There was a privately owned ice cream shop I used to frequent (around 2010). He was a nice man, though from our conversations I knew his shop wasn’t doing too well. After getting my order, I realized I had forgotten my Debit Card and he said to simply pay him back later. With absolute conviction I said I would pay him back today so I wouldn’t forget, drove home, grabbed my DC, and drove back and paid. Fortunately I did, because he closed down about a month later.
I could've sworn. sometimes memories aren't as clear as they seem. I wouldn't remember anyone who'd come up the store, forgot to pay and come back 4 years later.
Why was it a plot twist? Accidents happen and customers can be nice. The plot twist was that some customers might be generous and no one should judge a book by it's cover.
One time I was getting some Subway after class. I made my order, but when it came time to pay I realized that I didn't have my wallet on me today. Well I'll never forget, the man behind me in line payed for my sandwich for me. It was a really kind gesture that I haven't forgotten after ten years. If I'm ever in a similar situation, I intend to pay that kindness forward.
I remember the first video i watched for you was something like "my first day at subway" and ive been loving all the content ever since! Thank you Milad for making these amazing videos for me and my family to watch ❤❤❤❤
The first time I couldn’t pay for something was before I got my first debit card and all I had on my was cash. I didn’t have enough to pay for my friend’s ice cream and promised to come back later, I went back the next day with extra cash to pay back what I had to. I can’t imagine “not having my wallet” and taking something.
I think I remember you mentioning a subway customer that never came back until a while later but you never went into detail about it so this is nice lol
😂😂prob your BEST story ever!!! 😂😂 I'm a bartender/server & have been for more years than you've been on Earth lol so I can DEFINITELY RELATE!!!!!!!!!😅😅
10 seconds in I knew the guy would return to pay, new customers, people forget to bring wallets, or recently moved to a new state, and step into a fast food restaurant.
It happened to me at an Indian restaurant near my job. I frequently call to place an order but they never ask for my name (about once every two months, sometimes more). Each time I come by they just know and hand me my order. They don't even know my name so I don't know how they know. One time I forgot my card and I was so upset about it. The food was already prepared and I didn't want them to be in an awkward position. The boss just gave me the food saying multiple time that "there is no problem" and to just pay for it when I could. I was the one asking for their bank information so I could send the money (I don't have the app on my phone to do it right away). I asked for the amount and everything and as soon as I got home I did it on my computer even adding a nice tip. They were so relax and friendly like the boss was certain I would do it even if nobody really knew me. I really felt blessed to be trusted this way. Incredible people.
Greg: "I just moved here from Pennsylvania." Milad: "Oh, what brings you here?" Greg: "Well I actually used to live here, but moved away 3 years ago after I stiffed a guy for a sub and tried ducking him for a year, got bored in PA, now I'm moving back home. I figure I've been gone long enough that sub guy wouldn't recognize me anym......shit, it's you isn't it?"
I used to sell sandwiches 6-5 years ago at school and I still remember that a Dutch girl still owes me 5.000 Indonesia rupiah which is equal to 33 US cents but now that she have moved to the Netherlands idk how to ask for the money she owes me
Maybe the costumer has a twin brother and the twin brother was the one who ordered and didn’t come back to pay for the sandwich that’s why he was laughing 😂😂
I have been watching for years, I still am so entertained every time, Milad will never run out of stories!
