"It seems to me that you're a bad winner. You know, you shouldn't put down a loser, Cindy because you might be one yourself someday." That was a good advice that Carol gave to Cindy.
Yeah, that was the only part that bugged me. They wouldn't film the whole show at once without taking breaks, and at the first break one of the chaperones would have tried to talk to Cindy to see if she could continue. And if not, they would have had alternate students available to take her place. I always thought this would have been a better episode if Bobby had been chosen as an alternate, and then when Cindy couldn't continue, refused to take her place and suggested someone else do so, so he wouldn't hurt his sister's feelings.
LOL, how true. Greg the future MLB pitcher, Peter the hero, Bobby the safety monitor, Marcia the Shakespeare actress, Jan most popular girl and of course Cindy the quiz show star.
When any of the Brady kids got a notion in their head they just forged ahead regardless of consequences. And then the parents - or their siblings - had to bring them back to normalcy.
Look at Marcia and Jan’s hair; OMG!! I remember my hair being down to my butt in middle school!! Whoa😳 Marcia and Jan’s dresses are so far out. ℹ actually would totally wear Marcia’s dress, NOW!! I like Cindy’s ego trip. It’s cool and shows that she has high self esteem and is confident about herself and her abilities. ✅Mate!! Bullseye🎯!!! 1:07
Spoiler: After all this ego trip, when they got the kids seated and the camera went on, Cindy froze and wasn't able to answer any questions. Just sat there staring at the camera.
....WHAT did you say!?? (1:28) ....Carol had to straighten her OUT...(1:45) ....not unlike Jan's & Marcia's HAIR, though! (0:55) ...It's FABULOUS....much like Peter's BLOUSE, too! (2:49) ....ha-HAA!!
@@nassauguy48 I agree.. Cindy earned the right to have ego, she did well enough to get on the show.. this episode is funny because a lot of adults if they got the chance to be on tv would act like Cindy hahah.
Robert Reed said it is awkward to refer to the movies in a movie. He argued that when he refused to allow his character to say, "I don't know a thing about acting."
I don't know why Cindy asked her siblings if they wanted to go to the studio with her. From the looks of it, only the parents were in that little group, so each kid probably received only two tickets.
Cindy acted totally ridiculous after she won the spot for the quiz show. If I was Carol, I would have said this to her: “You need to get a better attitude young lady, or you’re going to find yourself not going on that show at all.”
No that was a different episode when she was reading Marcia's diary. Marcia decided to teach her a lesson and wrote that a talent scout was looking for a new Shirley Temple and thought Cindy would be perfect.
The Lassie character is a girl (lassie not laddie) but she was usually played by a male dog, who have thicker coast than females. The Lassie character had puppies several times during the series.
The first Lassie was a female, but then males were cast because they apparently shed less. That is why Bette Davis said "Joan Crawford has slept with every male star except Lassie!"
“You shouldn’t put down a loser because one day you might be one.” is a wild comment 😂
I love the Brady parents

Florence Henderson and Shirley Jones: my favorite 70s TV moms 🙂
"Clowns never laughed before, bean stalks never grew...." 😅
Cindy got a good dose of reality in this one
2 nd time Cindy tried on marcias earrings 1st time was season 4 great earring caper ❤😊

" I never thought my own sisters would be so jealous "! 🙄😂
Me if I was there: “Oh yeah that’s really clever, Cindy. Like your sisters would be jealous of your big head that’s about to fall off any minute.”
The classic “Brady Kid gets an ego” episode 😅
weird how all of the kids were prone to getting out of control egos.
LOL, how true. Greg the future MLB pitcher, Peter the hero, Bobby the safety monitor, Marcia the Shakespeare actress, Jan most popular girl and of course Cindy the quiz show star.
@@kenlompart9905Haha!! I was going to name all of those episodes until I saw your comment. 😂
lol. Is there any experience the ego rise and fall!!??
and why not? They get to recycle the plot five times. This was the dumbest of all six.
One of the best Cindy episodes.
When any of the Brady kids got a notion in their head they just forged ahead regardless of consequences. And then the parents - or their siblings - had to bring them back to normalcy.
Yup, it pretty much happened to all of the kids at least once.

Eve Plumb was the crush, the reason I sat thru it..

I do like Cindy’s hairstyles in this one, and I love Peter’s shirt. 😊
It literally went to her head.
Hard to believe that she turned out to be the wildest one of the bunch.
She was less developed compared to the others when fame happened, so to me not hard to believe how she turned out.
@@christschool Less developed...just the way you like them? :)
But, what happens next ???!! Don’t leave me hanging😂

This episode taught me the capital of Louisiana
Baton Rouge! Baton Rouge!
In real adult life, has anyone needed to know a state capital off the top of their head?
Usually it’s Greg Marcia or Jan with the big heads

Marcia's just pissed off because she's usually the centre of attention.
Exactly! And Cindy IS a star! I am very pro-Cindy in this, to hell with her two wicked and jealous sisters.

Jan and Marsha unite? 🍿

Cindy reminds me of NELLIE from Little House
Just wait till you get a load of Nancy who comes later! She makes Nellie look like a Girl Scout!
Really? Like polar opposites
You got that right!
Cindy Lou who
Lol
She's gonna be the next Shirley Temple.
Well her hair beautiful if I want have glue poor it on her head now her hand will stuck forever 2:32

I thought this was when she dressed up like Shirley Temple, and entertained Mrs. Fletcher.

That IS funny! Cindy always looked infantile, even as she got older.
Mrs Fletcher was Mrs Howell 😊

Marcia and Jan are filling out quite nicely.

Hmmm. I always thought Lassie was a male.
The character Lassie is, but in the old movies Lassie was always played by a female dog so they didn't have dog junk bouncing all over the kids movie.

Of course Lassie doesn't care about looks. All the dogs who played her were male.
Yeah, true.
It didn't matter to the viewers though.
And all the dogs who played Benji were female.
