I don’t think so because I’ve made soft serve at home before, by Emma’s goodies recipe, and at the beginning she talks about the science and it’s basically that a lot of sugar in the mixture will stop the milk or cream from freezing all the way and keeps it really soft.
💦 one time I was at a frozen yogurt shop and we sat down to eat our yogurt (this was pre COVID) and this older woman walked in and cut in line! The workers at the counter said she had to go to the back of the line and wait her turn but of course she didn’t budge and started giving her order. They took it but waited to make it until the line was through which ended in the woman yelling at the worker. The worker kept their calm though and tried to calm the situation. This was a small shop so the manager wasn’t there at the store. When she asked for the manager the worker went into the back and talked to another employee and told them to say they were the manager. The other worker comes up and long story short said she was banned from the store for causing a disturbance and not following proper etiquette (waiting in line) and she never came back to that shop again.

If you are in contact with something for so many years, you kinda get over the need of it. It's weird. It's still delicious, in case of the ice cream, but after some time you whould not eat more than 3 balls per week.
I work at a Wendy's and we use that same kind of scraper to cut the grilled chicken for the salads and we also use bladders that look very similar for our frostys 😂
