I worked at Goodwill and our collectors and flippers were some of our best customers. You got to know whose interest was what and I got to know who were the poop-disturbers. One was so spiteful, her thing was gold so she wasn't really interested in anything other than jewelry but if she saw two particular people in there (one was vintage WWII and WWI books and the other was also jewelry but gems, not metals) she would scoop all of those items and walk around with them in her cart, then "change her mind" when the person was gone. What??? It's not like they were "competition". Another lady had a small thrift store in a farming community about 150miles away so she bought a lot of clothing. Someone told me "you know she marks them up and sells them..." We don't care - it's not scalping. Once we sell it, it's no longer our concern what you do with it. Happy treasure hunting!
Thank you so much for sharing Missymouse!! I have so many lovely eBay and Instagram customers in different states and countries buy an item from me and thank me for making it available for sale. Some have been looking for a particular treasure for years and have just never been able to find it! 😊💕
I’m not a reseller, but not having comps on eBay seems to me like a good thing. If you like it, maybe someone else will too, not? And you will not have as many competitors for your sales. I also think some modern pieces are very nice and desirable; I always think that the vintage pieces were modern once.
My favorite find was the .99 green Hull planter. What a deal!! The prices at your Goodwills are so much more reasonable than where I live. I actually don't really go to GW very much anymore bc of their prices.
I love how you explain everything about the quality of the dishes and all of the items you check out. Wow and items there are so expensive. Good evening Tiffany, I have been binging your videos all weekend. I have to say you have inspired me to start thrifting. It is a little overwhelming because I can’t remember all the names of the items that are worth purchasing. I will have to view the videos again and write the brands or makers names/brands down for future reference. I do have a question I LOVE glasses (wine, margarita, whiskey etc.) and I would love to know what are some good brands/names I could look for, for fine glasses? When you have a moment would you let me know so when I start I know who to look for?
Hello Maria! Thank you for watching my channel! Some good brands of glasses to look for are Waterford, Baccarat, Wedgwood. Lenox and Riedel. Good luck and enjoy the hunt! 😊
The Japanese lacquer swivel tray looks to me like a “chip ‘n dip” tray! The “well” in the middle of it is fir the dip. I can imagine baby carrots, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, etc. In the dividers. Wish I could find one I our thrift stores in Alabama! I spent a wonderful three months in Tokyo, playing the piano and singing professionally. And my son Lee spent two years in Japan, teaching English. He recently passed away. 💔

Tiffany, great video. Liked the way you explain why you are picking up one thing and not the other. I liked your store: nice and neat. I am new to the EBay, and have things at home to resale, Did not have luck with my NeOrleans jewelry boxes or a cameo box, or my empty liquor bottles that my husband has. Just clearing my things at home, anf maybe one day will go thrifting. I want to learn how you are pricing the things you have picked up. Hope to find them on you store display. Thank you again. Nice display of all things, next time educate on how you are planning to price them at least couple of those. Mikasa brand Incan figure out, I know Mikasa brand. But the others are fun to learn. Good luck and till next video.

That's so interesting! Thank you so much for the great info... I'm so fascinated by the amount of detail they are able to show in the lithopane images, I always look for them. 😊💕
I found a Shelly teacup made in England in a thrift store. I checked it out online and it’s valued at $115. It was so intricately crafted I just knew it was worth something. Since I’m an avid tea drinker I’m keeping it as a keepsake.
That's awesome, its so fun to find a treasure that you can use and enjoy! Thank you so much for watching! 😊💕
@@ThriftingVegas It is! Thank you.
The oblong green planter is a Judy of California mid-century piece. I'm a new viewer.I enjoy your videos. I'll be back!
Thank you Phyllis, I just love the green glaze! Thank you so much for watching, I'm really glad you're enjoying my videos! 😊💕

Goodwill in Philadelphia and New Jersey gives you two colors every Sunday for a dollar and the rest of the week those colors are 50% off not bad

First time watching. Thank you for sharing this information with us.
Hi Dinas! Thank you so much for watching, I'm really glad you enjoyed it! 😊💕
@@ThriftingVegas No problem.
I would have brought the first green planter loved it. We dont have big thrift stores like yours in the U.K.
Oh Sue... I've had so many messages about that little green planter, I have no idea why I didn't pick it up! Live and learn! 🤗 What's your favorite thing you've found in a Charity Shop? Thank you so much for watching! 😊💕
I'm a new subscriber and really enjoy your videos. Our GW prices in Florida are three to four times higher than yours... and lots of junk. You're very fortunate!
Hi Lynn! Thank you so much for subscribing, I'm really glad you're enjoying the videos. I usually have pretty good luck at our Las Vegas Goodwills, (although some are definitely better than others) but the Goodwill I visited with my Dad (in Huntington Beach, CA) in my most recent videos is honestly the most AMAAAAZING Goodwill I've ever been to!!! 😊💕
I never seen in 69 cents items in the good around here. Wow nice and organized.
Thank you for watching Lucha! 😊💕
New subscriber.
Love the calm video with good explenation.
I love thrifting.
Mostly for myself or for gifts.

