so the idea that ryoma is a suicidal and wants to die is complete garbage because the whole point of his character is that he holds himself in so little regard because he believes as a death row inmate, his life has no worth when compared to anyone elses. the idea that he is suicidal can be backed up but is not true because the only time he goes out of his way to die was when he was driven to suicide by his motive video and prior to that, he explicitley states to the group that he held off on the idea of giving up his life to the group when that option was availible from the start. he holds himself in a really low regard but does not go out of his way to get himself killed.
It even ties into his character as he is the type of person who will accept the consequences of his actions and thus beleives his sentance to be fair and willingly accepts it. If he was suicidal and wanted to die, he would ultimately be running away from his punishment that he beleives and treats is just and right, and would completly contradict the point of his character.
Case in point, he is not suicidal, but offers his life up twice in the game as it would ultimately give his "pointless" life meaning, but throwing it away for suicide would be the ultimate act of cowardice and selfishness.

V3 adds nothing new to the danganronpa lore, and could've at least have been it's own thing, but they JUST HAD to link it to the Hope's peak saga, which comes with certain expectations. If it were a standalone and didnt do the whole seasonal killing game thing it would've at least been decent

The thing is, I agree with you on a lot of things.
The issue being Tsumugi at the end. I actually thought the creators were poking fun at the idea of Junko always being behind everything. Plus, you forgot to mention that everyone has artificial memories and personalities, basically telling everyone that they're just seeing actors being brutally massacred and that they're idiots for getting invested.
Here's my take. Tsumugi the cosplayer is real. However, she assumed Junko's identity wanting to be her.

    • @casualfanatic4217
      @casualfanatic4217 5 років тому +11

Christopher Bennett wrong wrong Tsumugi is a person who was so obsessed with DR she became all the characters from the games (theory is that she wrote all the characters from all the games) she wasn’t just Junko she was also Hajime, Chiaki, Sayaka, Togami everyone. She is an exaggeration of what happens when one becomes too obsessed with fiction to the point they lose their own identity, at least that’s what I took from her character

I feel like schuichi is more bland than makoto and hajime. Schuichi missed out on the ‘protagonist character development after the games’ party. Makoto turned to a cinnamon roll and started showing how even positive people still have to deal with loss, hajime turned into somebody who wanted to be special and wanted to be better by giving away what he never realized he had. Idk just how I feel about it

You probably don’t care about such a small detail but a thing that I disliked about V3 was that unlike in previous games, the design of the courtroom stays the same for the first 4 trials and only changes in chapters 5 and 6. It really takes away from the enjoyment of the trials in my opinion.

    • @ItsJustT

I really didn't like the ending.
No it's not bc I "don't get it" or that I'm "naive" or whatever people argue white knighting the game. I just didn't like how it was executed. I didn't have a problem with what they were going for but I just think they kinda missed the mark.
The enjoyment of fiction is subjective. There's no reason to be mad at someone who likes or dislikes the game.
Personally I love the franchise.i also love Danganronpa V3. Yeah the end might have gave me a little of a bad after taste but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the rest of the game.
I loved the twist of them volunteering for this game and the conflict that would bring realizing that about yourself. I also liked that the right decision was just to refuse to play along.
    Everything else though...kinda...urged me personally.
The ending didn't feel very rewarding. And people can argue that that was the point and "we are part of the problem that's being criticized" which is correct, that was what the developer's were going for. But we are playing out of suichis view, we won, we survived but somehow it still fell flat for me.
The trial was just kinda a letdown for me during the second part. It felt really dry and unrewarding solving the last mystery for me, especially since I LOVED the 5th trial so much. Even if that was the point- story wise it makes sense, but game development wise I don't think it's the smartest move.
That's just my humble opinion on the whole thing lol.

I know ur comment was a year ago but I agree I love v3 and the characters along with it but I feel like it would have been better for them to live in their own fiction and then they could meet up with Makoto and the rest of the survives of the previous games but to take the fiction out of it made me a little sad. And it kinda got on my nerves how during the trial things were being repeated over and over.

