@@darthbanana7 not sure if you were being sarcastic if so then sorry in advance but if not…then um yeah..that’s kinda the point of the video. It’s literally taking all the stereotypes of the genre and putting it into one song lol
I’ve always sorta wanted a 7 string but now I’m certain. I love the mix of melody and chaos. It gives it meaning, also awesome placement of pinch harmonic and bow-wows.
Its great if you are very familiar with a 6 string in standard for leads and chord stuff but want the option of a very low drop tuning. I play with a low A which lets you do all those dropped tuning chimaira on crack riffs but leaves 6 strings in standard.
@@AJPMUSIC_OFFICIAL Yep, that's me. I have been doing some research on what 7 string I want. I am gravitating towards the Schecter KM7 mkIII hybrid and also like some of the solar and agile models. I want something that I can change the tuning of easily (not a Floyd rose), and it NEEDS to have a sharp headstock. I have a Jackson reverse headstock and I absolutely fell in love with the pointy sleekness of it. What 7 string do you have? do you have any recommendations between $900-$1,500?
@@samd535 not the same guy but I have a Schecter Hellraiser C7 hardtail and love it to bits. It has active EMG which is cool, hardtail TOM style bridge and locking tuners so changing tunings is easy. It's just an all round awesome riff machine
@@samd535 I know this is not what you asked but I had to return my Solar guitar that I got about 6 months ago due to cracked ebony fretboard. So be careful if you live in a country that gets cold and snowy outside (and dry inside) and maybe don't go with Solar or make sure it never dries out too much. Lots of ppl have had issues with this, but it seems like its their ebony fretboards that REALLY don't like dry climate... Hopefully they work it out in their production process tho (I guess they rushed the treatment of the wood or something) because that guitar was freaking awesome. Found a good deal on a used ESP LTD ec-407 (basically in perfect condition) instead so I even ended up saving some money in the end so all is good...
Even though this is somewhat satirical this actually slaps and is well on par if not above what a bunch of deathcore bands nowadays are doing. You should do more of this format with other genres!
This was good enough that I instantly heard vocals over it & even got like A couple lines of lyrics that made sense together, thrown together at the spur of the moment I should dig deeper on that, fucking bravo man. This slaps
That was sick and inspiring, my brother! I just got myself a 7-string Schecter to play Death Metal and Death Core riffs. This is gonna be part of the homework of putting the lower B string into use.
You are literally one of my favorite guitarists of all time. Your riffs are so intense and nasty man and the diversity within the same genre blows me away man. Fucking keep on killing it bro!
1:57 sounds like Symphonic Post-Apocalyptic Reindeer-Grinding Christ-Abusing Extreme War Pagan Fennoscandian metal (from the movie "Heavy trip", watch it, it's a fun movie to watch with friends. Song is Flooding Secrations by Impaled Rectum :P
just the right mix of vibing to music, info with what scales and chords are used and straight up entertainment, a shame this doesnt have more views :( im subbed for sure now, thanks algorhythm
Lit vid man. I've noticed two things: deathcore sounds like aggressive theme for main character, by things like: 5150 alike tones and diversity of things in composition, clear bright production. And in other hand dm and bdm of 90s, sound like theme for villain/antagonist, by things like raw murky production, sharp scooped tones, just riffing and nothing excess. What do u think?
Really cool, sick, menacing and groovy..Good composition too, the parts fit well..and I love the tone too..I 'very subscribed, something I almost never do..It's guttural and dense, pummelling, the way heavy music's supposed to sound, hat off!
Not a deathcore fan but seeing the comments of deathcore fans say "this is better than 95% of deathcore i hear" makes it sound like the genre is in a sorry state lol
Riffs of the utmost quality as usual! You ever thought about selling tabs? Not an idea I really like from the bigger "youtube guitarists" but I would absolutely support that from you
Bro, you're giving away secrets I spent ten years learning 😂❤😈🤘 (Also reminding me of a few I forgot) I so needed this, bro I love and hate u so much lmao
Hot take, deathcore was rightfully shit on in its infancy, but is now a pretty respectable sub - genre with some absolutely solid bands Sick playing btw, loved every bit especially the slam part

W IA i fucking love their shit
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh🎉
This video is 100% spot on BUT I was waiting for a “play the breakdown but SLOWER” section at the end 😂
Algorithm recommended this video.
Not disappointed. Killer tone. Awesome playing. Miles ahead of 95% of the deathcore stuff I hear 🤘🏻
I mean no offense to this dude by any means, but this is pretty standard deathcore....
@@brianbaugusmusic yeah it’s like a generalization of the genre lol

I f'ing love my 7 string, this is exactly the sort of video that I needed to get new ideas. Thank you.

