first was amazing and this one tried real hard but didn't understand the spirit of the first and that's what it was a meh movie with a couple cool scenes.
Matt, played by Josh Brolin, uses a Daniel Defense M4A1 with a foregrip, Magpul PMAG, tan EOTech 553 sight, and SureFire M720V RAID light as his main weapon of choice, as he did too in the first movie. He also uses the Condor Compact Plate Carrier.
There's rumors of a third Sicario movie. Frankly a Matt Graver, Alejandro, Steve Forsing movie would be great all on it's own, they are such great characters.
The actor with glasses really existed, he was a very smart and professional CIA agent. He took part in military operations in many places. In other videos they talked about him, not that it was secret, but simply that he retired and really existed. He was really cool and professional.
JR - So you don't know what he did. You just listen to the commentator on the video. And the CIA is everywhere. You didn't think that they were all on their own, did you? They will never tell you who is a CIA agent and who is not. And these operations are DEFINITELY special, and not stupidly military.

The bit with the picket fence and the fact his face has a bullet hole in it, feels like a massive nod to the Coen brothers, which this movie as awesome as it is would not exist without No Country
When I first saw this movie I swear I thought those sand clump were his brain matter because they look eerily similar. I feel like the director did that on purpose Note: Not in this scene, it’s where he first woke up, before the shot where the helicopter flew above him.
I keep hearing a Sicario/Soldado 3 is in the works. All of these characters can be developed further into some unique story lines that parallel this series or into it. I think even a prequel would be worth seeing.
yes they do in the big picture. because eventually they leave and those you were fighting against remain. its one of those where they will lose all battles but win the war.
Thebcartels know their territory. They know every hill, every valley, every village. Just like the Vietcong. And they'll go to guerilla warfare like the VC.
That firing line at 1:00.... That has to be a nono-line through the blades of the other chopper or at least too close. But it is a movie. Excellent one actually.
everyman has had his days where he felt just like brolin and benicio . vengence for your loss and nothing left to hold on to except your tenacity to keep breathing.

3. gelmeyecek...Ben esasen Havier Bardem 'in efsane oyunculuğu ile harika bir film olan "No country for old man" filminin bitişinin filmin ikincisini hayal ettirdiğini düşünüyorum..Josh Brolin de filmi yukarı çekmişti..
I do feel sympathy for the people who're dragged into gangs and cartels to try to survive. I do. I say this from a very VERY privileged point of view. I won't EVER have to deal with this. But this is a truth of life that all people, men, women, and children need to accept and understand. You always have a choice. Sometimes that choice is death. But it is a choice. Some choose to give in and live and make life worse for others. Only you can make that choice for yourself. Some choose to fight and die trying to make life better for others. Only you can make that choice for yourself. But when you're standing in the back of a truck, being executed by the guys who are fighting to make other people's lives better, because you chose to join the gang instead of fight back, you only have YOURSELF to blame. YOU made the choice. This isn't a judgment. It's just reality. The people who're inundated and controlled by ruthless gangs made a choice to let them operate. If the people stood up, and risked death, they would win. It would require the ultimate sacrifice, but they'd win. I pray I never have to make that choice, for I fear I too may be a coward. But every day you choose not to fight back, you're choosing to be a coward. That goes for all of us, in every fight.
Who shut the car engine off? Because it was running, and the driver stop for the Black Hawk, then immediately shot. then everyone else killed. The car was off like it ran out of gas when he found it.
Nah, bro, quit dreaming. Too many drug addicts in this country, we're even producing drugs in our own backyards, meth labs. People be trying to meet the demands, again too many people love to juice up on the regular. Let's face it, we're one big drug addicted population.
Huge fans of Benicio del Toro and Josh brolin, absolutely loved both sicario movies.
hope there is a part 3 or 4.
Hated the ending in 2 but there is talks of 3 coming. They need to bring back the director from the first one.
im hoping for a thrid this movie was bad ass
If only America could treat the cartels like this.
things is
we can, easily
but we are terrified of being called "meanies"
As soon as the money runs dry. Just like they do with celebrities. Diddy's getting caught up in an almost a decade old blackmail tape.
Democrats and their CIA funding operation aren't having that...
I'm sure it's all business to them
USA is the biggest cartel in Mexico trust me
Nothing scarier than a CIA operative that doesn’t care if you see his face
CIA, Spooks an Moles, These guys operated in Vietnam, Iraq an Afghanistan. Water Boarding an Torture for Intel.
I mean you won't live to tell the tale if they come unmasked⚰️
Brolin went scorched earth here. I love this scene.
Good thing Kate wasn't there.

The frustration and anger his voice because he believed his friend had been killed. So apparent.
@@DC22312 Yep. I hope they finally green light the last and final movie. He is gonna be shocked to know that Alejandro is still alive.
Exactly
The third edition is long overdue. It will kill it in theaters number one guaranteed.
I don't expect Hollywood will tolerate a movie like this being produced or released until 2025.
Let's not excite the "deplorables."
Third episodes don't tend to do as well as the first and second ones (like the Godfather).
That said, I'd like to see them try.

Sicario : Cartel Strikes Back?
Better get it made quick these guys are getting old.
That part where brolin orders the cartel thugs in the back of the pickup truck to stand up and then have them all shot is brutal.
murdering unarmed people with their hands up, definitely the CIA

Mike Vining. read about it yourself.
No, it was Sgt. Michael Vining, as my fellow poster commented. He was not CIA but a Delta operator.

It's very rare to see Hollywood create good movies anymore, but both Sicario movies are OUTSTANDING!
That background noise, the drone, the wind instruments! powerful stuff!
Jóhann Jóhannsson did such a great job on the score.

@royaltoadclub8322 its a reference to Fargo, the whole movie wouldn't exist without No Country
@royaltoadclub8322 the hole through the face and the fence is very Steve Buscemi in Fargo

Between his Marvel characters and this one, Josh Brolin is doing some great acting roles these past years.
You should watch him in No country and American gangster, he’s great in those films.
@supakoen2892 No Country is better than all his movies, this movie as good as it is has taken the feel from that

As long as he continues to play the exact same guy as he always does.

I'm still waiting on the third movie. "So you want to be a sicario? Let's talk about your future."
Both movies were fantastic, but this one was the best.
Cartels dont have a chance against US Special Forces, SEALs, Delta. CIA.
Tell that to kike Camarena ex CIA killed and torture by cartels
They don’t need to have a chance. They just buy lobbyists on K Street and spread the money around to our elected officials.

Pretty nice newly paved roads for a brutal scenery. Construction crew just got done with the pavement before this scene was shot.
