- 2015 and up honda accord have a common problem with the high pressure fuel pump going bad and makes rattle noises. Simple 30mins job.
For 3.5L v6 newer models, the high pressure pump pump is located under the intake manifold next to the throttle body. Must remove the intake manifold to get to the pump.

Thanks, I have a 2001 EX, I still found your video interesting.
i have accord 2015 sport this apply too??? sometimes the car does start little longer than usual but not a long crank. appreciate the response.
Check battery, crank sensor, weak starter.
@@Ah_Duuu_Ma well, the battery has been replaced in march got it from the dealer. my theory was starter but crank sensor was a new one. no check engine since i bought in 2018. should i just wait for check engine codes to pop in or you just replaceit it?
@@PEnZKE99 That's a good one. No check engine light is hard to say what's needed to be fix. As long as the car don't have check engine light, then it should be fine. The computer will detect it if there's any urgent problem. Don't replace anything if you don't know the exact problem yet, don't waste money. Its a Honda, reliable car.
Does the car go into limp mode if this goes bad? I think I’m have fuel pump problem or this thing went bad
@@elfabricator1309 No this would not go into limp mode, it could but i dont think it will happen. Limp mode only happen when electrical wires are broken or sensors not mechanical. Direct injection pump is mechanical issue.
@@Ah_Duuu_Ma ok thanks g from answering my question
Look up your VIN on the Honda recall webpage. there is a recall for some models with for the low-pressure fuel pump. Family 2020 CRV went into limp mode when its high-pressure fuel pump failed. Code P0087 with the dashboard turning into a Christmas display.
