Green Irish Tweed is S tier all day long for me. I don't care if it is common, it is brilliant. The only Creed I would happily spend money on regularly. Take my money, Creed.
I have to admit I’m glad you out Original Vetiver up as an A. It’s probably my favorite Creed scent. It smells just so darn good. I think Viking deserves a B. Yes it’s expensive but it really is a fantastic take on an old school after shave type scent. Very unique and very captivating. I love w wring it.
My perfect 1 - 2 punch, 1) Reflection Man Amouage - Dressed up, casual, Spring, Summer nights, Autumn, Winter. 2) Original Vetiver Creed- Casual, Dressed up, High heat summer days. (Le Male & Mugler Cologne wud work very well as a cheaper alternative)
We definitely have similar tastes. Virtually every creed tier list I've seen so far almost always has original Vetiver somewhere near the bottom, which I think is a crime! I own 6 bottles of creed so far and here's how i rank them... 1. Royal Oud 2. Millesime Imperial 3. Original Vetiver 4. Aventus 5. Green Irish Tweed 6. Original Santal My next purchase, I'm sure, will. e Silver Mountain Water!
Agreed I don’t understand the hate for original vetiver. Everyone says it’s just not complex enough and smells like muegler... at the end of the day it’s such a classy and simple smell, smells like Bond would wear it.
Milliseme Imperial is a funny one for me. I like the opening but the dry down really puts me off as I smell something really unpleasant. Like damp, or trash. There's a note there I can't put my finger on that just smells dirty. I've checked note breakdowns and I still can't work out what it is that I'm smelling, but I find it really repulsive and makes me want to get a shower. I know frags are very subjective, but I find it really odd how TFA has such a dull scent as his all time fragrance. I'd not have it top 50 and I've likely sampled for less than he has. I think it's definitely a mind memory with him and the fragrance aligns with his favourite memories so it gets put on a pedestal. I'm the same with Coco Mademoiselle. I had the greatest sex of my life with a 10/10 woman that wore that, so it brings back fantastic memories whenever I smell it.
it pales in comparison. aventus cologne does NOT smell unique. I get what they were trying to do, but it just smells like a run-of-the-mill designer frag. they should NOT have called it aventus. very misleading!
George you are absolutely spot on. I have 9 Creed and 8 of them are listed by you on the S, A and B tier. Only exception being Himalaya which is in the D tier.
OMG! Let the hell and discontent commence. LOL! Okay, Royal Water is, without a doubt, Creed's most under-rated scents and a rock-solid B+ IMO. Cheers!
*Nice tier list, George! Different noses, different takes. Creed has done something right to offer each taste great scents. Kudos for your Erolfa ranking!* ☕😉👍
Agree for the most part :) I think that Viking is still slept on a little - and I think in years to come people may look back on Viking and start to really appreciate it more and more. But time shall tell!
Man I almost never agree with your opinions, your lists or tastes. But your channel has an important role for me, which is perspective. I cannot get those opinions manifested by anyone except for you.
My top two are up there. I really enjoyed MI and Royal Oud when I tried them. At first I was walking around town blaming Peter (in my head:) that I smelt weird after trying Royal Oud but then it settled😊 I also found SMWater and Virgin Island really pleasant. Great reviews thanks:)
For the record, I don't think that Original Vetiver smells like an F-tier fragrance on composition alone; I jokingly put it in F-tier because I'm super-triggered at Creed calling it "Original" when it isn't. So name aside, Original Vetiver is at least C-tier for me because it's pleasant AF. Anyway, love your reasonings for each tier, fam! Great job! I think you had the most charming take on the Creed Fragrance Tier List so far. Salute! P.S. I did this in reverse alphabetic order, which is why Big A is at the end. Cheers! =]
We have similar tastes. I only own 3 creeds: aventus, original vetiver, and royal oud. I’ve smelled most of them, but those 3 are the only ones I’ve been compelled to buy.
Thanks for the video. Good list but for me the only two S Tier fragrances that Creed has is 1. Green Irish Tweed and 2. Aventus. G.I.T. is my all time favorite scent and Aventus is a close second for me. I'd say Millesime Imperial is an A Tier Fragrance (love this one). Although they smell great? Himalaya, Silver Mountain Water, and EROLFA are all B Tier IMO (due to the longevity). Those are pretty much the only Creeds I like. Viking might be B Tier as well but I don't really care for it.