The end is absolute bollocks, half the characters were bland as hell, and the others underused, and the class trials just seemed half-assed. That being said, I'd have probably enjoyed it a lot more if they took out Tsumugi's cosplay fever shit, and left out Junko and the rest of the franchise being fake. honestly with the trial on miu, i remember actually getting really confused and in the middle i started to guess it was gonta, since i often leaned onto paying more attention to how gonta acted. Since i was quite attached to Kokichi and Gonta seemed to always stupidly follow him. So by the time i was in the middle of the trial (which felt like an eternity) i was frustrated because like the other trials, i didn't feel like i had any control. I knew ahead of time with a bunch of the answers. hell! i got furious with how they play out these characters being stupid as hell about how camera's work or how video games work.
to me it just felt baffling. Some things in the trial made sense to be confused about but others just got me to disliking the trial more and more. I had fun in some moments but it wasn't no crazy plot twist to me that Gonta had done it. Cause with both DR1 and DR2 i went in blind and excited. some trials weren't great but we at least had some that really let you FEEL thrown off. Not where they held the information from you when you had already seen it and knew "HEY THATS A CLUE" but they're like "nonono. tooooootally not a clue" yet use it later.
im unsure if they were too scared that all the trials were extremely obvious or what. Or if they had a new writer or something, but they really were driving this game and steering it way too much.
plus i may be biased as kokichi is my favorite character and all, but his trial infuriated me even though it was my favorite trial out of all of them. With cameras it should've been extremely obvious there is a PAUSE BUTTON!! LIKE I DONT WANT TO GO THROUGH LISTENING TO THEM MAKING ALL THIS STUPID EMOTIONAL SHIT FOR HOURS just to fiiiiinally talk about "oh! but theres a pause function on the camera"
this game i love very much. and i had a lot of things i enjoyed on it. The characters to me were fun but i understand that some of them were quite bland. Especially Shuichi. Though at this point i just simply forget about the ending and just forget about the frustrations and only take the characters i like from the game and remember it mostly from that.
    good game, but very flawed

It's kinda like they saw that one scene and turned off the game.
Tsumugi was cosplaying as Junko and trying to copy her attempts at spreading despair. She says herself that she was copying someone so of course it failed. We know why it failed too because of the events of Dagan Ronpa 1 and 2.
So there's your clue that she was lying about a lot of things.

