@ZoeBirdie214 A few months ago, I took a late night drive just to clear my head, and as I was zoning out listening to music, I happened to glance out through my passenger window and could've sworn I saw a body laying near the street?! I wasn't sure, so I popped a u-turn, and sure enough, there was a dude laying near the street with a bike tipped over on top of him. He must've fallen off the bike trail somehow. I had no idea if he was hurt or if he was even alive, so I parked my car on the side of the road and ran over to him. Thinking back, that probably wasn't a good idea because it could've been a setup or something, but I was so panicked that nothing like that crossed my mind until I told people this afterwards and they scolded me for it. Anyway, I saw that he was breathing, so I called 911 and explained that I'd come up on a random unconscious man. It was so weird; he was about mid-20s, was wearing trendy clothes, definitely didn't seem homeless or anything...he even had an iPhone that was a couple of feet away from his body. I'm guessing maybe he fainted or something? Idk. I waited until the cop came, and then headed back home because I was freaked out by that point. @@carolynw3602 That's the point. I'm not saying witness needed to put themselves in danger, of course not, but a call to authorities was a must. If one person is being forced then it's a dangerous situation for them, might not be as vile as this case, but still, violence needs to be reported.
I'm from Alabama and remember this vividly. I hoped she'd be found safe but when the news hit it was devastating. Aniah seemed like such an awesome young woman with a kind soul. You can tell she got it from her mother. Angela is such an amazing and strong woman. I had a niece from a previous marriage who was murdered in 2021 by a guy that was supposed to be her friend. She was only 17. Angela reached out to her mom and has been a support system for her. RIP Aniah Blanchard and Layla Watson. 💙💜 Angela, if you ever read this, my heart and my thoughts are forever with you and your family.
This country is run like a business. If they can find a way to generate revenue, they will do it. Making money is more important than the safety of its citizens.
Man I busted out crying about 17 times throughout this video. Every time her brother cried, I cried. Her mom and dad had tears, I lost it. Even her friend. Ugh. What a tragedy.
This is one of the saddest stories. I remember Aniah's story so vividly because my daughter's name is Nya and they were around the same age at the time. My daughter was attending college in another state about 5 hours away. As soon as I heard this story I was on her phone checking in. I cried so hard when they found this beautiful girls body. My daughter graduated college in 2022. I'm so sorry Aniah was taken away from her loved ones. She left a beautiful legacy in the short time she was here.
They feel nothing. Judges live in gated communities and can afford private security. They feel NOTHING. Esp. demoncratic judges. Demons are evil to their soul.
I can't imagine the scene of Walt being in so much pain that he resorted to punching a concrete wall. My heart breaks so much for Aniah's family. Lord, please bring comfort to this family.
Devastated for her brother and her parents. What a beautiful family. Just so heartbreaking. My prayers go out to them. I wish them all the love and healing they so deserve🙏.
I don't usually cry during these episodes but the monumental amount of love and heartbreak towards Aniah at the end got me pretty bad. She is loved _so much_ and she'll be remembered forever as truly a special person. My heart goes out to her parents, brother and friends. I'll never understand how the most beautiful and brightest people are taken away like this...
Scary how this was her biggest fear, being kidnapped/mxrdered. It makes you wonder if people "know" their fate sometimes, like subconsciously, without knowing..
More likely is a phenomenon similar to repetition compulsion, where people unconsciously engage in certain behaviors that put themselves in vulnerable situations as a way to cope with the trauma of the first event. In this case, there was never an initial event to repeat, but maybe because Aniya was so fearful of it, she appeared as an easy target to predators. This was horrible to listen to because it reminded me of myself- constantly checking doors, irrationally checking under beds/doors when you’ve already checked. She must’ve been so scared.
The fact that he KIDNAPPED, beat, and robbed not only one elderly man, but did the same thing to a second man as well, and was allowed to just walk out the door until his trial is insane, but, disgustingly, NOT surprising within our criminal “justice” system that routinely, and really is designed TO, protect the people accused of these crimes over their innocent victims, and the public-at-large. If someone has no problem KIDNAPPING even ONE person, let alone two, they absolutely won’t hesitate to do it again if given the opportunity. Not much else could constitute a threat to the public more than that. That is SUPPOSED to the biggest deciding factor in determining whether someone gets bonded out or not.
Stuff like that is because judges are scared of defense lawyers. Guys that care about "fair" trials for everyone. Big fat liars. They don't care about people or the laws they defend. They only care about wins and loopholes.
@@jimwerther not wrong a lot of Democrat cities are giving little to zero dollar bonds even for redefenders of violent crimes.. some of these people are walking around with 20+ felonies by the age of 20 it's crazy..
@@ItsagooGlo-bw6hk gawd, y’all just write things and pretend they’re facts. It’s absolutely wild. Just because you’d LIKE something to be true, doesn’t mean it IS. That’s a blatantly false statement. “Informants” aren’t the ‘reliable’ source of information that the 80s & 90s, and films, made them out to be, and prosecutors are increasingly utilizing them less & less because of how often their information is absolutely bogus. They’d rather not look like fools. No, the ‘justice’ system just routinely doesn’t work in the favor of victims, it’s not really what it was intended for, unfortunately, and we haven’t made many strides to turn things in that favor over many decades. We have a broken system that regularly churns out offenders who shouldn’t be released, because we have FAR too many people imprisoned who SHOULDN’T have been in the first place, we have no place to put people, and too many people would rather release these violent offenders & not make their sentences more harsh than release or lessen the sentences of nonviolent or petty, minor drug offenses. You can trace a lot of this nonsense back to the gigantic black eye for this country that is the bogus “war on drugs”.
Once again, our criminal justice systems favors the criminal. A man who should have been no bond whatsoever was freed to commit his fourth violent act within a year.
In another country (middle east, china etc) he would have been executed after his other crimes, we coddle and cater to criminals here and this is what we get.

