I’ve had work trials and also volunteer positions that was paid through an agency when I was younger and it may help maybe with soft skills in preparing for work, but it doesn’t really land an actual job out of it. It’s finding something and then partnership the employer is going to partner and train the person. Yes, I like the in place idea. It’s great that vocational rehab or even natural supporters can see or say potential but it’s really the employer that needs to see that potential. I’m 34, have not found the job yet, but always looking.
