"Are you dropshotting me in History Channel: Battle for the Pacific?!"
This and the civil war game history made are two games that haunt my ps2 because those were all I had for a minute until I got the cod double pack with big red one and finest hour
YOOOOO, I REMEMBER THIS GAME! I never played the multiplayer but the singeplayer was fun as hell and honestly pretty good for its time. This is straight up my childhood
I had the wii version of this and given it was my first shooter game I have a soft spot for it as cheesy and B-ranking as it is. I loved the little history clips between the levels explaining what it was I was doing which have disappeared from games post CoD WaW it seems.
My childhood memory was playing this on Wii with the blaster accessory. Now that was an experience and a half
"Are you drop-shotting me in history channel's battlefield pacific???"
The graphics are really good for 2007
2:23 That man was just smited by a God.
The Ragdolls are the most realistic way of dying I've ever seen in a video game ever
I think it is Cod 1 that has the M1 Grand feature.Where u can't reload and have to completely use the magazine.
Can’t wait for History channel to finally release the much anticipated action adventure RPG The curse of Oak Island.
At least there is no "Premium holiday Santa Claus with candy rifle deluxe soldier" skin for microtransaction in the character select screen.
Man I played so much of those History Channel FPS games back in the days of windows XP
Instantly subbed for the song reference jokes. Me and my fr8e ds always do this, feels like I been needing this kind of content in my life 😂
Day of Defeat: Source has this feature where you can only reload the Garand when you empty the clip. One of the best arcade FPS I’ve played.
This guy is playing The History Channel's Battle for the Pacific
Meanwhile UA-cam: "Yes! Call of Duty World at War!"
Pov: rare historic footage of Japanese soldier cartwheeling through the air
The Battalion Wars music at the end of the video is the topper.
Somehow I get the feeling the game was supposed to run at 30fps instead of 60fps. Since those physics do not really like the 60fps cap.
Having PS2 and PS3 versions could also hint at " designed to be run at 30fps ".
I don’t know if anybody ever played or remembers them, but from the history channel website there was a directory of fps and plane games using the gMod engine. It was my first introduction to the engine and I figured it out after finally playing actual gMod myself. They had gulf war, ww2 Vietnam and post 9/11 campaigns that had actual fun multiplayer
Where can i play (Also gmod's engine is called source fyi)
Love the frisbeeing corpse just sliding out of view😂
Someone got ahold of the Soldier of Fortune: Payback engine............
The untold history of the golden claw hidden within a Japanese bone cairn somewhere in the pacific.
Bruh this just took me back. I grew up playing this
"are you drop shoting me?" I lost it
"We're no longer friends, BTW."
"Good."
"gimmie a funny sound i can censor it with"
**villager noise**
You can reload an m1 while it's loaded
34 seconds in, I have played the campaign before, it was painful. Memorable even...
The History Channel also made a couple FPS games you could play in your browser. One was in Vietnam and I think the other was a fictional modern war.
