Such a great song. I am a girl who mainly listens to R&B, but this song is a classic! I've loved this song since I was a kid. And as I grew up I came to appreciate how well Jennifer can really sing!
Ealy 90's, high school years, OK era! 1994-1995, college years, horrible era. 1996, starting to revisit, but 1997 to part of 2001, my army years, fun era, good music, good films, awesome pro wrestling!
not all over the world, in the same post-Soviet space where I came from there was a terrible crisis, crime, unemployment and poverty. but nevertheless, in the late 1990s and early 2000s, everything began to improve.
Her Voice! Been listening to this album again lately for the first time in years. Forgot just how good every song is, and all the sexy inflections of her purring voice
This tune is the definition of happiness. If someone ask you what's happiness you just have to play this song for him. Unlike other happy tunes, this one has some special positive vibes. I suggest you should be listening this tune on a rainy cold day and you'll know what I'm talking about.
Still loving it in 2016! Remember being a kid hearing this on basf cassette tape and then running around home yelling out "crush-ah-crush-ah" knowing only a few words in english. Now I am a proud US citizen and still love that little "crush" feeling!
I was a teenager when this song came out, and it was all over the radio wave especially Z100. 42 years old next summer and I realized that many of these songs propane to my particular situation. If there was a 90s nightclub that played only 90s music, I would definitely go or even open one up myself.
I remember when this song originally released. I was 14 and it had major radio air time back in 98. Kinda wished she had a longer career in the music industry but unfortunately she was more of a one hit wonder. Still awesome to hear after all these years.
Chris J Who was eclipsing female pop back then? Look what happed when Trey Songz came out.....male RNB singers careers were stunted, and he led for like 4 years. Wasn’t Britney crowning around this time?? I’m just saying it may have had more to do with her competition around that time.
@@rikindanger1079 actually I believe Paige's issue was more of bad timing due to something else. She released her sophomore album September 18, 2001; and it's common knowledge of what happened at that time. Most entertainment releases flopped right after 9/11...especially US releases...
Such a great song. One of those songs I didn’t really listen to specifically when I was younger, but heard it around. And now that I’m older and think about the era, this song has more relevance. Love it!

Woah! This song brings me back. I literally forgot it existed. How can this be possible? Hearing it after all these years gave me a slap of nostalgia in the face. It's actually pretty damn good. Catchy af, great vocals, nice production and all-around good song. It's crazy how a single song can bring back so many memories and feelings while also capturing the essence of one's life at a specific time.
I know what you mean, but some people don't remember Jennifer Paige. Most People remember Britney, Christina, N'Sync or Backstreet Boys as pop music artists back in 90's.
@CAÍN Y ABEL some people don't enjoy classic stuff. i also think this is one of the greatest pop songs ever written, there's something bewitching about it

I was 12 and obsessed when this came out. Then I was 20 on the college ballroom dance team and this came on during Cha Cha comps. Now I'm bout to hit 39 and it still hits just the same. THANK YOU JENNIFER!
This song is too beautiful for words. As many from 90s..but this.. This is something else, really special one. Gotta say that I'm sad cause I wasn't old enough to remember how this song was played on radio million times in a day. I wish I was teenager or in 20s when stuff like this was popular. Today, times have changed and I personally hate being part of this, shall I say, fake and boring generation.. Long live real music, real love and emotions from early 2000s and earlier!!!
Age has nothing to do with what music you enjoy. I was born in 1962 but love the music of the 50s and when I was a child, but grew to appreciate it as I got older. Most of the music today is crap, not all but autotune ruins it. Real musicians don't need to use that because of their natural talent. Jennifer Paige has such a beautiful voice, unlike, for example, Nicki Minaj.
yeah but i think for a lot of people the music out when your a teen sticks with you, example i was 16 when this was out and its gives me nice feels lol.
@@cathyskywalker77 But that's where you're going wrong. You're comparing completely different artists from completely different genres. Nicki Minaj is better compared to Salt'N'Pepa, for example, and Jennifer should be compared to modern artists like Taylor Swift, for example. 'Most of the music today is crap' shows your music stagnation. That's what the older generation said in the 60s about the modern music. There has always been shit music, and this generation contains no more or less shit music than previous musical eras. The internet exposes it to us much more, however.

