Glad the price came down, got one back in 2015 and it was 130usd! Only thing I did not like about it was(other than the old price) I did not like the DMX channel layout. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for watching. I am always interested in any stage lighting/lighting effects. I have not used anything with an RJ45 port. If you want to send me something and something that I can experiment with... Let me know. :) - Kris
Thanks for the review. I'm an audio guy, and I needed something simple & sound activated for a backyard party to spice things up. Never heard of Tomtop. Great site too. Ended up with 2! Thanks again.
I just bought one of these lights but i have no clue how to use my computer to program it, I have a SUSHI DS DMX controller, my only issue it trying to find the right brand and the starting address.
Probably wont find the brand. You will have to create a PROFILE. It is pretty easy. If this is the first fixture you are adding sinply use dmx address 001.
@@AWAWAWAWAWAWAWAWAWAWAWAWAWAWA I am not familiar with the software. Is there a pdf of the manual? Link it or email it to me and I will try to help u out.
Hey Kris, bought these a couple years ago and have never been able to find a profile that works with the Chauvet Xpress S/w. The one supplied with the fixture does not work. Just wondering what you used to get it to work with your software?
Hi, thanks for watching. I was able to manually create the profile by using the dmx information that was supplied in the manual. Unfortunately this is very common for these lesser known lights.
Basically I bought the venue tetra dmx controller after I watched your review. But because I don't speak " dmx controller language ", found out that my Kinta FX isn't compatible. So I have two options: return the controller or buy some cool lights to control them ( up to 300$ budget) My question, is this light compatible with that controller? Thanks ☺
Sorry that happened. Someone asked me about that light 3 months ago in the Tetra Control comments. It is not meant to work with any moving lights. You can find some in expensive up or washlights that would work great. If you need any help let me know.
@@lukaskonstantin9679 no worries. Anything that is dmx addressable can be made to work with that program as long as you can add its profile info as far as I know.
Thanks for watching....did you watch? Lol. There is no remote, box contents are shown at about 1:25. There is an auto function, but I always prefer dmx.
I just went through all of the menu items and it does not seem that you can lock it to a partial range of movement. Best option is to mount it facing the direction you want to concentrate its beam. So perhaps mounting it so the base is sideways. This way it will never point behind or at you.
They used to run alot of specials. Not sure if the expense of trade has changed that or not. Hope everything goes back to normal. Dont think anything will change anytime soon unfortunately.
THAT is not rael dmx cable if you cut trhugh it you can see three wires Brown, blue and yelow, and writings 300/500 v so that is also electric cable for 50 wat apliences like light,
Great video. Enjoy watching your videos. Keep them coming. Take care😷😷😷

Kris just ask for a thumbs up. Do you really need to know if we hated it? I like all your videos.
lol.. thanks.
Probably useful for pup party's or something like that's very good light for the monney and free shipping.
Hi Kris, is RJ45 port for DMX ok for your usage? we have some nice lights, I should DM you

thank you for your vlogs this so kawaii
Will one of those mixer things do it with 2 beams?
Hi, thanks for watching. Are you talking about a dmx controller? Yes.
i have them but struggling for them to reach on the dance floor. they are pointing down too much. Which controller is the best for these?
Thanks for watching. Any dmx controller will help with a little programming you can point them anywhere the movement allows.
This wont work to sound only? Or jusr dmx?
They have a sound active mode as pointed out in the video as well as 2 auto programs. You can use those or connect for dmx control.
Thanks for the review.

Not sure what magicQ software is... this is a dmx able unit.

Hi, may i know.. can this light set to be inverse to each other if we using two unit master and slave?
Yes you can. On the display you will go to rPoF and rToF. These will flip X and Y movement. Thanks for watching.

Thanka for watching. No these do ot have a remotw function. But you can always control them remotely with some wireless dmx. Lol

What DMX software do you use for programming?
Eclipse from Blizzard Lighting. It might be discontinued. I hear it is similar to Lucid.
