Futurama fans are on a whole different level, and many of us have seen these episodes many times over the years. If you keep producing these reactions, we'll keep watching them.
Yepp! Its my favourite show ever! I'll watch every single reaction video on YT about it!
Futurama's a very unique show. The number of advanced degrees, many in STEM fields, in the writers' room is, I think, completely unparalleled, even today. One of the season-pack DVD sets came with a bonus feature that was the entire Futurama writing staff watching a lecture on advanced maths, which came up because one of the episodes they wrote led them to developing an entirely new mathematical equation.
Not bad for a cartoon.
This episode has my favorite moment in the show. When Fry misses the big red button! I don’t why but it gets me every time.
Bender trying to get rid of the bomb 💣 and just hitting another meteor tossing it back to him always cracks me up
That's the type of joke that sets Futurama apart for me, where the joke IS that the joke is so silly.
With rings around it like a target.
For me it was “Oh, god. You’re killing me!😂
OH, GOD! YOU’RE KILLING ME!🤕
The Professor said he built the Smell-o-scope last year
I just saw news about a "superworm" found in Australia that loves eating styrofoam.
been waiting for this! keep them up, they're brilliant :)
I've been re-watching Futurama again recently after about 10 years. I'm still seeing new jokes (or more likely jokes didn't hit the mark for my younger self but hit the mark now). It's very dense with all levels of humor.
How is Urrectum not a joke in the future :)
"Here, let me find it for you" lol
Critic Jay Sherman’s review of the garbage ball: “It stinks! 👍”
I find it funny that you’ll catch stuff in editing that flew by the first time. _Futurama_ is just that kind of show. Sometimes it’s too funny. 😄
Thrilled to have a another Futurama reaction! Been a long time since the last one. This was a very funny episode.
I don't live in Toronto but I live relatively close, so what you said about the garbage trucks got to me. I looked it up online, and APPARENTLY they use one truck but with different compartments for each. It wouldn't surprise me though if the situation is a lot worse than what's presented to the public.
When we saw it, it all went into the same part. We stood there feeling so let down. I know that's weird, but it was like we felt just a mountain of sadness because it was like even when we go out of our way to put it in the right place, it just didn't matter. Hopefully things have changed since then - it was before we had kids, so at least 5 years ago
Thank you for that reaction, guys. It's so fun revisiting these series with you. Keep it up :)
The picture of your wife. *throws it* Now it's garbage. XD
You went and let us get into your heads. Don’t listen to us. We’ll ruin you. You just be you which is why we were here in the first place.
I believe going to space cost about $10,000 a pound.
more futurama please
I always found it hilarious that fry knew how to pluralize symposium
Silence! Love you're reactions
This wouldn't be much fun if you were just sitting there being quiet. The commentary is the whole reason to watch the video.
I don't know why some people seem to think that reactors stop them from watching the episodes on their own, without any distractions. It's like going to a midnight Rocky Horror showing and complaining that all the costumes and singing are making you miss the movie.
Also, if I may offer a reframe; "sensitive" stomach.
If it involved guys in pick-up trucks, I'm gonna assume the people grabbing the garbage and not keeping the organics and recyclables separate were probably private contractors hired by the festival for the extra event garbage, so it may have been a temporary "emergency" measure, though I wouldn't rule out straight violation-of-contract, either. Unfortunately, it is not unheard of for shady trash firms to pull such frauds. Then again, the whole industry has an extensive history of corruption, though much less so now than decades back.
"Recycle" is also the lowest rung on the "reduce, reuse, recycle" ladder, which tends to get overlooked. It's better than nothing, but not creating waste in the first place or repurposing it is far more effective in reducing one's environmental impact.
Thanks for the all the animated comedy series reactions! I always look forward to next one!
Another fun reason you can't just send stuff you don't want to space: even if it's rare, some launches fail and their payloads fall hazardously back to Earth. That's why we don't just yeet nuclear waste.
There are some problems that even mob connections can’t solve.
Well, we *didn't*, anyway. I think we have started launching sizable nuke reactors into space, with, it seems to my admittedly-lay eye, disturbingly little discussion about it.
Sad that this episode is still relevant nowadays, unfortunately nobody is willing to force the billion dollar companies to produce less garbage
Keep going with this. Futurama is such a great show.
In space, no one can smell you scream.
Hey Guys
check out Futurama episode:"Game of Tones".It is the episode where the Crew enter into Fry's Dream. It is a very entertaining, and touching episodes.
Yes more Futurama
Just subbed. Can’t wait for the next futurama react video! I love this show!
A comment that has stuck with me that makes so much sense is "Big Bang Theory is a dumb show that pretends to be smart, Futurama is a smart show that pretends to be dumb"
I'm sorry to BBT fans but remove the laugh track from any scene and tell me it's still funny. Your not laughing at well written jokes, your laughing at "haha nerds!" for how many seasons?
If we ever succeed in building a space elevator someday maybe then garbage can be transported to space efficiently. Maybe. I don't know all of the logistics behind it, but space elevator technology could help should we ever develop it.
I'm sorry I can't be the only person noticing the lack of south park videos ... 😔 its been 3 weeks😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Thermal de-polymerization should be used to get rid of all carbon waste. Plastics can be converted to oil and liquid gas from this process.
