Start out by using no quantize, than quantize to a triplet, of your choice, 1/8t, 1/16t etc. Than use the shift by clock parameters and listen to how the beat moves. Finally, It’s remarkable on the kick and sample. Thanks for watching!
@@beataddiktgodd thanks for these explanations mate. Unfortunately, I had to sold my beloved EPS a while ago :'( I used another technique to get some swing, after noticing a "glitch" on the sequencer : basically when recording notes in loop mode, if you don't stop the recorder and let the loop play over and over, the notes you entered start to shift and create some swing (dunno if it works on the 16+ and ASR tho). The more you let the loop play without stopping, the more the notes will play late. So I would first program the notes on the beat and the off-beat, quantize them, and then program the syncopated notes using this technique. Hope that makes sense, it would me much easier to just show you lol !
Thanks, yes got 2 of them, brought one back in 1995 and just brought another last year! I also, own 2 rack mount asr 10 Furthermore, I do get them error message once in awhile, I noticed, when I move to fast, I get them… Finally, I strive to save as I go, just in case I do get an error message. Thanks for watching!
