This song CANNOT be played too fast. And it's just slightly faster than the official video (which is great in and of itself). Frick, I love this band. They're not intellectual, they're not subtle, they have a strict sound palette ... they're like none of my other favourite musicians (check out Kate Bush) but ... but ... I just go mental when I listen to their stuff.
He does appear on some songs and he is quite monstrous however you have to remember Kurt was a janitor and didn't have much notoriety before success. 20 years later for Dave to output significantly more only makes sense. Dave isn't the only one to master class with all instruments on an album, it's far less popular but scars on broadway has some solo and all instruments done by daron Malakian. I don't apteciate the softness Dave presents so I'm not a fan of his music but in terms of musicians he's one of the best to come from Canada and nowadays he does make a lot of music seem like nonsense. His screaming is even quite decent, even though Dave grohl never produces anything all that heavy.
Yep !!! Live at Reading Festival is the best gig they've ever done at time ! The No One Knows of this festival is my whole time favourite live song ever recorded on vid'
I love millionare but that's nick Oliveira, 3s and 7s was great too. For his time Josh kind of saved mainstream rock in his efforts along with some other late 2000s bands.
one hot straight up motherfucking rock song that pretty much says....fuck all this fancy shit we're guna show ya what a fuckin rock band n song should be!!
dunno...i actually think this one DOES have a smoothness to it. ...they're really, really in the pocket...like, deep. it's cool. i mean yea, i know what you're saying, but there's definitely an excellent mix and perfect groove here....but then again, i don't know who you're responding to and what they said, so...lol
Alot of bands punk it up live, hell I wish for example NIN sounded as great recorded as they did on stage back in the days (not that they don't sound good now, live or recorded)
No i didnt know that, and in my opinion, if hes not part of the band, he shouldnt appear in their videoclips either. If i were the official drummer, and some other asshead takes my place in the videoclips, id be pissed as hell. But thats just me. Grohl was brilliant in Nirvana.
@yovioleatuzorramadre I'd say their songs these days are tons more creative than way back in '98. As good as the first album is, it was (and lets be honest here) just Josh getting stoned and writing songs. They don't have any boring stage presence, they move about more now than they ever did.. because (once again) they were stoned. I think you need to listen to their albums in more depth, sounds like you gave each song 30 seconds
QOTSA At their best.
+Mattaf Kibbui Esh Now calm down there, Chuck.
This live version is so powerful!
When QOTSA were the best band on the planet!
Very powerful performance!
rocky balboa on the drums, he fucking rocks!
I miss the simple lineup of qosta

After Like Clockwork and Villains, I would say they're not subtle or they're not refined, but yeah I like this era of Queens too.
great fucking drum sound in this live
That for posting this
🙆♀️🤍❕️🙏🪽🪽🪽🕊
Best QOTSA song imo
Great live sound.
Massive snare drum sound also.
Grohl on this record is his best musical performance ever. In nirvana he was awesome. Songs for the deaf he was masterful.

I agree with you, till now nick olivieri don't have a substitute at his height.
what effect uses Troy Van Leeuwen in this song?
Joey Castillo
Did the bassist actually beat his girlfriend up? LoL Castillo is a fucking MONSTER!!!!

@deafornot8
No offense to you or your cause at all but did you really think that it was a good idea to advertise on THIS video?

Oliveira can sing anything josh can, he doesnt sound as smooth but hes a much better singer.