Perhaps, but where's the energy for the process going to come from, and how will that affect our more pressing problem of the climate crisis caused by carbon pollution?
We don't really have a problem with a lack of oil. There's a lack of extremely-cheap oil from easy-to-access deposits, maybe, but that's not really the same thing, and it's not a problem we haven't faced before.
Just watched this episode last night. Next up, Hell Is Other Robots!
there is actually a crossover episode between simpsons and futurama so yes they are in the same universe
Don't worry about throwing out things made of paper and wood. That gives us a reason to grow more trees, which sequester carbon out of the atmosphere.
17:46 _"We should make it our goal, when the girls get older, to make them litterless lunches."_ Yes! You can wrap some baby carrots inside two cookies. Or wrap a sandwich inside of a different sandwich!
Thomas Kelly: Haha.
We've got to face reality. We love the security and cleanliness of using certain products. We really need to refigure how we make it.
Hmmm... What about what Doc Brown brought back from the future? A Mr. Fusion?
Just think about converting all of our trash into energy.
That would be the greatest achievement ever. Break everything down to its atomic level and reconvert into reusable energy
@@LA_HA What a coincidence. I had just watched a video called _"The Great Recyclng Lie (what really happened to plastic)"_ on the *Sorelle Amore Finance* You Tube channel: ua-cam.com/video/3R7XAeWCNqI/v-deo.html
I used to be obsessed with recycling until I learned most things can't be recycled.
I prefer the talking makes it feel like watching friends
If they really don't throw garbage out in the 31st century, what's that dumpster for that Zoidberg is always hanging out in?
Contents go to the recycling center
The Simpsons, Futurama and Disenchantment all occur in the same universe.
That just isn't true. They have easter eggs because they're all made by Matt Groening but that's as far as it goes.
Fun reaction 😁
You 2 should react to some 90's cartoons, Rocko's Modern Life, Beavis & Butthead or Ren & Stimpy
Aww y’all cut the Urectum joke
it's a classic, I was surprised they cut it.
The garbage island is a big problem.
More plz.
I SAID PLZ!!!
Great reaction!
if Simpson exist in there universe now that would be cool if a crossover happen it would be crazy
i think they did have a crossover
They did one, it's S26 E6 of the simpsons
You’re about 8 years late for this idea lol
Your kinda late pal
yh I was trying to avoid the spoilers 😂
Thx for the reaction
America needs to clean up its mess too
Great reaction as always!
Garbage is still a big problem today
I thought watching you talk about the show was the point.
Another good show you might like watch is Robot Chicken.
You guys should check Monty Python life of Brian .
Some businesses and cities actually recycle, a lot say they are and don't. I doubt anyone was doing it during the pandemic, though.
Dunno about that. Not certain on this, but I think some commodities spiked during the pandemic, as the globalized supply chains were disrupted (still happening, which, along with unprecedented oligarchic profiteering, is the main driver of current inflationary trends, not trivial increases to workers' wages that have been stagnant for 50 years), and recycling's a good way to recover valuable metals.
@@michaelccozens My city stopped recycling, during the pandemic.
The Simpsons and Futurama shares the same creator.
Please react to the show Archer it’s very hilarious
more futurama
Jane, if you have a weak stomach, I'm not sure you should be watching this show. 😅
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Sweet
here for Futurama. sub too.
Please reaction to persian history 💕
Girly mom
OK OK .. what are u planning on doing here ?? .. cause IF YOU 2 LOVELY CLOWNS react to 1 Futurama Episode every 2 WEEKS it will take you 5 and a HALF YEARS to finish it ..
Whos gonna watch that?? .. DO YOU even remember after 5 years what happened at teh start? ..no .. this is BS ..
Futurama did a couple of these “message” episodes. This was was good, there is one upcoming that is anti internet piracy that is probably it the worst episode in the series.
I strongly disagree solely because of the mini musical number.
I think the worst episode was when the rock monster changed everybodies genders.
There wasn't really anything wrong with it - piracy is a problem for creatives - but the narrative it was in-tune with was bad. This was back when the RIAA was insisting that every download represented a lost sale, which is a great thing to tell an economist if you want them to die laughing. The real point of their campaign, of course, was the protection of the existing ruling class in the sector (also some Luddite "ban cars to protect buggy-whip jobs" thinking in there), and to distract everyone from the fact that rampant consolidation had created an oligarchy in the music industry that was (is) squeezing musicians dry. Napster and the like were a convenient scapegoat that also served as reason to avoid having that conversation. We still haven't had it.
Interestingly, this was not the first time such a dynamic occurred. When the MPAA went to war against VCRs in the '80s, the head of the org (can't recall his name - Jack Welch, maybe?) testified to Congress that "the VCR is to the American movie industry as the Boston Strangler is to the woman walking alone" (nothing sensationalistic there). And both situations kinda shook-out the same; new tech eliminated some old jobs, but also created new ones, and new markets. The American movie industry profited handsomely from the creation of video rentals.
@@melllvar4262 It was kinda scattered, but I liked that they branched out and explored new areas.
"Worst episode" for Futurama is sorta like that old joke about pizza; even when it's bad, it's still pretty good.
Will jokes are cringe now. Also why did you titled it "EXCLUSIVE UNEDITED REACTION"
