I met Taylor (USA) in 2017 during my time in Bishkek while teaching English in exchange for FREE Russian classes. I had had an interview with him but then I lost the audio file by the time I was going to edit our talk.
I had to let that go even though he had given probably the best interview at the time being and before.
Afterwards, we both travelled around the world and we hardly talked to each other. It was like this until late 2018, when my path led back to Bishkek. Just 20 km away from the Kyrgyz capital, on the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border I nodded to fellow travellers as a sign of brotherhood.
As we slowed down Taylor spotted me and from then on we were blown away by the chances that over a year passed and met just a heartbeat away from the exact spot where we did last time.
Eventually, he introduced to his girlfriend, Detti (Hungary) and from then on we kept on hanging out in Bishkek as well as hosting them in Kazakhstan.