That dancing b-string e.g. at 01:52 😍. Love these visual captions. Awesome riffs and brutal guitar tone 👏.

its on 90% better, than all new generic deathcore shit. Technical, creative, not booring, thanks!
You absolutely killed it man. Really love your playing style!
Some of these riffs are really good, I like the fact that you've showcases these stereotypes in the context of a good (generic) deathcore song!
As a deathcore fan, I loved this, you did awesome
This is much better than 90% of all deathcore I’ve heard.
I know, I didn't think I liked deathcore until I heard this...
Y'all should check out a band named Analepsy if you liked this video.
Hello, May i introduce you to our Lord & Saviour "Shadow Of Intent" ??
if you liked this I would recomend Lorna Shore. I don't like deathcore all to much but this band is an exception.
That's because it's not really deathcore it's just death metal.
great stuff, amn, brings back some good old memories!
Can confirm
The “Wicked Intro” got Spite influence
This is absolutely sick! So glad that This popped up on my UA-cam "you may like" page. Subbed!

This ALSO proves why I love it. I fucken loved every second of this.
Ridiculously tight riffing, love it. 🔥
That sounded so brutal. Fantastic playing and the production quality was superb. Excellent video.
That's brutal, I like it!
I wish deathcore bands sounded like that.
This is fantastic. That wicked intro is like if Morbid Angel were to make a deathcore song.
Now that was fckn sick!!🙌🏽 killer song and tone, awesome
Bro ur stuff is always amazing. U write and seem to like the same kinda style I do. Keep just destroying them riffs bro!!!
One of the best bass tones I have heard in a while!

nice playing man. even though i would never tell anyone, i still love deathcore lol
Haha I love the South Park style disclaimer at the beginning!

it is.
lots of good revival bands but they dont get any mainstream attn for the better prob
Your right hand technique is absolutely stunning 😵
TBH some of these examples are better than most modern deathcore, very nice 👏
Riffs of the utmost quality as usual! You ever thought about selling tabs? Not an idea I really like from the bigger "youtube guitarists" but I would absolutely support that from you
Awesome! Great song thats flows well and does indeed have the tropes of deathcore

You killed it man! Congrats!!
I hope one day I can play guitar as well as you. I'm just picking it up again.
Я бы купил треки Алексея. Выложенные в Айтюнс. Это в моем понимании музыка и творчество - здорово что развивается данное направление.
This is virtually perfect 7 string tone
Honestly a lot of this would pass as a Signs of the Swarm. Brutal as fuck
Охренительно, че))) рубка на пять, риффы вкуснячие, даже с юморком сегодня;)
Absolutely brutal. 🤘🤘 You have some real talent. I’m glad I ran across your channel.
SO GOOD‼️ Very good video‼️ simple, no bullshit, informative and fun‼️
this song is so good.... please release this in a band or something
These are sick af dude Haha. I litterally just typed in deathcore and this was like the 5th video. Glad I clicked it...subbed!!
The middle dissonant part of the tune sounds a lot like Immolation. Fucking Killer man!
The groove part was insane man! I mean everthing was insane😅 but that riff was just brutal sick
1:58 IMMEDIATE stink face lmao such a good riff
Hot take, deathcore was rightfully shit on in its infancy, but is now a pretty respectable sub - genre with some absolutely solid bands

It got more shit once it got over saturated with clone bands that sounded alike
Holy fuck, that was amazing to watch and the guitar playing was brutal 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Lol even as formulaic as it may be, you still can’t help but fucking groove to the down tempo breakdown
I be liking them riffsssss.