When the mom asked if she could see her daughter’s remains… I broke down and cried. As a mother myself, the first thing I would want to do is hold whatever is left of my child to comfort them one last time 😭😭😭💔💔💔
I lived right across the street from Aniah at that time, was 21, and that Chevron was my go-to gas station where I went at least twice a week. It has always been so eerie and devastating to think it was her but could’ve been me.
She just stopped to buy a bag of chips. who would ever think a quick stop for a snack, like many of us have done, can lead to crossing paths with an animal like that? What a sweet girl she was, too, so sad, I remember when this happened. So many of us prayed and prayed , that judge should be held accountable. Bond on a kidnapping charge? let it happen to a judge's kid and see how fast things change.
Truly a heart breaking case. Aniah didn't deserve that tragic end. I believe another reporting of this case mentioned that she fought back instead of complying. In this case dealing with that type of person, complying would most likely ended with the same result. It is appalling this man was allowed so many chances to terrorize the community and eventually commit the most heinous of his crimes against such a wonderful soul. Rest in heaven Aniah.
I shed a tear or two on this one. What heartbreak! The goodness of the girl. The pain and love of the family. The ruthlessness of the killer. If ever there was a justification for the death penalty, this is it. RIP Aniah!
There is a similar case in Nashville, TN. A young woman named Lauren Johansen lost her life to an ex-boyfriend who had been incarcerated for kidnapping her, but who was released on bond without proper notification to the family (someone left the father a voicemail after the ex-boyfriend failed to show for an appointment to be fitted with an ankle monitor, but he didn't hear until it was too late to act on the information). Lauren's father has made the same complaint as Aniah's family: the system is broken. People who should not be receiving bond are freely getting it, with no regard to the danger they pose to others.
I truly believe the dream Walt had of Aniah was an actual visit from her to let him know she is okay now and she was giving him the strength to go on and live his life, that was a visit. RIP sweet girl.

As a non American I see a lot of these shows with people getting murdered by bonded out criminals, does the justice system in america wants people to be murdered? wtf is going on.

Angela, if you ever read this, my heart and my thoughts are forever with you and your family.
IT WAS WONDERFUL TO SEE A COMMUNITY COME TOGETHER FOR SUCH A BEAUTIFUL SOUL WHO WAS BRUTALLY TAKEN MUCH TOO SOON IN LIFE 💔😢
How the hell did a guy with a kidnapping charge get bond?
This definitely sounds off.
Happens everyday.
The system doesn’t care about women. Look at how low the time is for these types of crimes and they almost always get out early!
A ridiculous justice system indeed! 😡
This country is run like a business. If they can find a way to generate revenue, they will do it. Making money is more important than the safety of its citizens.
They should’ve gave Walt Harris that man for five minutes in the room alone
ninja pleeeeze. 5 seconds and it'd've been done over. the day before. just 5 seconds. i say the day b4 cuz he'd have beat him into the past.
I was thinking exact same thing👊
I tell ya, he'd have re-arranged his face.
Ditto!
Good idea, but not 5 minutes. Until Walt Harris decides that he is done.
The detective crying seeing Walt break down 😢, each time i saw Walt cry i broke down. Such an amazing father.
And he was her stepdad too, he wouldn't have had to love her like that either!
Seriously broke my heart
Happy and thankful her mum has such an amazing husband. You don't see it often

The name of the judge should be broadcast as well….
It definitely should
Judge Tiffany mcCord
Yes, judge McCord was the ruling judge 😖
I wonder how does a judge feel after they grant bail to pos like these and find out they got out and committed worse crimes. RIP to Aniah 🙏🏾
They obviously don't care. They keep doing it.
Unless it happens to their family, they'll never understand.
They feel nothing. Judges live in gated communities and can afford private security. They feel NOTHING. Esp. demoncratic judges. Demons are evil to their soul.
They don’t care. That’s why they’re judges in the first place
They dont give a F yet growing up we were taught to trust the system 😢
Her poor brother. I hope he's able to heal from this. It won't be easy.
I can't imagine the scene of Walt being in so much pain that he resorted to punching a concrete wall. My heart breaks so much for Aniah's family. Lord, please bring comfort to this family.
I know...to hit a concrete wall would break every bone in your hand.
I bet her biological dad felt worse!

Same . As soon as Aniahs brother started speaking I could feel the pain in his voice and face and that moved with extreme emotion .
AMEN.
Yes it's like she was an legit angel on earth & it happened in a past life
The fact that he KIDNAPPED, beat, and robbed not only one elderly man, but did the same thing to a second man as well, and was allowed to just walk out the door until his trial is insane, but, disgustingly, NOT surprising within our criminal “justice” system that routinely, and really is designed TO, protect the people accused of these crimes over their innocent victims, and the public-at-large.
Thank the Democrats
@@jimwerther not wrong a lot of Democrat cities are giving little to zero dollar bonds even for redefenders of violent crimes.. some of these people are walking around with 20+ felonies by the age of 20 it's crazy..
People they let off easy like this, are 9/10 an informant.
Our justice system sucks!

This one made me tear up, those poor parents 😢
Truly a heart breaking case. Aniah didn't deserve that tragic end. I believe another reporting of this case mentioned that she fought back instead of complying. In this case dealing with that type of person, complying would most likely ended with the same result. It is appalling this man was allowed so many chances to terrorize the community and eventually commit the most heinous of his crimes against such a wonderful soul. Rest in heaven Aniah.
