There's rumors of a third Sicario movie. Frankly a Matt Graver, Alejandro, Steve Forsing movie would be great all on it's own, they are such great characters.

Definitely a "steal his look" comment
The bit with the picket fence and the fact his face has a bullet hole in it, feels like a massive nod to the Coen brothers, which this movie as awesome as it is would not exist without No Country
When I first saw this movie I swear I thought those sand clump were his brain matter because they look eerily similar. I feel like the director did that on purpose

What is the plot of these movie?
I keep hearing a Sicario/Soldado 3 is in the works. All of these characters can be developed further into some unique story lines that parallel this series or into it. I think even a prequel would be worth seeing.

Who shut the car engine off? Because it was running, and the driver stop for the Black Hawk, then immediately shot. then everyone else killed. The car was off like it ran out of gas when he found it.

I do feel sympathy for the people who're dragged into gangs and cartels to try to survive. I do. I say this from a very VERY privileged point of view. I won't EVER have to deal with this.
But this is a truth of life that all people, men, women, and children need to accept and understand.
You always have a choice. Sometimes that choice is death. But it is a choice.
Some choose to give in and live and make life worse for others. Only you can make that choice for yourself.
Some choose to fight and die trying to make life better for others. Only you can make that choice for yourself.
But when you're standing in the back of a truck, being executed by the guys who are fighting to make other people's lives better, because you chose to join the gang instead of fight back, you only have YOURSELF to blame. YOU made the choice. This isn't a judgment. It's just reality.
The people who're inundated and controlled by ruthless gangs made a choice to let them operate. If the people stood up, and risked death, they would win. It would require the ultimate sacrifice, but they'd win.
I pray I never have to make that choice, for I fear I too may be a coward. But every day you choose not to fight back, you're choosing to be a coward. That goes for all of us, in every fight.