I've never seen a video I have so absurdly disagree with about this game. You have every right to your opinion, and I'm not here to change yours, but I need to rant about this.
The minigames in Danganronpa can be very hit or miss, I agree, but none of them are that difficult, especially in V3, which is easier than DR2 if you ask me.
Chapter 1's mystery is not impossible to solve. A lot of people predicted it was coming (Hell, NicoB said it was too obvious). It also did much more for the game's story. Shuichi works as the balance between Kokichi and Kaito's belief which are the main theme of the game. Kaede is essentially Kaito 2.0 in terms of beliefs, so what would see have to gain from being the protag. Shuichi also has a solid arc in V3 that would have gone nowhere if he killed for no reason. You also complain about Gonta having "no motive" when Shuichi doesn't have one either in chapter 1, nor does Tsumugi in chapter 4 for that matter.
Moving on, DR1 and 2 did a much worse job on who died and when than V3 did. Taka and Hiyoko die in the middle of their character arcs, Hagakura does almost nothing for the game's story, and half of DR2's surviving cast does nothing for it. The only character that died too early in V3 is Angie and even that is debatable as there are ways to fix her story portrayal with her still being the chapter 3 victim. Kirumi would have been fine if they focused on the traits she has in her trial in her FTEs, but sadly, they don't. Korekiyo's motive also doesn't come out of nowhere. It's implied multiple times in optional dialogues and in his FTEs with both Kaede and Shuichi. I think it works because it goes against the usual "this guy is creepy af but he's actually nice" DR has down on multiple occasions.
As for the rest of the cast, I don't know where you're getting off that it's worse than the other games. Rantaro doesn't get a lot of screentime, but he's likable and has a nice backstory and talent if you read his FTEs. Ryoma "wanting to die" doesn't mean he has 0 character and I'm not sure what that kind of logic is??? Tenko is up to opinion, she's clingy and definitely not for everyone, but Angie is even less likable and you seem to like her. Compared to DR1 and 2, where you have Leon and Hagakure who get less likable as you learn more about them, Byakuya who is incredibly irrelevant for a lot of the game compared to Kokichi, Toko (who I love in UDG, but is annoying as fuck in DR1), Hifumi who does nothing but honestly make fun of it's fanbase more than the ending does (which isn't saying much since the ending isn't about saying fuck you to the the fans), Peko who is also defined a lot by her relationship with Fuyuhiko, Ibuki who is incredibly irrelevant most of the time, and Teruteru.
Finally, the ending. It is not trying to say that Spike Chunsoft nor Kodaka hates the series and wants it to die, why would they when it's making so much money and gaining a lot of popularity? The older games being fiction doesn't make them irrelevant. The entire point of the ending is to say that fiction is important even if it isn't real.
Also, the point of Tsumugi being Junko is to make fun of people complaining about Junko coming back. Tsumugi has an entirely different character than Junko and just uses her for own goals of continuing Danganronpa. Both Nagito and Kokichi would have been WAY too obvious as the mastermind and it would have made Kokichi's character much worse. Nagito, I guess, I can see as a mastermind, but his actions in 2-5 are better than anything he would have done in chapter 6.
This has dragged on way too long, I apologize if I'm being condescending or angry in this post, I just need to get this out there.

    • @MrConredsX
      @MrConredsX 6 років тому +8

True, although Hagakure was the funniest character in all the games so his character wasn't pointless. It was also ironic how not only he survived while being the weakest character in killing games, but also his family survived in UDG.

Ok, I agree with most of this, but how in the hell is Ibuki anywhere near “irrelevant”? On top of her being one of the most memorable characters in the series as far as both design and personality (and I only say “one of” to make room for the opinions of others: she’s far and away the best IMO), she provides a useful piece of evidence in the first trial and has one - optionally two - scenes just after Mahiru’s death that further express her character, on top of being surprisingly deep and unbelievably entertaining in Free Time/Dangan Island, all culminating in a death that I would argue is even worse than Chiaki’s in terms of how absolutely depressing it is. Comparing her to the most uninteresting, out-of-focus character in a game that had more than one of those is a travesty that I struggle to find enough words to properly describe.
Sorry if this rant sounds like a bit much too, but damn, that struck a nerve with me.

    • @sequitur7222
      @sequitur7222 6 років тому +3

First of all, this post is almost two months old.
Secondly, I wouldn’t go that far, but I don’t hate Ibuki or anything. Perhaps irrelevant was a poor choice of words but outside of Teruteru and Twogami she feels the least connected to the rest of the cast as they all have at least one relationship with another character. I like the angle she has as the most optimistic person in chapter 3, but it’s not focused on enough to really make a huge impact nor does her death actually affect any of the survivors going forward (although this can be attributed to 2-3 atrocious case writing more than anything).
She really isn’t more relevant in universe than Chiaki, Gundham, or even Peko is to one of the survivors. With that being said, I agree that she’s a really fun character with some nice FTEs.

