I hated the role queue in OW. O just wanted to play the game but I was restricted to only tank or support or else I'd have to wait 10+ minutes sometimes just to get in a game
@cukman1643 u mean if I actually prefer to play the game? Yes definitely. Sometimes u get shit games but if ur in a lobby with 5 dps u might as play dps too
@@cukman1643TF2 has been highly beloved and very successful for a long, long time and it doesn’t force you to role queue. You can have entire teams of spies vs medics, it doesn’t matter, it’s player freedom and it’s fun. That being said, if a team refuses to play like a team and subsequently lose, then yeah that’s the way it has to be. TF2 had of course a competitive mode to delineate any concerns when it came to that, and also had community servers where people can enforce their own rules. That way everyone is happy, so can’t see why we can’t have elements of that again.
@@cukman1643 i mean if you play in lower tier sure it'll be like that but if you go plat above i don't think there's a problem like that anymore since people already know that support in this game have crazy amount of damage so you can actually have fun with support and as long as you don't healbot you can actually carry the game
@ I like Luna Snow, she’s the only support I enjoy, but if someone takes her and we only have one healer it’s just not fun. It doesn’t matter if support can be fun if I want to play dps I should be able to, and sometimes I just wanna play quick play and it’s just not fun with no healers
Hell no. It’s way more fun without role Q. Plus if role Q is added then players wont be able to make comic teams like The Avengers, The Fantastic 4, etc
It’s not more fun to be forced to play healer or tank every game if you want a chance to win lol, I’ve had 6 games in a row where I literally had to play healer
@ I had games where I had no healers while the enemy team did & we still won due to counters & skill at eliminations. It’s all a matter of who to eliminate first.
The main problem is people play characters they’re not proficient at. If someone takes your character then you have to choose someone else. There are proficiency ranks so maybe they should lock out characters you’re not proficient at and require you have a few characters at a proficiency level before you can even play competitive. That way you still have the flexibility of roles
I dont want role que because I will have games where I wanna play Squirrel Girl, but I just can't make anything happen. If I was locked out of being able to swap to Rocket when that happens, I'd be pretty mad.
The amount of times I have changed from DPS to Healer for the sake of wanting to have a better time, since constantly dying or looking for health point, isn't fun, makes me go against a role queue.
Easy resolve. Everyone gets to set up a preferred roles and matchmaking takes those into account when forming teams. Or even more simple, a system to set a role and look for a party to play with.

Exactly
Role queue would be too rigid. I do would like a role limits or some way to ensure there's atleast a tank and support player on the team in ranked
I'm BACK, How's everyone's games been going!? 🔥

Yes. Atleast give people the option that want to use it. Overwatch has both modes and its fine.
@@zakk3153 no one plays open queue in ow and it splits the ranked player base

No 3 vanguards 3 supp is ftw.
when they add a role queue I will stop playing and Im saying that as a 80% time support.
Short answer is No, we don't need role Q.
Hell no
Role queue literally killed Overwatch so don't do that
No.
no
Yes cause idiot just go DPS causing losses when I have to tank 5 people knowing what there doing.
Fuck no.
DO NOT ROLE QUEUE.
