Hey Mate, thank you so much for this video. I've been on a CPAP machine with nasal pillow for about 15 years and would have fell for this BS had I not seen your video. I didn't think it would work either but for 20-30 bucks just for the s**** and giggles I figured I would try one out but not now seeing your video. Keep up the great work on blowing the lid off of these scams! 🍻
Thank you. I was looking through google, came across this, but also saw a post from Mayo Clinic that said all CPAP devices require a prescription in the US. The Makeric does not, and frankly it is way too cheap. Thanks for laying it out clearly. Enjoy that pint.
Well nowadays there’s a healthy “grey market” for cpap machines online which is good because at retail they’re too expensive and everyone doesn’t have good insurance to pay the full price.
Honestly glad I stopped for a minute and looked up this review. I move around a lot in my sleep so I haven’t found any good solutions. Sleep apnea and insomnia are living my butt!!! I’ve been so exhausted and even been having nightmares now too along with some paralysis.
I wish I saw this video before I fell into the scam and ordered one 😢.. Anyway I’ve been watching a lot of your videos and love the content you put out! Keep up the great work mate.
G'day mate. Stumbled upon your video in my search to help with my OSA that has been affecting me for a few years. Was finally diagnosed. Been recommended the Mandibular Splint because the CPAP don't work for me. It keeps falling out of the mouth though? Any suggestions or what to do to keep it in or recommendations for alternatives to fix the OSA? Cheers!

Just came across this device on Amazon and, just as you say, I was amazed at how highly reviewed it was). I do read reviews though, and could see there was was something fishy going on. Thanks for confirming my suspicions!
I see that error reviews on Amazon all the time, where it is not reviews for the product for sale! I wonder if Amazon is doing an extra profit sharing on these...
Omg when I looked for anti snoring devices, THANK GOD I always read reviews and go reviews for movie, toys, etc. I had no clue other people had also noticed this. Thank you for this
I saw one of these devices being advertised in my Facebook feed yesterday. I asked if it had a money back guarantee and there was no reply. Tells me everything I need to know . And they want $50!
Voilà je l'ai essayé plusieurs nuit et j'ai remarqué un effet bénéfique sur moi,je dors plus longtemps donc moins de micro réveil et je me sent légèrement moins fatiguée mais sa ne remplace pas la PPC.
I saw the diagram Airing put out showing how their product works, and immediately started laughing. At BEST, their product is an ionizer. So if your apnea is caused by allergens, it MIGHT actually do something for you (unlikely though). Thing about an ionizer though is that all those particles collect inside the device and get NASTY if you don't open it up and clean it regularly. So great way to get repeated infections.
Hi. Good video. Lucky find. Why is it that the ebay CPAP mouth guards no good. Are you only saying that because your advertising a specific mouth guard.
I wondered if these are other products that this company actually sells. I’ve noticed this with many items and I can’t find a search limit that restricts the results to the product I’m looking at.
Can sleep apnea cause Tinitus? Sometimes when I wake up in the morning, my ears are ringing and they ring for days. It goes away then it will come back in the morning.
I ordered it for $39.00 it never arrived, the email said my post office could not deliver it, it said I did not put my address. Post office said they sent it back. I tried to call for a refund no one answers rhe phone. After many emails, I did actually get a refund.
2:50 the description repeatedly says it stops snoring according to what you read. For those who have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and have used a real CPAP before, it's obvious that it's not a CPAP at this point. CPAPS delivery forced air through the machine to help people when they stop breathing throughout the night. That's what sleep apnea is: a person repeatedly stops breathing throughout the night and loses oxygen to their brain which, over time, can lead to strokes. People who have sleep apnea often snore, but people can snore and NOT have sleep apnea. People who snore and DON'T have sleep apnea don't need a CPAP (unless they want one). I have sleep apnea. I was trying to find an affordable solution to replace my CPAP. I figured this was a scam but didn't actually click on a link to view the product description. I can't believe they are calling it a micro CPAP and getting away with it, but I guess no one enforces consequences for false advertising. Anyway, glad you posted this video. Thanks!
would have appreciated to get the brand of this mandibular thingy written down - I listened to the text passage 3x and still couldn't get it. Dr Google didn't help either.
I been using one for about a week. As it’s not as good as a cpap Machine it dose help. What’s good for some may not be for others. Thought I should say something. Carry on!
It is a nose device that doesn't have the power to open you airway. You could literally get the same therapeutic effect by just breathing through your nose. What would be the difference?????
My husband has a 3D printer. When I first saw these things, I told him "It's too bad we're so ethical. You could print these and we'd make lots of money."
The company hopes people won't bother getting a refund for a $20 item. It's not always worth the hassle. If everyone sent them back it would shut the seller down.
Aren't there cheap devices that kind of hold your tongue out of your mouth too (silicone looking items)? I have been doing some research and there seems to be a new-ish device out that just basically pulls your tongue out of your mouth to try and create the space in the back of the throat. It is sort of an alternative to the mandibular device. Can't offer an opinion if it works, but I saw it from a person that is an ENT and they are taking about these alternative items.
The reason Amazon reviews are sometimes misleading is because they allow sellers to put multiple products under one listening, this was mainly for products of the same type but different sizes or colors. But this feature has been abused by scammers to create misleading reviews for the trojan horse products.
Bought an actual, proper, darn expensive but high quality CPAP machine a short while ago with the help of your guidance . A magic bullet. It is implausibly easy to operate! At first I didn't like the first couple of masks I tried, but when I found the one that suited me... I strap on the soft and well-designed nose mask when I want to sleep and the machine STARTS working nearly instantly and I whip it off when I awake and it STOPS nearly instantly and during the night I sleep SO well! SO many new dreams! And omg they are SO much more quiet than the lawnmower engine my mum and dad had to put up with back in the day. Virtually inaudible. Not even kidding nor a shill. If you think you have sleep/snoring issues, get it checked out, consider a CPAP machine. They are quiet and comfortable these days- so easy to adjust to and so very worth the tiny effort.

