean like in the movies. You see how it looks like with countries when they fight ISIS it will look like that there.
Initially highly successful operation. Then all gangbangers disappear and make sure they look like everybody else. The authorities have a hard time time selecting targets accurately. Several innocent people are killed accidentally by the authorities. People start sympathising with the gangbangers. Locals who wouldn't normally be a problem, but have lost family members/ friends to authority attacks, start ambushing and killing members of the authority teams. The authorities become scared and paranoid, kill more innocents because of this. More locals kill authority members. And so on and so on. Literally every occupation of one country by another follows this pattern. Something that unfortunately ISIS and Al Qaeda are adept at exploiting in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Chechnya and Saudi Arabia.
Yea, you unleash on every dude with a gold chain, and a grill they'd stop wearing it and then start looking like people you don't expect. You could start targeting by race but again the fight would get extremely messy. You're better off just setting up a huge million dollar surveillance system and placing a checkpoint at every corner in a bad neighborhood. You'd save a lot more money, you saw how much we had to spend to kill Farmers..

Say what you will in comparison to the first film. This movie was still pretty solid. I always thought they perfectly nailed the portrayal of clandestine operatives. These guys are so badass they patch themselves up like getting wounded is no big deal at all.
Well, in the unit I was in they used to say that if you can't see your guts, you're fine.
I'm willing to bet most are ex-special forces, so it really is no big deal.
+sonrouge Im almost certain these guys are Delta operators. Looks like the same outfit in the first film that gunned down anyone in their path without taking any fatal casualties.

@@diviknigam8572 basically to use lights and sirens. Theyre approaching in code 3, meaning they have lights/siren in an attempt to make a stop, as opposed to just a random police vehicle approaching.

The script was messy and the atmosphere was nowhere near as good as in the first one...Even the characters such as Brolin's and Del Toro's didn't leave a strong impression. Camera work and photography are the upside of this movie but overall it was pretty disappointing
Raph Raph it was as solid as the first. If you didn’t understand the plot or the sub plots and how they come together, then maybe you weren’t paying attention close enough. I watched it one time, at first I was confused, but the ending explained everything. The music, lighting, camera work, acting, and lines were perfect. This movie is honestly better then the first movie, don’t be so closed minded

Scene from 1.46 is one of the most powerful scenes in cinema history. Girl is about to be abducted, when he is immediately put down with a bullet to the head. She then realizes she has cheated certain death and looks at a man she still knows nothing about. He tells her to get in the car and that nothing is going to happen to her, removing his sunglasses, so she can look at his eyes.She sees something in him that she can trust and makes the decision from that point , he is telling her the truth.Her eyes tell the whole story.