Danganronpa V3 has a controversial ending so that means you either hate it or love it (or some other third opinion). I personally love it because it was an emotional rollercoaster(it was pretty long though so playing the entirety of chapter 6 in one sitting wore me out near the ending). Since this game was based on the theme of truth vs lies it makes you second guess a lot of the information given since Tsumugi lies a lot in the ending. Plus as the mastermind her cosplay talent was super cool to me. The ending for me was something that I grew to love over time with new information coming up and theories of what the truth was. That made it so even after the game ended I was still trying to figure out the truth.
In terms of characters I loved 4 of them, 5 I grew to really like through the game, and the rest were ok. But this was the first time I didn't hate someone from a Danganronpa game so that's a plus.
Trials were a bit long but overall ok. It's possible to guess who the killer is before the trial starts if you notice the small things(I saw most of this in NicoB's lets play sincehe guessed most of the killers pretty quickly). For the first trial the shot put ball could only have been hit from above since Rantarou was hit on the top of his head. It was shown how Kaede rearranged the books, giving her the opportunity to make her murder plan work. Since the cut scene for this was particularly long it had to hold importance. (Though Tsumugi was the real killer in the end).
2nd and 3rd were pretty easy to guess. For the fourth trial it's mainly over process of elimination and how Gonta really was the only one with the opportunity to kill Miu. Tsumugi could've been possible if she wasn't with Shuichi when Miu hit the chapel wall. 5th trial wasn't hard to guess either(still was pretty interesting though).
Overall I think this is tied with SDR2 in my favorite game in the franchise.

Honestly the fan disrespect for the ending isn't what really gets to me, I mean, don't get me wrong, it does, but not as much as the other shit.
    1. The trial of Kaede and Rantaro was bullshit from the start.
Not only that BOTH characters should NOT have died, they could have made the story much better, but Tsumugi fucking cheated in her own game and got away with it.
It's such aggravating bullshit and I fucking hate that.
"But Junko tried to kill Makoto AND Kyoko, she cheated too!"
Yeah, but here's the thing. Junko DIDN'T get away with it. If she DID. I would have the same complaints for her, but she didn't, because that would be stupid.
And look at what Tsumugi did, such utter bullshit, I hate it.
Just a pathetic mastermind, KOKICHI would have been a better mastermind, yeah you would EXPECT it, but at least he's interesting, meanwhile everything about Tsumugi is bland, down to her goddamn execution, she doesn't even get a good one based on her whole cosplay thing, she just chooses to sit there and die in the rubble lmao
    2. There are ONLY THREE SURVIVORS. DO I *NEED* TO SAY MORE!?! NOT EVEN 4. JUST 3.
I was willing to at least try to bear with reason one and reason to, if it was JUST THAT. I would still call this a good game, but then comes in..
    3. EVERYTHING IS A LIE. THEY TOOK EVERYTHING, MY FAVORITE GAMES, THE LORE, THE CHARACTERS, ALL OF IT MEANS NOTHING.
    Why...just WHY!?
And then they do some up to interpretation shit, saying; "aRe ThEy ReAlLy NoT rEaL!?!!1!1!"
And now the three survivors just stuck in a world of nothing, nothing left outside of their game, just a destroyed school to call home for all eternity.
Spike Chunsoft, you guys are amazing, but for the love of FUCK. RETCON THIS ENDING. The fact that they just made EVERY game meaningless is what made me go on the warpath, I was willing to put up with the BULLSHIT that is trial 1 and 3. But this is just...I hate it.
That's all, thank you for coming to my ted talk.

