Can I be honest I watch this episode around 1980 I was only a year old when the show came out in the 69 but wow greatest time of my life and I’ll never ever be happier for me. Drive my British sports car up to my high school girlfriend and then a couple girlfriends later on lol when you’re 16 and driving and picking up girls for a movie and then other things lol let me tell you you’re never gonna be happy than that. I’m in my mid-50s and a great girl, but you will never ever be happier than being 16 years old being with your girlfriend never.
Yes I’m too young to remember the typical social etiquette of early 1970s youth but when I was in high school much later, it wasn’t common for boys in high school to date girls in middle school and those who did would have been looked down on.
I guess some people will say anything to justify getting in a huff. Junior high is not middle school. Middle school is grades 5-6, junior high is 7-9, and high school is 10-12.