@@atheratetuber The best! 😀👍
In Resident Evil is extremely hot.
@@slag80s That song really fitted the movie!
There's something extremely fascinating and alluring about this song (and video).
I think I first listened to it in 2001 and I never stopped ever since.
The most Sensually PERFECT Female Voice I've Ever Heard...
jennifer beat all of them leann rimes christina aguilera what ever
There is only two girls that has the best voices from the 90's. And it's Nina Persson from The Cardigans and Jennifer Paige because their voices are really unique and the most beautiful voices ever heard in my life in my opinion.
See you blowin' me a kiss
It doesn't take a scientist
To understand what's going on baby
If you see something in my eye
Let's not over analyze
Don't go too deep with it baby
So let it be what it'll be
Don't make a fuss and get crazy over you and me
Here's what I do, I play it loose
Not like we have a date with destiny
It's just a little crush
Not like I faint everytime we touch
It's just some little thing
Not like everything I do depends on you
Sha la la, sha la la
Sha la la, sha la la
It's raising my adrenaline
You're bangin' on a heart of tin
Please don't make too much of it baby
Say the word forevermore
That's not what I'm looking for
All I can commit to is maybe
So let it be what it'll be
Don't make a fuss and get crazy over you and me
Here's what I do, I play it loose
Not like we have a date with destiny
Vanilla skies, white picket fences in your eyes
A vision of you and me
Oh...such a long crush.I was 16 then and now 42,and still he has this spell over me...😍
You look pretty good for 42