CPAP Reviews: Love your videos! I've learned so much from you! 🙇When I saw the title of this video, I was a bit puzzled. I started using an AirSense 11 with an AirFit P30i about a month ago and find I don't snore at all anymore. Somehow, the P30i manages to keep my mouth shut all night so the only breathing I do is thru my nose. It's like magic. Is this not the case for other CPAP users? Am I just lucky? 🤔Also, I would _not_ recommend surgery for people who snore. My dad had it done many years ago and it said that it was extremely painful and for a very long time healing _AND_ it didn't fix the snoring problem at all!
I was really hoping to see you break that piece of $h!π wide open to show what's inside. I spent about two solid years trying to get these things banned on Facebook and other social media. Would have liked to see a few real world test to show these don't work. The amazon scam is not enough to prove there's no benefit. I've bought wireless earbuds from sellers who use this scam because I wanted $15 buds, and guess what, they do the job. A test I would like to see is the static pressure. It's unlikely, but if it is 0.05 psi or greater, it's at least at the low end of an actual CPAP machine. Another test is the flow rate. I suspect that it's impossible to get even a litre per minute, but without doing the test, any conclusions are based on speculation. I am confident that this device is CRAP (pronounced C-rap), but would like to see actual results. If it could generate .05 psi (4 cm H2O) and have a bipass for inhalation, I could see a similar device helping those with a very mild condition or those who are just dealing with snoring and have no issues with O2 saturation.
That Amazon page in particular is a scam where they use the same page and just change it over time, so the 5 star reviews stay there. So they were selling Grogu stickers for a little while, racked up the 5-star reviews, then just edited the page and changed it to the Micro-CPAP.

Yup I see it all the time, I’m assuming it’s because vendors will take listings for product they’re no longer selling and use that page for a new product to avoid listing fees and/or waiting for approval, in addition to the obvious head start in reviews. It’s really annoying when I’m trying to actually read about other’s experience with a product and I notice it on third party listings all the time, the confusing part is that many of the products are perfectly good and shouldn’t need an artificial ratings boost like the product in this video. Either way, they’re obviously doing this to get around _something,_ and you’d think it’d be in Amazon’s best interest to crack down on people abusing this loophole, but AFAIK these sort of listings still seem just as prevalent as ever.

Attention c'est vendu à différents tarifs moi je l'ai payé 16€ 😊 au lieu de 59€ 😮
Well, the good news about Amazon is you can return anything.
I don’t understand how these scams make money… aren’t Amazon returns free? You would tell right away they don’t work