So wait, the best cast is somehow the worst cast? What do you even mean???
Also, the Epilogue suggested that the Danganronpa 1-3 did happen. (Do people just ignore the epilogue or something) Not only that, but the prologue also suggested that they were indeed kidnapped (or at least suggested that it was a possibility).
Not only that, but the book on the history of the Hope's Academy was a most likely a real book, considering it holds only public information. Hence why it makes no mention of events of SDR2, as it wouldn't make sense for such a private Killing Game to be public information.
Also, you are straight-up wrong. You don't need the motive to prove guilt. What you need is a guilty act and a guilty mind, aka. Actus Rea and Mens Rea. Mens Rea, is all about the intention to do the crime, not the motive behind the crime. However motive is preferable to have when you are trying to prove to a jury, but legally speaking not needed.
However, since this is Danganronpa, you do not even need Mens Rea, since in Danganronpa manslaughter and self-defense are counted for murders. So all together with the claim that you need motive, is BS. Also, the reason why the investigator use motive to find suspects because practically speaking everybody in the world is a suspect. However, in Danganronpa, they are in a closed environment. That means opportunity and method are much more important for finding the correct suspect, as motive is intended to reduce thousands upon thousands of possible suspects.
This video just has a bunch of strange things about it, like the Junko thing... Because the game kinda points out the cliche to begin with and most of all... It's not Junko, the character literally doesn't believe Junko exists (or maybe she does, considering how Tsumigi hints that she is just a copy cat).
Like I could actually break down the majority of this video... Except for Case 3, because fuck Case 3, that shit was some ol' BS. Like so many things about that case is complete BS. But then again Case 3s in DR seem to be cursed to be the worst case in every DR game. (And I do agree that Case 1 hid the culprit in such BS way and that sort of sucked)
I consider V3 to be the best DR game to date.

Unfortunately I don’t know how to link it on mobile, but TV Tropes gave a couple examples of times when Kodaka debunked the “message to the fanbase” theory and remarked on what the actual interpretation was supposed to be, while also saying that the development team was “concerned” about how people kept taking it negatively like that. The rest of the video was pretty much fine, but I feel like you should’ve probably checked yourself before claiming something that’s already been disproven.

You can bet they can do an Ultra Despair Girls 2 in VR when the PSVR2 launches and use a narrative of how you are now stuck in that fictional world and need to figure out which layer of which reality you are on to get out, back to the real world we personally live in. Basically a “get your head out of the game” meta which is one beyond what V3 did but also in a medium the series hasn’t tried yet.
I’m calling it now, it’s so simple how they could continue the series with using a larger spectacle. It’s setup is as simple as a new war between the viewers who quit not wanting their favorite series to see go away after V3 and bam…instant set up for a new action game. 🤣 I should be on the writing team. There would easily be enough people who would buy that I could sell the idea. It’s not like the PSVR2 is even out yet and this being a title that took a spin-off to the fricking Vita of all places would totally think ahead to help with a launch title for that new VR system.

It's always interesting to see how different people think of certain characters
I can agree with a lot of your statements, but I still think that Gonta and Himiko are great characters, Gonta is a really loyal character that is too naive for his own good, Himiko is still a child and not helpful at all, but after some time she really tries to help and starts to reflect on her own behavior so I think there is a character development to be found
    (SPOILER WARNING)
I liked the ending as well I don't think that Junko is the villain in this game, I interpreted Tsumugi to be the master mind who is just imitating Junko Furthermore I think that the first two games were "real" events in the Danganronpa universe and only V3 takes place in a game show But I guess that's up to interpretation

      @CandyMali9 6 років тому +1

You don't have to get angry at my interpretation, like I said in my first sentence "It's always interesting to see how different people think of certain characters"
I just have a different opinion than you
As they are no "real" class they don't have to be the same age, these are just mostly random teenagers that participate in this killing game so why would they necessarily have the same age?
It's possible that the game implies Gonta to be younger than Himiko, I don't know, if it does I must have missed it
And as I said, I really like Himiko's character so I agree with you saying she gives emotional support, I just meant she wasn't that much of a help in finding the culprits
And I have the right to critique a game as much as I want, just like anyone else and not everyone has to agree with that
      1. I did pay attention, nobody can notice every single detail the first time around, I'm not god you know
      2. I just talked about my interpretation of the game and the characters, it has nothing to do with lying, it's just how I see the game
I do understand you mean well to educate me but try to be less angry and let other people have opinions too
We don't have to agree, it's what makes the world go 'round (:

