Much appreciated for your support! Yes, I really hope they step up their game from even the Nessie renovation and theme the heck out of this ride.

I would start queuing by 4:30 (30 minutes before train opening) if you want to be on the first train and it’s busy. If it’s not too bad, you could probably get by if you start queuing at around 4:40. The first train is pretty much the only train where you can see the site before it gets dark, so make sure you start queuing early.

Thanks for the info. Was there 3 weeks ago and the train was a walk on. Actually rode the train 10 out of the last 12 Sundays. Customer appreciation Sunday the train broke down at the Big bad wolf site and we sat there for about 30 minutes.

Yup! I’m definitely more excited now that I’ve seen track and supports going up so fast. I didn’t check by Flying Machine today, but I’ll check next time I go.

If you’re talking about the Nessie repaint, absolutely. I don’t understand why they pulled a Six Flags and made a PERMANENT MURAL of an advertisement.

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it many times. They better theme the living heck out of this ride for it to be worthwhile, but it will be interesting to see.

Should’ve added some well themed flat rides back there. They are having a flat ride crisis right now…

@BliXXardStorm Absolutely this park has absolutely has no flats whats so ever. They took out Da Vinci”s Cradle that could have been replaced with a zamperla zebula or they could have added a zamperla disco or a mondail shake or move it. I really dont like the direction BGW is going. The few flat rides they do have are decades old.lol

@ agreed, I’m not a fan of where the park is headed at all either.

The first drop is already done, and they are only going to make even more progress. I’ll see if I can make it back this Sunday to do another update.

Yeah, those supports looked massive when they first were constructed since there hasn’t been a coaster in that spot for 20+ years.

I’d probably say May like most of their latest additions, I could see it testing around that time though!

@@aegisofhonor for one it’s gonna be a lot more longer than phoenix rising with two lift hills just like the original. I share your concerns tho cas phoenix rising was pure doo doo when I rode it too the drop looks taller and the renders make it look really promising

Unfortunately, I don’t think we will see the swinging trains return, but we will have to see when the trains arrive on site.

@@BliXXardStorm I don’t think B&M makes swing trains do they? Especially on an invert that sounds like way above their current creative state

Just got back from an 8 hour drive from Tampa. No pov’s unfortunately but I had an absolute blast! Rode their family invert as a big bad wolf substitute and was impressed also theming wise Williamsburg has it in the bag, ride wise I hate to say it but Tampa has the better version of almost every coaster except alpinegiest they don’t allow quick queue on Iron Gwazi and the line was multiple hours long so I decided not to ride it. 99% of the rides surprisingly have safety spiels but they play on loop and arnt timed

@ good stuff, man! No one will ever beat BGW’s spiels.. especially the old ones.

@@BliXXardStorm their version of tempesto also has that fast paced voice like tempesto I guess they wanted the actors to sound like that or something. Also noticed they use multiple voices

@ yes, it’s interesting that they changed the voice for Tempesto to that Mike Tirico sounding guy that also voices Pantheon in 2023.

@@BliXXardStorm I’m telling you man no shade but I don’t rly like the new voice that’s slowly taking over everything, it just dosent flow the same as the griffon voice and park announcements

Who knows? What we know for sure is that trackwork will ramp up throughout December, so I’m pumped to keep y’all updated!

@@BliXXardStorm Hello me again, I just came back from my trip and Alpengeist was indeed open, I rode it 10 times, it closed then due to cold temps (Below 42 degrees) I went on the train and saw The Big Bad Wolf: The Wolf's Revenge construction, and to my perspective, i think the first chainlift has been topped off. I could be wrong, but I think it is.

@ sweet! I’m glad to hear my favorite BGW coaster is back up and running. And yes, they have topped off the first lift hill for Big Bad Wolf! I plan to go tomorrow to get another update video.

@ I’m pretty sure they are chill with secured cameras so long as you go to Guest Relations for a camera card. I’m not sure if they do that though. (also guess who managed to catch the new Nessie restart spiel)

I wish, but I didn’t have a pass for this year, but I’ll be going hopefully next year. I do live an hour away, so it would’ve been a little crazy to drive there weekly to just do updates when I only go like a couple times annually.

@@BliXXardStorm I’m about 1 1/2 hours from Busch Gardens and 20 mins from kings dominion. So I feel you. But the passes are very cheap at KD…. $99 for the season pass

I believe Alpengeist and Verbolten should’ve been open, but Griffon and Pantheon are closed for the season.

That’s weird because last year pantheon were open up until at least December. I rode many rides while it was very cold

@ I thought that was 2022. I don’t remember it being open last year, or maybe it was last year, I don’t know. I guess they found themselves calling it down because of weather, so they said, “Why bother?”

@@BliXXardStorm yea it was last year. My first time at BG was July last year. But who knows. They’ve also been open less days during the week this year compared to last year too. So they’ve definitely changed a lot for this year
