Here in Canada, I have witnessed myself employees who are supposed to help disabled people get and keep jobs, they help employers instead and abuse the system to make more money for the companies. The subsidies paid by the government were used to save the companies money and not to help and integrate the disabled. Disabled people just want to love, be loved and belong, just like everyone else 😢
They make them work for less than minimum wage and for free as interns? So the rich owners of the businesses are getting free labour off of disabled people? That's messed up. Pay living wages.
It is a 4 week internship and it's not unheard of for internships to be unpaid, especially given the circumstances (e.g he knows nothing about cars). Honestly I think doing this would probably end up costing the business owner (not sure why you assume they are rich). It'd be easier for them to just hire someone that they wouldn't have to train so much.
@@l01j99 still doesn't help people get hired. There are so many ways to discriminate against disabled people that most never get past the first stage or can even apply.
Bravo to German law and the people for giving the disabled a chance to work. Here in Canada we have laws for hiring disabled people but they are not enforced and businesses and government entities don’t feel pressure to hire disabled persons as for work shops we have none and therefore not too many people with disability work at least the majority with visible disability
At least they are able to receive opportunities to survive in their own. In most parts of the world we don’t even have any of that or even accepted by society or family .

My condition causes sleep disturbances that prevent me from adhering to someone else's schedule. While I may be able to work for a couple of days in a row, consistent employment is not feasible for me.
