great video, at 3:10, what tool did you use to cut such a perfect small plate? Any other options to buy a plate instead of cutting one from an old gutter?
I want to reroute my noisy downspout to a more accessible location on my gutter line. My petty drop downspout is difficult to get to and I need to remove it from where it is now and install it in another location. What do I need to get in order to seal the petty drop hole that is in my gutter now? Would it just be another piece of gutter sheet metal? Does home depot sell little rectangles of gutter sheet metal? Whatever I put there I will seal it with self tapping screws and OSI sealant. Thanks for the video.
Let me start off by saying that I've watched a lot and learned a lot from your videos in preparation of adding gutters and downspout drainage at my folks house. And for that I thank you! But I think it's wrong that you don't use real anchors in the spots that you fucked up by using the wrong self tapper. It's unprofessional to use a stick as an anchor. While it does work...it's just not professional. I wouldn't have a problem doing that to my home but I wouldn't do that to a customers home.
Oh God, That's a lot of work. You make it look so easy. 🤕What a complicated job , you call easy. 🤣The whole time you were saying this is an easy job for do it yourself ers .I was saying, I don't think so. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
You can't do this in 10 min lol, it takes that long just to get tools together and set the ladder. Not counting the shopping trip for any materials needed.
What an amazing house with lakeside access!
The best video for real

5:23 what was that lizard thing on the wall behind you that runs off lol
No need to clean the surface before using that OSI product?
Excellent video but you are the only person on earth to call it home deppot.😂
It's true
What if the downspout is attached to the sofit instead of a gutter.? Do you do the same but with that material?

Great video like always!
I noticed he didn't screw the petty drop in, he just put sealer .Do I need to put a couple screws in the petty drop?
did the owner put those rocks down to help with water so it doesnt go into the house or was it decoration?
What did you use for the sheet of aluminum that you covered the hole with? I thought you said a gutter but my gutter doesn't have flat sides.
when you cut a hole for the new gutter location, use that piece of gutter you cut to cover the old location's hole
Where did you get the round 2 3/4 petty drop from? Lowes
Ebay
What # screws? #8?
That plate covering the old gutter hole i feel will leak
Did not clean before applying sealant, and the oval allows more water to go through maximizing the water
Strange but that was installed years ago and works great

Leaning against the gutter with a ladder is never a good idea. It’s not safe for you or the gutter.