This song is so BEAUTIFUL...
RIGHT. 🎉
I remember years ago someone commented here that this song doesn't come up, you always search for it. And it's true - we all search for it, because this is THAT song of our youth ❤
Such a great song. I am a girl who mainly listens to R&B, but this song is a classic! I've loved this song since I was a kid. And as I grew up I came to appreciate how well Jennifer can really sing!
its been more than 15 yrs....i still have a crush on her
Doctorr Zeus she is beautiful
Nearly 20 yrs! April 1998 ;)
The 90's were so good and positive. People were actually happy at that time. It's Impossible to not miss these times. ❤
*in the West😀
were you alive in the 90s?
😮
Ealy 90's, high school years, OK era! 1994-1995, college years, horrible era. 1996, starting to revisit, but 1997 to part of 2001, my army years, fun era, good music, good films, awesome pro wrestling!
not all over the world, in the same post-Soviet space where I came from there was a terrible crisis, crime, unemployment and poverty. but nevertheless, in the late 1990s and early 2000s, everything began to improve.
Her Voice! Been listening to this album again lately for the first time in years. Forgot just how good every song is, and all the sexy inflections of her purring voice
Ahhh the 90’s what a time 🙌
La mejor epoca❤
This tune is the definition of happiness. If someone ask you what's happiness you just have to play this song for him. Unlike other happy tunes, this one has some special positive vibes. I suggest you should be listening this tune on a rainy cold day and you'll know what I'm talking about.
gaaaayyy
Did you listen to the song?
Ahh the memories. I want these days back 😢😢
me too!!!!😭
yeah, me too... too much memory and I miss it
Mee too..so missing my old days
🙋
i was born in 1971, the music about 90s so simply but the best to me,miss its so badly.
I walked into this playing today (1-10-24) in one of my liquor store accounts, Man does this bring back memories and make me feel like I’m in my 20s
For some it means nothing, but for me it means alot. 98 best year of my lifetime.
it was the worst year of my life...it was when I was born
+Izzy Suber Don't say that.
My life sucks though
omg me tooo!!!!
In my life too!
In 1998 I was 15. I'm now 36... Seems like only yesterday!
Me too! You always wait to get older and then it goes by so fast!
I was 17 in 98 now 39.
@@bobbymonteforte3705 Same
@@valkir293 one of the greatest songs from the 90s even though its a One hit wonder.
I was 8 in 98 now 30 😍
Still loving it in 2016!
Remember being a kid hearing this on basf cassette tape and then running around home yelling out "crush-ah-crush-ah" knowing only a few words in english. Now I am a proud US citizen and still love that little "crush" feeling!
Good memories makes me sad I wanna go back to that place when music was beautiful and real. ❤
I was 22 and in Grad school and this song was a constant on my CD player as well as parties; good times.
My favorite line in the song is, "all I can commit to is maybe"! 💓
fosho
Still sounds as good today as it did back then. Timeless hit.
I can't get an erection.
Lies again? Facial Botox Face Book
👍
Definitely timeless and unique!! Sounds like the beach and a cold drink!
I always thought she'd come back with another hit but she gave us gold with this one song, thank you💜😊
@@patricew.4010 it was 100% because Britney and teen pop took over! The issue is everyone tried modelling their artists off her shortly after this.
@@rikindanger1079 actually I believe Paige's issue was more of bad timing due to something else. She released her sophomore album September 18, 2001; and it's common knowledge of what happened at that time. Most entertainment releases flopped right after 9/11...especially US releases...
I was 16
Such a great song.
One of those songs I didn’t really listen to specifically when I was younger, but heard it around. And now that I’m older and think about the era, this song has more relevance. Love it!
you appreciate it when you get older
same
My grandad was singing this while he was decorating he didn't know me and my Nana were watching him while he was using the paint brush as a mic. One of the funniest things I have ever seen.
🤣🤣🤣😂😂 must be one of your good memories..
catherine Morrison was he painting the house? Haha adorable. Or a painting? Would love some answers
@John MacArthur 😂
This is the most wholesome thing I’ve ever read.
@John MacArthur 💀💀💀😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👍
I’m almost 13 years old and I’m in love with this music! Trust me, some kids still appreciate these masterpieces.
kid quick advice, dont stay in one style, everything have a good and bad side
Don’t worry man, I’m not consistent in staying with one style.
Thanks though, I’ll remember it when I need it. Probably won’t remember, but who knows.
One of the most iconic Pop songs of all time. Jennifer Paige still waiting for your comeback.
Love this song saw Jennifer page today at sea world. She still have a beautiful voice a very sweet person. I also took a picture with her.great concert 🎶 😊
I was always PERPLEXED by how awesomely well made this song was. She's so beautiful, she has SUCH a good singing voice, the lyrics are mindblowing, and the songs puzzle pieces all fit well together. Mind baffling and Mind boggling at the same time. Im in AWE of this song.
YEAH
The market was flooded with Brittney, Christina, and Jessica. Sprinkle in Pink and Janet Jackson and your treading deep water.
Very good video.
Love this song. That bass is so addictive. Timeless ❤
Here to say Jai Paul absolutely killed the cover of Crush and hearing the original I can see why he chose this song to cover. It's a banger
This song is SUBLIME. It's 1990's happy and sexy and cool. The vocals and adult and intelligible. The video is spot on. I love it.
Love this song and Jennifer Paige!! Brings me back to my teenage years in the amazing 90's. Glad she is making a comeback. ♥️
Great song!
I've always liked this song, but had forgotten it over the years (not a song I would want to have forgotten). I'm glad to have found it & listen to it again!
I was so in love with this song when it came out, so much nostalgia for that time frame in my life. I'd always swoon when she sings "Vanilla skies, white picket fences in your eyes". I love this song.
Literally one of the best songs ever. I been listening to it since I was in 5th grade, I am now 35. God bless you Jennifer Paige. Signed a LIFETIME Hip Hop head who loves GREAT Pop music
Here we are, 4/4/24
Perfect lyrics
Perfect baseline
Perfect vocals
To be expected from that era.
Honestly I don't what people think. Personally I feel like this is one of the best pop songs ever written and produced.
I know what you mean, but some people don't remember Jennifer Paige. Most People remember Britney, Christina, N'Sync or Backstreet Boys as pop music artists back in 90's.
@CAÍN Y ABEL some people don't enjoy classic stuff. i also think this is one of the greatest pop songs ever written, there's something bewitching about it
I agree
This song is so addicting! This came out when I was 12, still remember it! Long live the 90's.
YEP....this song is very catchy.....great pop song
My God what a gorgeous voice in an exquisitely crafted pop song of the 90's! great music to listen to whenever!
I woke at 1:06 this morning with this song in my head. Had forgotten all about it. Promptly added to music playlist.
Me too
This song is literally TIMELESS. Every time I hit on someone I brought myself to wherever this song could be reached.
Every now and then I’m in the mood for this song. Such a classic ❤️
That's a killer, million dollar chorus.
Has that classic 70s feel.
I'm glad everyone still enjoys 90s music😅 I played it one time and heard it every where like two yrs ago
Saw the new Resident Evil movie yesterday, and it has one of the weirdest (and possibly unintentionally funniest) uses of this song I've ever seen in a movie.
It was great!🤣
Loved the scene! 😂😂😂😂
I used Google to get recognized this song in theater🤣😆
It was so unexpectedly funny, i almost chocked on my icee
Lol
I am 30 years old.. i knew i heard this song at some point in my childhood. I woke up to this song in my head this morning
I passed out in a truck stop bathroom. When I woke up the tune of pain and tears was loud.
Here I am almost 37, a proud Mom of 3 teenage daughters and yes I did pass on everything I love from the 80s and 90s, from music, fashion and even awesome school supplies ( yes they all 3 got epic trapper keepers and yes they are back) 🖤
I was 12 and obsessed when this came out. Then I was 20 on the college ballroom dance team and this came on during Cha Cha comps. Now I'm bout to hit 39 and it still hits just the same. THANK YOU JENNIFER!
I was 11 when this song came out..
Brings back so many childhood memories.. Great ones of course.
This song came out in 1998 right? I was 11 yo too
I'm Vintage! Nice expression! This song always boost me.
Yeah the good old days. Along with computers running Windows 95 :)

Wow this just hit memory lane and being at the skating rink as a kid with no worries
I have no clue why, Jan '21 is the first time that I realized that this song is off the hook 💯🎶👌🏽 I've been listening to it my whole life...What a hit!!! You don't hear music like this anymore
Very true...
I'm glad they put it in the radio