When I was in Vegas I shopped at goodwill at Silverado ridge ...they had some great stuff. Loved it ..my sis and I had a blast they just opened that week..Love the heart vase you picked up.
Thank you Linda, I'll definitely have to try the Silverado Ridge store! I love the heart vase too...(I've been hoarding it on my shelf.... shhhhhhh! 🤫😄) Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment! 😊💕
Tiffany, great video. Liked the way you explain why you are picking up one thing and not the other.
I liked your store: nice and neat.
I am new to the EBay, and have things at home to resale,
Did not have luck with my NeOrleans jewelry boxes or a cameo box, or my empty liquor bottles that my husband has.
Hello Ada! Thank you so much for watching and subscribing and for your helpful input. I can absolutely include how I plan to price some items in my Ebay store in future videos!! I'm so glad you're here! 😊💕

I got lucky today, I bought Longchamp Cristal D’Arques along with the Pitcher for 40 service ALL for just $25. Goodwill is amazing!
When you forget your blanket or need another layer of cushioning, go to the bedspread/towel area, grab something from there and return it before you leave.
Your channel was recommended.
New sub here!
I love your finds.
Thank you so much for watching Sandra I'm really glad you're enjoying my channel!😊💕
Merry Christmas to you and your family
How come I never see Fenton at your goodwill's?
Hi Linda, I do occasionally find some Fenton pieces. I'm always happy when I spot them on the shelves! 😃💞
That "green thing" is a gravy boat - necessary for holiday tables like Christmas and Thanksgiving.
Thank you Dolores! I absolutely loved it, its so unique. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to let me know! 😊💕
New subscriber. Love your finds. I head to Vegas all the time and have been thinking about looking at some of the thrift shops there. Great haul

I always pick up Hall pieces
I'm a new subscriber. Great shopping! Love your accent!
Thanks so much Gail! 😊 I'm really glad to have you shopping along! 😊💕
The crystal/glass clocks!!! some of them could be worth good money always worth checking!!
You don’t sound like your from L A...You got some great things ,nice to see a nice variety of things ,rather than more or less the same thing that some but..Prices are better than the U.K. charity shops for sure.I used to do EBay years ago but the prices started getting silly then
Hi Christine! You're right.... I grew up in the Midlands in the central part of England! Prices are all over the board here too, but I can usually find some great pieces for a steal. Thank you so much for watching, I'm glad you're enjoying my channel! 😊💕
..I had just walked in from mailing a package at the post office ..then went by our Christian ministry (where everything is one dollar …and there you were on YT, doing exactly what I had just done …😁. I found a black and silver blouse perfect for a wedding shower I’m attending next week.
I have never seen u pick up shoes before, interesting
I'm new just found your channel and loved it.😊 from boulder city Nv 💞
Hi Irene! I love Boulder City, we go down to Lake Mead quite a bit in the summer time. 😊Thank you so much for watching, I'm really glad you're enjoying my channel! 😊💕
The green ‘serve ware’ piece with the white squiggles is Beauceware. Great video
Kathy! Thank you SO much for letting me know! Its a piece I'd never seen before, and you taught me about a "new to me" vintage brand. I really appreciate you watching my channel, so glad you're here! 😊💕
You're nails look great!!
Love your videos!
Its interesting to see what the different area Goodwills sell and for what price. Glassware in our area like the green and clear vtg ones sell for so little. I was shocked to see the 5.99 price on your GW pieces. Nice finds!!
Hi Janette! That is really interesting! I think with the recent increase in popularity of depression and vintage glassware, Goodwills have started to raise their prices. I need to come visit your area and buy up all the glass before they catch on! Thank you so much for watching! (Your kitty looks like my Ziggy!) 😊💕
Great finds. Love it when you go thrifting with your parents and family.
Thank you so much! I'm really glad that you enjoyed it! 😊💕
I buy things from st Vincent's stores always find interesting things
Good will down here in Pembroke Pines Florida is sometimes expensive. Sometimes you find good staff:.....sometimes.
Hi Lucha! How do the prices compare to what you see in my videos? What has been your favorite find? Thank you so much for watching! 😊💕
The clear glass trinket bowl is an Avon candle holder for their translucent candles. They were refillable from Avon, I dont know if they still are.
Thank you Cat! I used it as a base for a ceramic egg at Easter, it was perfect! Thank you for watching! 😊💕
