BGT is one of my home parks. Im happy to see Scorpion go. It was getting rough. I hope removing this ride will give way to a much larger coaster in this area.
@@BliXXardStorm I don't use this phrase lightly. But it's literally on its last legs. I think it's best to scrap it. I love Schwarzkopfs and arrows. But this is one time where it's time for a coaster to die. On Friday it overshot the brakes completely, they didn't engage or anything. It went through the station and up the lift hill before stopping. I went today and it overshot the brakes 4 separate times. They would tighten the brakes. It would run fine for 5 cycles then it would over shoot. The lift motor is manually turned off once the center of the train gets over the crest so it doesn't have to keep pushing it. They have to keep relighting the brake system. I'm guessing the air system is failing and they can't get parts for it. But if they keep running it this week it won't be able to run on the 2nd. Guarantee that. It's literally over it's limit to keep running and it seems to be sudden. Last Monday it was fine. So I'm guessing something major happened that week
I think Cedar Point should have just kept Top Thrill Dragster and just changed it to a powerful LSM launch with a bunny hill at the end……..instead of reimagining it. More like the Red Force coaster.
Well, Zamperla pitched Cedar Point with the idea of the spike and LSM launch. But yeah, Cedar Point could have requested less major changes to be added to the ride.
I don’t think the wild mouse example with top thrill 2 would happen as I assume that wild mouse is more complex ride with is having at least 4 block zones during the layout plus the block zones at the end which I’d guess can hold 7 trains including the station having some but also it’s a moving station plus managing the spinning cars. Technically with this logic you’d wonder why hagrids motorbike adventure was unreliable at the beginning being it’s a family coaster but it has many moving parts to it. I hope Top Thrill 2 goes well and probably have a few beginning issues but then be very reliable I hope Zamperla also stills makes thrill coasters after this, once they finish this they know how to make their trains and coaster cause it won’t be a prototype.
Now that you say that, I totally agree. Zamperla is getting way too much yak about TT2. Tell me when the last time they revamped a strata coaster was? Right, never. With that in mind, I really hope they work out the kinks and it becomes a much more reliable ride. Thanks for watching!
there have been several small removals from BGT over by the bumper cars, as well as the rumor that the log flume is leaving as well. so something big might be happening at BGT.
Let me know what you all thought of this experimental style of video and how I can improve upon this concept. Thanks for watching!
Dude this is exactly the type of video editing I was planning on 😂
But ye you did a really good job
@@BGWVidsTheories nice 😂 Can’t wait to see that first video!
I hope another park would be interested in buying scorpion instead of just scrapping an amazing ride it’s really fun and pretty smoothe for its type
Absolutely

It's time to call up Premier Rides to make 900 feet of new track, including the loop, and it will reopen in May as "Scorpion: The Legend Lives On."
😂😂😂
I'm very sad scorpion is closing but I could see another park buy it
I really hope some other park buys it
Me too! Hopefully, it doesn’t end up like American Triple Loop, though. 💀
Gene staples "GIMMIE ALL DEM PARTS"
I rode Scorpion back in 2019 and it was surprisingly good! Nice and intense for its size and very smooth
Good stuff!
It would be neat is a park like Knoebels bought the Scorpion. I feel like the classic looper would fit in great with the line up.
Knoebels is the theme park retirement home, after all.
@@BliXXardStorm
Nothing wrong with that
@@kingbullyrock8739 agreed.
Just went to pay my respects to Scorpion, what a great little coaster.

I’m sure you’re not the only one.
It was mine too :(

I guess that makes sense. I still hope it gets sold, though, it’s a classic.
