Keep up the good work 👍
Thanks great info !!
Wonderful
Very informative I need this done
Thank you!
Thanks I am glad I found your channel. I have been trying to figure out my vibration on my '02 Mack this my be something I check next.
I glad it is helpful! Welcome
Mine had at between 67 and71.
It was my trailer having the vibration uneven wear on a single axle. Also check ur trailer tires..
Great videos, could you make one about setting up and messuring rear suspension drive hight and leveling valves
Seems to be pretty common issue and cause of vabration as well. Thanks
Do you have a video showing how to take off and reinstall drive shaft. Especially the process that you refer to the video of labeling and organizing
Good video. You should do one on drive shaft phasing. Once had a truck that had the shafts reinstalled improperly after a clutch job. Caused a severe vibration.
Good suggestion! Thanks
I need to come to see you with my SEMI 780 Volvo 2008. I have bad noise when it’s driving 2 or 3 shift
Really great and informative videos. Question for you. I just upgraded the transmission in my bus to an MT-643. The #1 or primary drive shaft of three drive shafts had to be shortened and balanced. Do I have to balance the other two drive shafts as well?
I haven't yet, can't decide if in the engine or possibly the power divide
Thank you so much for this I have been looking for a vibration for 6yrs and no one ever said check the drive shaft they all want to balance the tires and do an alignment
You are welcome! I am glad it helps! 👍
Then you're going to a bunch of dumbasses. Find a real mechanic. Anything in the drive train is capable of producing an erratic vibration.
I have 2006 Peterbilt 379 Day cab. New driveshaft New all tires New clutch, New injectors. It still does viberation under acceleration. I am tired from it.
I have question Bout 3018 kw t680 front leaf springs is it possible to replace bushing and pin or i have to buy all assembly
The vibration I am experiencing has nothing to do with the drivetrain or tires
My Ford LNT 8000 tandem dump truck shakes like crazy between about 20 -35 miles per hour. Any Ideas?
How can I find a dyno shop near Houston tx do you know?
Where shop at ? I’m from Ohio need fix that problem
Found your channel when you were driving... Great content.... I have an idea for a video if you might be interested... Id love to see something on what types of maintenance issues you should expect to perform at say 400k miles, 700k miles, 1 milion miles.....
The idea being that if buying a used truck that has not had an inframe what might I run into in terms of maintenance costs just having to fix or replace the things that are just ready for replacement because of mileage .
Great idea! Will make a video about it!
@@truckingandfixing Awesome... It would be nice to know what to expect when considering purchase of a used truck.... Thanks again for the content!
You are welcome!
Mine is surging and has loud vibration rattle sound
❤
Hello, I just started working at a truck repair shop. Do you think I can come work at your shop /be helper for few months next summer to learn how to swap engines? I am in Vancouver. I am planning to buy a used semi and put in a younger engine to start my own trucking company. I'll come work for free and in return you teach me how to swap engines. Thanks
I’ve been having some shaking but can’t tell where it’s coming from. Only when I drive 59-66 mph. I’ve changed all tires and shocks and still get shaking
Did you ever figure it out
2022 Peterbilt already vibrating
Peterbilt quality is totally gone. I had a 2019 389 that was the biggest POS I've ever owned. What a total joke
you ever figure it out ? i got 2022 367
I think I may have this issues my mechanic did King pins, bushings, tie rod ends, shocks, torque arms etc. And I still feel a vibration like under my driver seat not in the steering wheel.
I'm dealing with the same thing on my Columbia. I'm about replace my u-joints. Then go from there.
I'm having same issue but mine is more like bouncing.
Did all that as well, come to found out today it was my drive line (shaft) needs to be rebuild. Dropping it and taking it to a local shop to get it fixed and balanced.
Thanks for the video. Hey what's the name of your shop?
Fox truck and tractor LLC
@@truckingandfixing Thanks. You're only about 80 miles from me. I'll definitely give you a call if possible. I see you're very busy.
Hey where is your shop located
1120 high ave sw canton Ohio 44707
took a lot of those apart
Thank you for sharing your experience! 👍
@@truckingandfixing i was a heavy duty mechanic for Yonkers mostly repair garbage trucks for 18 years
I'm having a vibration at low speeds, and when making turns. Loaded it is worse
Did. You fix the problem? I have a mack vision that for some reason going to 7th and 8th gear i feel the vibration if I give it more gas than usual it goes away
Man I got to worst vibration we’ve replaced front springs and bushings rear bushings changed rear ends thru shaft rims tires kings pins tie rod new hubs all the way around and front axel spindles still gotta vibration
Were you ever able to figure out the problem?
Does this cause vibration when I’m in reverse or 1st gear without accelerating in low rpms? After I accelerate it doesn’t vibrate anymore
No that's just your U joints , it's possible your angles are wrong and axles need shimmed to correct
sir where is your shop ?
Canton Ohio. www.foxtruckandtractor.com/
The semi I drive has smooth acceleration through gears but at 8 and 9th gear as it accelerates through 1100 to 1300 rpms it feels like there is some kind of vibration or friction or something and then it smooths out as continue to accelerate and shift through gears. It's 2021 freightliner Cascadia. Any ideas?
Check ride height for proper driveshaft alignment. Panhard bar bushings can cause this as well. Start with the cheapest thing first then go to the actual driveshaft
@@codybertram6122 thank you
My truck has bad vibration at 60mph?
Me too it’s driving me crazy
Mine had at between 67 and71.
It was my trailer having the vibration uneven wear on a single axle. Also check ur trailer tires.
Can you send me your shop address ? i need to bring my truck in to check the vibration . I have 2012 Freightliner Cascadia. Thanks
