Winter crappie fishing 1-7-24 finicky bite and motor issues

I headed down to peel Arkansas to put in at 125 marina and do some crappie fishing. I tried several different spots and different baits and the fish just wasn’t wanting to bite. I ended up back down in my usual spot and caught 6 crappie. When I went to leave my motor was flooding and didn’t want to run and I was a long way from where I launched.