    • @CandyMali9
      @CandyMali9 6 років тому

Jewell thanks for the apology. The thing is that I assumed they would be high schoolers but in different classes. I came to that conclusion because Rantaro was in the killing game the year before Danganronpa V3, so he wouldn't technically be in the other people's class, would he? Because he must be slightly older at least a year. So I thought that they do not have to be the same age, which would confirm that Gonta is younger than the others(I might really have missed this in the text) So can't Himiko be in like I don't know in Junior high school in like grade 7 or something like that? That would make her like 14 years old right? (I'm not quite sure about that because I'm not that familiar with the high school systems of Japan or the United States and I'm not sure to which on it refers in the English translation after all) I do realize that even 14 would make her a teenager but a pretty "young" one, assuming that other characters might be like 17 years old or something like that.
But I sure get your point that they all have about the same age.
Maybe I can change what I wrote in my first post from "she's a child" to "she's often acting childish"? Maybe that's more accurate after all.
Sure she does provide useful clues for the others to solve some of the trials, but she never really seems to connect the clues to get to the solution herself

@@flygonkerel781 thematically, it’s brilliant, the idea of deconstructing your own franchise to end it is pretty bold. Trying to protray the relationship between your audience and the games and parallel it with the characters could have been a really gripping experience and even thought provoking.
The whole game being about lies vs truths and hammering it til the end makes the reveal of their stories being fabricated something thematically adequate, and could even be existentialist, had it been done with a little bit of tact, exploring the true nature of reality and how both truths and lies are part of it. And the fact that the trial could have let you guessing what was real and what wasn’t is something not many projects can do.
That being said, the writing is god awful and the execution lacks subtlety, depth or any semblance of logic. The idea of also involving the first two games, and how it goes above and beyond to make everything feel pointless just makes the ending unsatisfying (one of the worst things a mystery novel can be) and frustrating (because, even if it isn’t what it could have been, the beginning of the trial, doing a rerun on Kaede’s case, is incredible imo).

Not onlythat there were clues thrown all over the game. For example, when Shuichi and Maki see the murder case files in his Lab Maki notices there are 52 files and Shuichi notices all the old files had illustrations and not real photographs. Shuichi then wonders if perhaps the implication is that the older cases are fictional cases. This is the most in our face foreshadowing of the big reveal because the murder case files in the Ultimate Detective'sLab are actually a collection of all the murders comitted in the 52 titles of Danganronpa, with the earlier titles being games and anime hence 100% fictional (thus illustrated and not photographed).
The fact that later cases have real photos also serves as a reminder that Real FIction is still Real Life. They are not a bunch of 1's and 0's in a program, nor some anime. They are just sixteen real life individuals who lost their memories and were implanted with entirely new memories of their past. The whole crap with Tsumugi trying to convince them they are fiction is actually a dicussion of semantics in the end. The mastermind claims that since their basic personality and their whole memory of their lives was "written" by someone else, they might as well be "fictional" even if they have real bodies. They were merely trying to make them fall deeper into despair by getting them to accept they are not real anymore and have no future to live for. Sadly for them Shuichi basically flipped the board on them and realized, if they had no future to live for, then they might as well use their lives to stop others from going through the same ordeals they did.

Metaphorically, you may think that, but it's quite the opposite. DR2 was the most rushed one, in fact. The 3rd trial was so bad because it was rushed. Fuyuhiko was originally gonna die and Hiyoko would have been a survivor but they thought that would make Peko's death pointless so they switched it last minute. That's why it seemed like Hiyoko was getting character development just to die in Chapter 3. Also, DR2 had a development time of only around 1 year while V3 had around 2.

