Does the energy affinity and/or frame type of the shotgun you use matter? I only have a Basso Ostinato, Adept Mindbenders from last season, and a Matador with the perk.

I said Bungie has been working with scammers for over a year and lying to us with accusations against scammer companies, they only do it to trick us all again into believing something is being done about scammers, I'm giving up this game, I I'm not a cheater and I get threatened in ways I can't prove because cheaters pay for hacks and they make you even more money than the DLCs

I really love this build. It demolishes everything on the field and the double special is a huge perk too. Also if you’re in a GM or somewhere that has champions, you can swap the pulse grenade for a flashbang since you’d be able to jolt with your punch (plus, with lethal current, your punch is already a mini grenade). So you can easily stun both Unstoppable (blind) and Overload (jolt) champs and equip Arbalest for the Barriers
EDIT: Forgot there’s a mechanic in the aspect where if you power melee a jolted enemy it blinds them, so you don’t really need the blinding grenade

Yea but it's still great just to get the ball rolling. Sometimes it's hard to get started cause the enemies are too beefy or there's too many close together. Throwing the flashbang makes it safer to run into a group of enemies and also softens them up so you can one shot with your first combination blow instead of repeatedly whittling down their health till they're in range for combination blow to proc
The way you explain how all abilities, fragments, and aspects work and synergize is unmatched. Hands down some of the best build videos I've seen!

I've been a Warlock main since the D1 alpha. Stumbled across your videos and found them not only extremely informative and concise, but also entertaining and simplistic. I built this Hunter and with minimal effort, I was able to solo clear the Avalon mission. Thank you for turning me on to a different style of play and a different character altogether. I will be building all my subclasses with your info and loadouts.

Ran an Assassin’s Cowl Arc build all last season. Never used anything else. Not only was it good, it was fun to use since you could really get in the thick of things with it. Ran a one-two punch shotgun with it. Looking forward to trying this build since I’ve mostly been running a void build this season. Thanks for the vids.

Thank you!! I saw someone using this build to solo the exotic mission from this season, but they didn’t go into much detail when they showed the mod loadout. This is extremely helpful!
For those wondering, the only shotguns that roll with One Two Punch and Surplus are Found Verdict, One Small Step, and Retold Tale. Out of these, I recommend Retold Tale as it is pretty easy to just run through Dreaming City activities. Or at least easier than Vog and One Small Step is a Rapid Fire Frame.
Edit: Hand in Hand also rolls with both, however after having messed with this build for longer, Retold Tale is still probably your best bet.

I really like how you explain the function and gameplay as you go. I understand it much better than other channel videos that run through all the great/mod setup first, then try to explain the layered actions and bonuses.

Graverobber is so convenient with one-two punch as you can keep your shotgun out when running around and always have full ammo ready :)

@@MALICIOUS330 The Ikelos shotgun has graverobber 12punch too! If you have the pattern you can craft it.
@@Zerphion Ikelos has a tighter spread and faster handling, I use that one or my trusted wastelander with 1-2 punch, depending on if energy or kinetic slot is free.
@@Zerphion and ikelos has enhanced one-two punch. not that you need to worry about missing any pellets when you're invisible and can get close enough to stick your fingers in their mouth

Arc hunter with assassins cowl was my very first build I figured out. And to see a video about it in more depth is insane. Thank you for enhancing the experience. (Also that emblem looks sick)
The build was one the best builds along side HOIL storm grenade titan during season of plunder so this build isn’t particularly anything new

I first got this build from your "how to solo shattered throne on any class" video, and that one still holds up! That said, I'm very pleased to have an updated version so that I can eliminate all reasons for failure except skill issue. When you copy only parts of a build you never can be quite sure where the shortcoming is from. I did solo my first dungeon with the earlier build, but haven't been able to flawless yet.

I never once considered playing arc on a Hunter until I watched your previous videos prior to Lightfall. Ever since then, I've been an arc Hunter main having the time of life in Destiny. I took a break from arc to try out your strand Hunter build and I've been having a blast with that too. Now I think I need to give arc another go after watching this haha.
I've always been a solar hunter, but I'm gonna give this arc build a try. Looks pretty devastating and I'm always expected to carry when I'm playing with friends lol

Wow! This looks like such a good build to try out. I've mostly been playing Arc and Strand this season. Most ppl sleep on Arc but it's one of my favorite subclasses especially warlock which people don't like but I do.
Arc is pretty bad lol 😂 less synergy when comes to builds

Been using Assassin's Cowl arc hunter build like this since Arc 3.0. The only issue I have with it is that sometimes randoms/teammates kill too many enemies, making it a little harder to keep combination blow x3 up all the time. And that getting the loop started in harder activities can be annoying, making teammates ruining my x3 combination blow stacks more of a problem.
This exactly . It's better as a solo as you can control what's going on easier
This is exactly why I use liar's handshake, as it makes it easier to restart stacking up combination blow in harder content
@@Giavel84 the problem with liar's in you dont have the survivability that Assassin's Cowl gives you and in most GMs you wont want to be in punching range
@@jacobmccauley1553 the good thing about liar's handshake is that it gives you chunks of health back when you punch, even if you don't kill the enemy. This is something that cowl doesn't do. Regarding GM's, honestly I'm not able to make use of this build there, no matter what exotic I bring, cowl or handshake. For this type of content I find more suitable builds like the gyrfalcon or the aeon swift.

As someone who is not very experienced with the hunter class and was looking for a new class and experience, and was looking for a fun and effective hunter build, I am impressed. This was laid out and explained in a way that I found easy to digest and understand, and got me excited to play with the hunter class. Mactics. You and plunderthabooty are the best at explaining and builds and I’m grateful for these guides. Helps tremendously. It’s about the only way you can actually feel like a guardian. Without these I feel like I am one melee and a shot to the toe away from needing a revive

Been running arc with assassin's cowl since last season. It's a beast. Genuinely surprised bungee was able to make arc hunter viable.
Great vid as always. Will tweak my current build slightly to go with your suggestions.
I found a way to make this build even more powerful. Since you are already making loads of orbs of power and picking them up, why not use something like wavespitter and a void grenade launcher to abuse volatile rounds as well. Makes this build 2x as powerful when using two of the most powerful effects in the game.

Good Vid, but u need to show this in a legend or master lost sector cause the build doesnt work in endgame, since they nerfed one two punch....once the red or yellow bars have to much health to one- or twoshot ur dead...little bit better with liars handshake. But in general not worth running anymore over other builds...sadge

Assassins cowl is one of if not my favorite hunter exotics as a titan main and im always overjoyed to see others cooking up crazy builds with it. Will definitely be playing this build asap

@@azrael8305 Excuse me? WEAKER!! I'll have you know hunter is best class! Titans can only punch stuff, and most of what made warlocks unique is now accessible to all classes through fragments.

Never done this before when prompted but I subscribed when you asked. I played 16 hours of D2 when it first came out. I played nearly 1600 hours in D1 while working full time and putting myself through college. Literally just re-downloaded it 2 days ago and I’m struggling to catch up to how this game works now.