Seems like most yotubers are hating on royal water without properly giving it a chance. Royal water is easily S tier for me. its fresh, its long lasting citrus which is unseen and unheard of. Creed has done the impossible here with royal water and its the most affordable one. why so much negativity? wtf is wrong with your logic?
Royal Water, Original Vetiver and Original Santal are my favorites. Also love Virgin Island Water. Silver Mountain Water is extremely overrated. I actually hate it!!
Really enjoyed this, George! I'll vouch for the D-list and say that I enjoy Royal Mayfair; the images that it evokes for me are wonderful. I couldn't own a full bottle of it, though, because the application is limited in my daily life. After seeing this tier list, there are some Creeds that I need to revisit.
Also, I notice most lists have tabarome near the bottom of their lists. I was given a sample when I bought my royal oud and I remember liking tabarome very much, up there with original Vetiver. I need to smell it again. I think I liked tabarome better than silver Mountain water.
I like Creed. They manage to include ingredients I hate, and make them work! VIW is my favourite. I like the Irish Tweed, Aventis and SMW also. What is that neckline called on that jumper you're wearing?!
Like you my fragrance journey was over before it began, the first time I smelled Mugler cologne I thought that’s it, that’s what I want. But being in my mid 30s and having a bottle of mugler cologne when it first launched It’s been reformulated many times I have always said if I ever hit the lottery I would have Alberto make that Fragrance for me just the way it smells when it first came out
*Great video. I'm not a big fan of Creed and the only one I always found special and outstanding is Tabarome. And Erolfa I enjoy smelling on men a lot. But they are still too expensive... Great editing. I have no idea how you did that :)*
First tier list where I agree with S tier, albeit I would never buy Aventus. I wouldn't buy it for the same reason I wouldn't buy Sauvage or any other fragrance that a third of the male population smells of, lol. Good job 👍
I appreciate every one has an opinion, but at the same time I don’t really care what other’s think. Creed is my favourite house. Each fragrance tells a chapter of a story.
Yes on Royal Oud. Other than that this house is just hard to justify paying for what's in the bottle. This coming from someone that has not problem throwing down $800 on a fragrance. But not paying for hype or presentation all about the ingredients to me.
How is there not a stand alone god tier for aventus? It's the king bro , panty dropper all day 😂 But seriously, great to get your thoughts and reasons for your ranking 👌
Yep. I can't deny anything you said. Great chart , same order as me. I would have G.I.T at the top. I think Aventus has twice as much common-ness than G.I.T!? Great when it was released in 2010, but the clones have given it a painful death unfortunately. G.I.T still stands supreme.
I have Green Irish Tweed and it's really nice, but not THAT much better than Cool Water, which I also have. And of course, the price difference is literally night and day.
@@GasMaskReacts huge difference between Cool Water & G.I.T . The only similarity is the opening, then they go In complete different directions. Cool Water remains the same and flat until it fades out. Green Irish Tweed slowly goes floral with ambergis present, and has a much better less synthetic smell from start to finish.
GIT is just one of those fragrances that is impossible to clone perfectly, whereas Aventus is everywhere. Even the other day I smelt Ambercrombie and Fitch Authentic and smells identical to Aventus.
Ok love the video and own 8 of these fragrances, with that being said, put some respect on Original Santal lol. It's similar to Individual but I clearly notice the differences and it's my most complimented Creed after Aventus Cologne, Aventus, and Royal Oud. I'd give it B tier.
We can agree to disagree on specific fragrances, but I generally like your tier list. My number 1 is Silver Mountain Water, which I would put at the top. Royal Oud (for Winter) and Erolfa (for Summer) I would also place in the top two tiers. Ofc Aventus and Millesime Imperial rank high for me. Yeah, I own 15 bottles of aventus, and decants of viking, royal oud, green Irish tweed etc, but I keep thinking about Royal Water the time I sprayed it in the store. Will be my next creed for sure.
Original Vetiver seems much less discussed and less popular than I expected. Perhaps it’s because it is a “clean” fragrance and therefore tends to be taken less seriously. I can’t imagine tiring of its sophistication.

Royal oud, the preferred fragrance of every 60+ Turkish cab driver. And they produce it on their own without showering for 2 weeks.
