    I Love how all these lighting companies make terrible demo vids for their products. You always gotta find one of their customers on YT who've made a video. THANK YOUUUU!!!!!🙏🙏🙏

      Yeah, it's just all kinds of wrong that we have to spend the money for the product, and then go out of our way to spend more money and time and hassle to convince other potential customers to buy the product, lol!.

    Any tips for getting started using DMX for the first time? As of now I have one cheap china moving head light, I'd love to do a programmed light show to music set up for my Halloween display / party. If DMXing goes well I'd be happy to purchase more lighting units.
    I'm looking for a simple to use device / software, preferably something that does not have to be connected to my computer as I don't want to leave it out in the garage.

      You can put them in auto mode and sound activate so you dont need a program ... i ise dmxis by entec its very spendy and time consuming but i absolutely love wjat i can accomplish with it .

    My band bought these lights and so far we really love them! I wanted to ask you if there is a way to get the heads indexed properly sometimes we start them up and 3 lights will index correctly starting where expected but, sometimes 1 or 2 of the lights may start pointing in the incorrect direction by about 5-15 degrees? Thank you!

    • @BWLightGuy
      @BWLightGuy  4 роки тому

      If you have the manual theres a way to slow the movement down enough so they dont get out of index. I had this problem as well.

    I just got 4 of these. Is there a way to program and control these without using the “shows” or sound mode to trigger them? I want to use them to do very specific things in different scenes. I have a Rockville 384 control board. I have only been able to figure out how to control the pan and tilt...I can’t even get a light to turn on when in program mode. Very frustrated. Thank you.

    • @BWLightGuy
      @BWLightGuy  3 роки тому +1

      Yes figuring out the channels is frustrating but you can learn it with much patients. Get the manual it came with and start with channel one which is probably the dimmer . The dimmer must be all the way upand the light channel must be up as well .I wish we could post pictures here in the comments . 😪

    I just got 4 of these and I’m very impressed so far. The only thing I can’t seem to do is get them to react to sound. I’m assuming the master is the only one which needs to be in sound mode and I’ve turned the sense up to 100. Still not getting any real reaction, just seems to do it’s own thing. It’s in a room with home cinema rather than a big rig like yours but it’s not far from a speaker. Any ideas appreciated.

      I’ve got 4 of these mounted to the ceiling in my basement. They look good. All of the show modes seem to favor the open gobo and lots of white and red. I’ve ordered the MyDMX to get some more control over these. There’s some gobos and colors in there’s that I’ve only seen very briefly in these auto modes!
      I originally had the U King version of these which had better gobos but weren’t as bright and didn’t have the Slave 2 mode.