I don't think you summed up this in review, but after all that critique you can say that writting quality took a massive downfall and not up to par to other 2 games. In first trial you instantly spot the mysterious door in girl's toilet, and generally it all leads to Tsumugi but then they decide that Kaede got the kill with the most convoluted way possible(and then in last chapter game blatantly laughs at you for believing so).
Second kill is no less idiotic in a way that culprit transported victim's body in such convoluted way and didn't thougth about braking until the last second. Hell, you could even use his hat to slow down.
Third kill is downright stupid cause you know who is the killer while killing is happening(and you can't stop it).
Fourth kill happens cause detective and his friends can't spot malicious intent and do not suspect anyone before class trials, and even then writer can't stop applauding to how smart he is for a really obvious secret in the case, while making culprit downright random.
The fifth case is the only one I found good in this game, coudn't settle down for answer until the conclusion(cause after all that preparation they could mess up with you even more, creating a signs of a changeup and end up not doing it on purpose).
And then writer decides to break everything down, but for what? For bringing up philosophical idea that fiction can influence people? I think people think about it when they are twelve. But even then it's not all.
In process he takes a huge dump on the player for playing morally questionable games and enjoying it(and if you think that wasn't their intent, think about it again. Even mediocre author would think about this because the parallels he draws between the player and the audience is too close, also developers test their games and it's not possible that even one tester not pointed that out), destroys all immersion that game ever had and even shits even more on his characters.
After major events of the game Shuichi is too psychologicaly strong and self-sufficient to give up on himself and not question everything Tsumugi says(what a detective). And even if audience gave up on this game, what stops them from watching the next one and enjoying it? People already knew that murders were real, they still enjoyed it and even wanted to took part in it.
So to sum everything up: Kodaka(main writer of the game) started thinking too highly of himself and tried to make another crazy ending half-heartedly while dropping the ball on everything else. Everything, from characters and setting to murder themselves were negatively affected while ending was a massive dissapointment and an ego stroke.
Fuck me if I buy another DR game without reading and watching people reviews.

There's two people in my opinion that I was glad they're dead was of course Tenko and Miu
Tenko was just not interesting for me and felt a little annoying but she was funny with her faces which kept me liking her and disliking her
Miu oh boy how much I hate her she was annoying as hell with all her sexual things on men just made me want scream in the pillow at how much her character and personality she was
    Again this is my opinion

Half of this video is just a combination of "I couldn't figure out X before the reveal, is bad!",
"Characters that I like died!", or a gross simplification of a character. Interesting opinion and thoughts though, 'twas quite the watch!

They could have pulled the exact same ending without shitting in the previous dr characters, the devs crearly wanted to make fans mad or just use the characters because fuck it, awfull ending for a very good franchise.

Choza de thunder no its because they wanted to end this series and now anlther game (which isnt a spinoff) wouldnt feel right because we have the feeling its a fiction anyway so no "real" persons or connections can be made unlike the other games. atleast thats my point of view to the ending

Kokichi would’ve been fucking awful as the mastermind. Also, for the second game Akane was going to be the mastermind.

Theres so much that I dont like about V3. The monokubs are useless and are just comic relief. The overuse the song "new world order"(which should only be used for major plot reveals or moments of resolve. Also while the twist that the mastermind really killed (spoilers) and also that really no one had to die does the job of adding despair, its still badly executed

"I got the impression from chapter three that the writers had run out of ideas, and were just making it up as they went along."
Congratulations, you got the point of the game. Or at least you should have.
The game is the writers saying to us, "Hey, we're running out of ideas, we've finished the story, we can't do this anymore." It's not them telling you to fuck off. They ran out of ideas so they had to come up with outlandish scenarios. This was a 'what if' situation where there were 53 Danganronpas, the writers ran out of ideas, and the fans became entitled.

I would love to counter... however... with what I learnt, those who aren't interested in their beliefs to be changed don't want to learn about the contradictions regardless.
I'd just be wasting my time.

As I’ve stated before, people who don’t like this game and it’s ending are people who don’t get it and usually seem to take the exact opposite meaning from things that were explicitly stated. I’ve never seen someone dislike this game who didn’t fall into this hole of somehow playing a version of this game that is opposite from itself in every way or was just whiny about things that didn’t make sense.

None of the characters were good. They were all clones of the previous casts.
