Cindy Brady freezes on live television while competing on a children's quiz show! #BradyBunch | Now streaming on Paramount+ Where to watch: para.mt/BradyBunch
I didn't know that. I think on a lot of shows they would use the cast members' family members in bit roles like this. They did it all the time on "Little House on the Prairie."
@@alondralabute2310 Yes, they also used Sherwood Schwartz daughter, Robert Reed's daughter, Florence Henderson's daughter and Mike Lookinland's brother in some episodes.
Well, he got his own dose of humility already thinking he could ace the test without a single hour of studying, and obviously he learned from the experience.
It was so sweet despite her huge ego earlier and her siblings only wanting to watch her bomb after the way she acted they tried to be supportive afterwards. The Brady siblings get along surprisingly well.
Wow I was an Elementary school kid when this was on TV . But loved watching this every week . I was about 8 or 9 years old when it left in 1974 but they showed it in reruns for a few years . As a pre teen girl I was into Greg ( Barry Williams) & Peter. ❤❤ . Liked The Brady’s more than the competition Partridge Family at the time .
The trophy episode bugged me. The trophies the other kids earned were all based on hard work and persistence. Bobby wanted essentially to be able to do one thing once in order to win one instead of putting in the work that would have been required. He didn't, for instance, practice a sales talk for his magazines or ask his older brother to show him where he went wrong while playing checkers so he could imrpove his next games. He didn't even practice eating ice cream before the contest, where he might have at least learned a few tricks (like favoring the less sensitive side of his mouth or eating from the edge instead of the middle so he could slurp it faster).
Even back then, shows like this would not be taped in entirety without a break. Additionally, there would always be alternates in case anyone got sick, had an emergency, or froze up like Cindy.. Carol and Mike would have been able to speak with Cindy during a break and calm her down, and if she couldn't, there would have been another student to replace her for the rest of the show.
Yes! The whole scene was full of strange direction choices. There was a host podium, but they had him stand in front of it. And did you notice ALL of the questions were done facing Cindy's team? The Woodside team had to have their hands up for a long time before he noticed them! I also found it so strange the host was so full of Game Show energy, but the roomful of parents sat there sat there like it was a library rather than clapping for their kids! BB had a laugh track. They couldn't insert an audio of an audience applauding?
....although we know Cindy got caught in the headlights (2:05), can we talk about how clean, smart, well behaved, well dressed, diverse & POISED the Other Kids are!? (1:21) ..It ain't all about that AT-TIT-TUDE, Cindy....... (1:40) .....
Bobby and Cindy had the best relationship among the siblings. Greg and Marcia always seemed to be competing against each other while Peter and Jan never really had an especially close connection.
In another clip, somebody became really offended when I said they could have done a better job developing Cindy's character as well as her hairdo. I wasn't being mean.
It’s like the Brady siblings were so freaking jealous and pissed😠 at Cindy for being such a stuck up, know it all, totally GORGEOUS GIRLSIE~ that they tied her to a chair, and made her smoke a whole joint of the ganga ALL BY HERSELF~ in 60 seconds, time!!! Whoopsies🤬🚫📛💯♨️💢😡🚷🚯🚳🚱🚭📵🔞❗️❗️⁉️‼️❓🉑📴🈚️🈷️㊗️🈵㊙️💮 0:52
For the few people who don't know the quiz master is Christopher Knight's (Peter Brady's) father Edward Knight.
Thanks. That kind of trivia is so cool.
@@jamesr1703 You're welcome, I'm glad you liked it.

wow! I can totally see the resemblance
Cindy's acting a little Carol Anne-ish from the Poltergeist 😂😂
It was nice of Bobby to cheer Cindy up considering how haughty she had been...
Well, he got his own dose of humility already thinking he could ace the test without a single hour of studying, and obviously he learned from the experience.
Bobby really loves Cindy :)

She has stunning eyes!
We need more families like this nowadays. I think she sufficiently learned her lesson.

This is to Cindy what the trophy-winning episode is to Bobby.

I would have reacted exactly like Cindy 🫣
I really don't feel too bad for her....she got a good dose of reality

Well, this entire game show was shoddily produced. No buzzers or ringers, just a raising of hands? And, like you said, no alternates?
The Brady kids were talking to the television just like I do.
Never get over conversations. U can get Freeze up.
Cindy is lucky to have brother and Sister. To support her
Kids just don't have that kind of attention span to sit there and look at anything that long today.
Wow, all these decades I thought Mike was saying Cindy had "television eyes", not "televisionitis"!
Ha! I remember this. She got her just rewards! With her hair done up like showing off. Then the same thing happened to Alex Keaton on Family Ties! 😂
Surprised each team did not have buzzers to ring in with.
I know, what was up with the raising of the hands? That was so arbitrary, particularly if both sides raised them at the same time.

And that’s why they were invented. 😂😂😂
That was one weird episode esp cindy freezing bc of red light. 😅
I’m surprised no one woke up Cindy during commercial breaks. Maybe she could’ve already beaten Woodside.

She really did look cute. And her hairstyle was very pretty.
Susan/Cindy has the bluest eyes I've ever seen 😮💖
Cindy should have not put all her eggs in one basket.
Bobby and Cindy had the best relationship among the siblings. Greg and Marcia always seemed to be competing against each other while Peter and Jan never really had an especially close connection.
I wonder if her school still won despite Cindy's televisionitis
Yeah, that was never revealed. But it looked as if the other team was kicking ass.
Cindy gets Scared
In another clip, somebody became really offended when I said they could have done a better job developing Cindy's character as well as her hairdo. I wasn't being mean.
Cindy finally falls on her big fat head after being unprepared to be in front of the camera.
Served Cindy right. She was a real egotistical pain in the ass in this episode.
She definitely did but credit the siblings for not making her feel worse than she already did.
