@@AI-yc8om I guess it’s because we were the first girlband they signed that at the time could sing live very well, and could only do live because we didn’t know how to mime! lol In those days most labels were use to the miners as they wanted to concentrate more on the outer look ie image, energy in performances etc! By the time Misteeq came out (They were signed to Telstar, mother of Wildstar who we were with), the label realised what they needed to do. Everything in regards to marketing they did with them, it was supposed mirror our career, but unfortunatley this didn’t happen!
Indeed girl. The '70s, '80s, '90s and early '00s (2000-03) have the best mainstream music. 2004-present music in the mainstream is trash. It went pfft after 2003 ended and when 2004 started and continues today. Period.
That piano running in and out of this terrific tune puts a new sound into a classic. These talented three keep the original energy steady and true. Fantastic!
I'm all for these three getting together with Anita Baker for what I believe could be an epic mix of this song, similar to how John Michael Monthomery and All 4 One did that remix for I swear.
